It isn’t every day you get to eat delicious food with a view like this!! Waterfalls. Lakes. Mountains and lots of local ales to sample. So friendly!! So delicious!! So stunning!!

I had a browse of what this quirky little deli had to offer and eventually chose to try a Wheaten Wheel. Think of a big, thick Burton’s Wagon Wheel- mallow-tastic!

From start to finish Lissie and her team were awesome, the set up was easy and bar looked great. Cocktails were on point and tailored to what we liked, and our guest all commented on how great they were. We will definitely be using Near and Far bars again! Thank you so much for making our party a success.

This cafe has, in my opinion, all the qualities of a truly excellent cafe: delicious food, very reasonable prices, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great coffee, Bakewell slice and the service is always good, with Tony the proprietor leading the way. What more do you want from a boutique cafe.

Popped in to get the little one a kids meal and a snack for us before walking back to our campsite but after looking at the menu we decided to get burgers each also. Fab customer service, both the guys inside were lovely and the food was amazing. We could have waited and taken it away, or popped in to the pub across the road or down the road - which they even walked down for you! We were really impressed with the food, it was tasty and was of great quality. The kids meal was also great value for money and he was chuffed. If we were staying another night we would have returned again!

Very good, fresh cooked delicious food - just how a family run cafe should be. Good wine menu for another day - we will come back!

Fantastic local cafe with super fresh honest food and generous servings. Very friendly and homely atmosphere and service. Excellent organic coffee. My highlight are the special Turkish pastries that come with a meze plate. Would recommend and will be back!

Amazing,thank goodness we found you for a catch up with my sister to chat and eat,a very warm welcome,I had the avocado n cream cheese bagel,with tasty homemade slaw and pickles,my sister had scrambled eggs(so fresh n free range on 3 lovely well cut big slices of wholemeal toast)..Huge pot of tea and very nice coffee,just sad we didn't,have room for the gorgeous homemade cakes on display,,next time!!,we loved it alot,,see you next time..

Food and service was great. Bizarre experience being in the Spode factory, but totally worth it! Loved the story behind each of the dishes and the oatcake was especially good. Great value also.
