Spent a fantastic evening with great food, service attentive but not overbearing. Great value for Amazing food

Lovely restaurant. Great food and menu. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant. It’s quickly become one of our favourites.

3rd time we’ve been here recently- consistently excellent food and service, no matter what dishes we order. Will be back again very soon!!!

We ordered takeaway from here due to the great reviews. Not impressed. The sag paneer used cheddar or something rather than paneer cheese, the peshwari naan was basically sugar bread and the sauces we ordered just weren’t up to scratch.

We had a set meal for 2 take away and it was delicious. Great tasting. Good portions. Speedy service, good value for money.

First time eating at the restaurant last night I cannot fault anything food was delicious service was good even though they were very busy. Prices are competitive we will definitely eat there again. Thank you for a lovely meal x

We ordered delivery at 1pm online then got told they don’t deliver in the afternoon as not busy understandable then got told they can’t make naan bread in the afternoon only evening so we waited to the evening try to order online doesn’t work properly so call up make my order (on Combe haven site) driver calls I go pick up from front gate no issues get back open food korma was Walter down not a thick sauce at all no flavour, keema rice had really red dyed meat in side , coconut naan very sweet and thick like a dessert keema naan very red no flavour just too salty Chips was probably best thing and they was £3.50 for a verry small amount, it’s the next day I now have food poisoning not worth it at all very very bad worst food I’ve ever had and now paying for it by getting sick and the diarrhoea and our £40 AVOID AT ALL COST

Our regular Indian was closed so we decided to try Namaste Mumbai. A great decision. Great food, great service and good value. I had a dupiaza as a main and my wife had a dhansak. Together with an onion bhaji, naan and rice, all excellent quality and quantity. Many thanks, we'll be back soon

My partner and I were visiting the wkend and staying at the Combe haven holiday park .. on the off chance we went in and it was quite busy they accommodated us a place to sit .. even though they were very busy .. what a lovely place and the service was excellent.. food was so lovely . We would definitely visit again

3 words come to mind after my meal at Namaste Mumbai last night ‘love, care and attention’. The best vegetable korma and peshwari naan I’ve ever had! Mintoo and his team have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere which is friendly and charming. Such attention to detail both within the restaurant decor and food, we were a table of 9 and each of us felt well cared for. Service was exceptional from start to finish, could not recommend Namaste Mumbai enough, will 100% be coming back.

Been coming here for years,food & service have always been really good. Tonight's visit was exceptional, best curry I have had for ages.balance of spices & flavours were next level. Fresh naan bread & home made pickles just made it top notch Service is just how I like it, attentive & prompt without being intrusive.

We went for a meal this evening, safe to say it was absolutely amazing the best meal full of flavour, freshly cooked, the staff were very attentive. Looking forward to our next visit soon thanks for a lovely evening.

Fantastic service, owner Mintu has a great customer face. Great sence of humour which makes you feel relaxed when your eating. The food is out of this world, full of flavour and quality too. Very relaxed environment. I'd say one of 2 best in town! Definitely be coming here again.

👍 Worth going out of your way for. Little lesser known hole in the wall with the best Indian around. If you like spice get the chicken naga. Trust their recommendations when they ask what flavors you like. Ordered their takeaway the very next day it was so good.

visiting from Australia and couldn’t wait to visit my favourite Indian restaurant in Hastings, as always the food is excellent and the warm welcome I receive is second to none. Mintoo is the perfect host and always makes sure my food is just how I like it with plenty of shots for dessert,love this place

We went out for a family NYE meal at Namaste. We had the jalfrezi, goan chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka bhuna and chicken tikka dupiaza. Every dish was delicious as well as all the sides. The highlight of the meal was the special naan bread….so delicious. Could not recommend more! Great service, reasonable prices and delicious food.

Edit: The owner reached out to me and apologized. Very thoughtful of him. Apparently, that is they way the people like it here. I'm adding 2 stars because he really tried to make it right. ordered 9 dishes because of the good rating here, but the food was just terrible. The veggies were overcooked and mushy. The meat was dry. Chicken tikka masala and the Korma had way too much sugar in it, I would count them as pudding. And generally, nothing had much flavor. I'm very disappointed. The vindaloo was the only curry I liked because it had some hotness to it. but it still had dry chicken in it...

Namaste Mumbai in Hastings is a hidden gem! We had the Christmas Eve meal deal, and it was fantastic. The food, drinks, and hospitality were top-notch, with great vibes. Conveniently located near the city center with parking available. Definitely a five-star experience—can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing food, best curry I’ve had for a long time. Could taste the flavours as was not swimming in oil like other curry houses I’ve been to. Amazing menu with all the well known curries but it also had different dishes and we’ll tried one of the chef’s special and now want to try them all. Staff were amazing, so friendly (but not in your face all the time) and nothing too much trouble. Definitely my go to for curry now.

Food was delicious when it eventually arrived over an hour late. Would highly recommend the food. We ordered on line so not sure if that was the issue, like to avoid delivery apps as cost the restaurant, may be on this occassion would have been better for us. Said 45 minutes for delivery. At 30 mins late we called and were advised it would be arriving soon, delay was due to being one driver short. Food arrived 30mins later. Everything was tasty.

This was our first visit to Namaste Mumbai, but it won’t be our last! This local restaurant looks unassuming from the outside, but the interior is warm, comfortable and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely top notch. Our grandson said that it was the best meal he’s ever had in his whole life! My husband and I will definitely be coming back.

I have eaten in Namaste Mumbai's restaurant and ordered multiple take aways too, both brilliant. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty despite travelling distance to get to us, I find that the balance of flavours is always spot on. I love the range of the menu as there's something for everyone and the staff when eating in the restaurant cannot do enough for you - Very attentive and friendly. Whenever we fancy a curry, we will always go to Namaste - Keep it up!!

My partner and I had dinner here. Found it on the off chance of driving past. We hadn’t book but they were very accommodating. The food was really delicious, full of flavours. I got given a really nice glass of Sauvignon which was really good. The owner and staff were so lovely. Thank you for a wonderful meal and evening.

We thought that we would try this restaurant, seeing that the reviews were good...WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS!! The delivery was late and the food..well..it all had a funny tang to it, but no flavour as it should have for an Indian. The passanda had a hint of beer in it, was flavourless and tasted nothing like it should! The Korma was very week on flavour and my daughter-in-law felt sick after! The Balti tasted absolutely nothing like a Balti should and the vegetables were under cooked. And the coconut rice and pilau rice tasted like microwave white rice with no flavour! WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN 🤢🤮

Great time was had we were a group of 10.Service was excellent the food was superb and all of us had a great evening and will return as a group and individuals.

Very good food, fresh and tasty. We were a party of eight and the staff were great. In particular we liked the chicken Jahlfresi and the lamb Rogan, the sag paneer, spinach and rice and nan. À good addition to the local area

The food was excellent. All hot, fresh and good variety of spices and flavours. Particularly good was the chicken jahlfresi. And the lamb ragon. The sag rice which I haven't had before was special. There were eight of us so we had a wide selection. All were finished and enjoyed. Service was friendly. Prices were good value for money.

1st nite at Combe haven and decided on a indian takeaway for tea as we always do on holiday , and this one is amazing , chicken tika madras was just right as spice goes , keema nan lovely rest of food could not fault it , staff at restaurant were lovely and had a chat even though we weren't eating in, on the whole a very nice place to eat . The owner is always around, ready to offer recommendations or engage in a friendly chat. We absolutely loved the cozy setting. It's advisable to book a table on weekends, as the place is small with limited seating. EN: The atmosphere of the place is welcoming and the food you eat there is the best I have tried both in the UK and in Italy. The owner is always present and available both to suggest some dishes and for a chat. We loved the clean place (few places have clean windows, and he is one of them! :) ) and small and therefore, at least on the weekend, it is advisable to book.

You know when you really fancy a curry, but have doubts when trying somewhere for the first time? Well fear not . . . . ! We drove 4 miles out of our way to visit this establishment. When the Team spot you approaching the doorway, they immediately come to the door to open it for you. A very nice touch. We chose our regular dishes as we wanted to play it safe not knowing what to expect. We had chicken biryani, half heat chicken madras, sagaloo, and peshawari naan. It did not fail to disappoint on flavour, and we took a doggy bag home as it was simply far too good to waste. My husband and I agreed it was the best curry we've had in years. The young waiter was very attentative and the owner interacted with the customers which it was clear they had their regular customers. Just as they do on entry they open the door when you leave, and thank you for your custom. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, and for the excellent food and service.

Brilliant food, well presented with friendly staff.

Wow what a great place. the food is top notch, especially the calamari and nan breads.The salmon tikka was most worthy of praise and a jalfrezi served in a hit skillet, brought a touch of excitement to the evening. Great service and a welcome visit awaits. You will need to book for early evenings.

Good Indian Food.....if you like it Spicy /Hot, take Plak Chicken, ....and if it not hot enough ask the Staff for more spice....🔥😋 Price is good and the Staff are very friendly....the Vindaloo is also good...and the Staff is absolutly friendly.

Have been to Namaste so many times - just the 2 of us, with family or with neighbours. Every time has been a delight. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like family. I like to try different dishes and I have never been disappointed. Minto is so friendly and is passionate about his restaurant, the two young waiters are also very attentive. Not sure why haven’t posted a review before now as it the restaurant I have visited the most and will continue to do so! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Namaste!

I had no prior knowledge of this restaurant before my wife and myself went for a meal. The food was simply outstanding together with the service from the friendly staff. We are staying at Haven Combe Valley holiday park & this is the first time we have visited this restaurant (less than 5 minutes walk from Haven). The food & service were absolutely fantastic, the owner and waiter were very friendly. We had poppadoms & pickles, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka bhuna, pilau rice & garlic/cheese nann. The food tasted so fresh & chicken very tender. Would highly recommend & the complimentary drinks at the end of our meal were a welcome bonus.

I ordered takeaway and went in to collect it. I don't usually review takeaways but I'm gluten intolerant which makes me awkward. I phoned and was told exactly what had gluten and what didn't, they knew what they were doing which is always a relief. The food was great and when I went in to collect it they all knew I was gluten intolerant and I was assured. The restaurant itself seemed nice and the staff were very friendly. The food was great and I plan to order again soon.

Namaste Mumbai is our go to place, its not comfort food, its amazing food! we love it.The food is stunning, we recommend you pop by and give it a try.
