Came here for weekday lunch and we were the first ones to arrive however they were understaffed so food took awhile to arrive. Food was east Asian - typically the variety in offerings means there’s less refinement in the food. The green curry has a rough texture to the broth and was over salty, the combo platter was too oily. Great for group dinners and vibes but food was ok

The food was delicious and the ambiance is laid back and relaxed. Julia was lovely and took care of us very well. My friend says she’s the best server she’s had and I agree!

The atmosphere and vibe of this place was amazing, I loved the interior and there was even howls castle being projected on a wall. Service as nice and really welcoming they left me and my partner to settle down and talk before being called to order. We ordered the Fukuoka tonkotsu ramen and the Yamato fillet steak (I kinda forgot what we ordered but these seem accurate 😅). Our order came quickly and was very nice!.

Great service by the waitress, she explained everything about the menu clearly. I have been here before but the menu has changed slightly food was good. The chicken satay was good, there were 4 sticks. My noodles were nice but the meat was a little Luke warm so I mentioned this to the waitress and she kindly immediately got me a new plate of food. The atmosphere is really nice as the decor is quite authentic. My husband ordered the steak and egg dish. The portion of avocado in the dish was quite small, and the beef was ok from inside, but the edges were quite dry. I am sure if we said something, they would have re made the dish quite happily. Overall good.

This place is amazing! But if you get served by Julia your experience is about to be 20/10

We celebrated my birthday at your restaurant on December 29th and had a fantastic experience thanks to Julia's outstanding service. She was incredibly attentive to our son, making him feel comfortable and welcome throughout the meal. It's rare for him to finish his food when we dine out, but he devoured his meal, a testament to how well Julia engaged with him. The food was also absolutely brilliant, exceeding our expectations. Julia's friendly and professional demeanour made our dining experience truly memorable. She is a true asset to your company.

Quick and friendly service - Beef Rendang and Pak Choi were both underwhelming in terms of flavour but ok. Sambal Egg was cold and tasted of absolutely nothing. I expected much better for the price and location but it wasn’t offensive either.

Great little restaurant, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Julia, our waitress was really friendly and offered advice on the menu. She really engaged with our children even down to giving them book recommendations when she saw them reading! Overall a great experience and the service would make us recommend this place to other families.

Service was really good and you are welcomed with a smile as soon as your enter the restaurant. Unfortunately the chicken satay was very lacklustre. Far, far too gingery and lacked flavour. Quite dry as well. If you want good Satay then go around the corner to Laksa mania. As for the Pad Krapow Khai, flavours were ok but FAR too salty. Overall, wouldn't recommend

Many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Very welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress Julia explained the menue very well. Service and quality of food was very good. The mocktails were really tasty, too.

Great place in Central London. Delicious beer and very nice service. My wife and I were on a trip to London and we will remember this PUB. First of all, thanks to the lovely Juli who entertained us with a wonderful conversation in her native language. I hope that we will see each other again, this time on Polish soil - we invite you. I recommend the place, if I come back to London I will definitely visit there again. Great pub, great team, great atmosphere, great Julia :)

New Year’s Eve, a reservation made 2 weeks beforehand and we have to arrive in person to find out that they close at 9 pm, when our reservation was for 9.30 pm. No solutions were given, simply an apology. They said that they tried to contact us multiple times, when in fact they only tried it once, but the cancellation mail did arrive immediately after communicating to the hostess the situation of our reservation (the reservation was confirmed via email that same morning). She even said that they had been closing at 9 pm for the whole year, yet the restaurant accepts reservations after that time and on google it says it stays open till 1 am. Deeply disappointed and now fumbling to find somewhere to have dinner at New Year’s Eve.

Extremely rude staff, do not go here. I arrived to a brunch I had booked at 3.02 and proceeded to wait a further few minutes to wait to be seen which was fine until I spoke to a bleach blonde woman who said she could not seat me as we were late, despite only being two minutes after 3. We were happy to take 5 or so minutes off the end of our brunch but she aggressively refused us, and tried to be as awkward as possible, despite there being no online policy stating you cannot be seated if you are 2 minutes late. I would not recommended this place to anyone, extremely rude servers.

We had a fantastic experience at Tampopo! We went last Friday for my friend's 30th birthday, and it couldn't have been a better choice. The food was delicious, especially the the Yaki Udon with chicken. The vibe inside the restaurant is also really cool. We went from 8-11pm on a Friday. It was buzzing. What made the night extra special was our amazing host, Julia. She brought great vibes and elevated the experience with her friendliness and hospitality. She ensured everything went smoothly and made sure we all had a good evening. Highly recommend this place for great food, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service.

Lovely Asian place. Great food and atmosphere, service is warm and friendly. They accepted us 20 minutes before closing the kitchen, and served quick and tasty dishes. The spicy pad kapau is very hot, be warned (delicious). Highly recommended

Popped in for lunch, was quiet ish, ordered the small plates which played out like a tapas style Vietnamese street food platter, every dish we had was amazing, arguably the best tasting food I’ve ever had 5 dishes & 2 cokes £50 odd great value will defo be going back

We held our team Christmas lunch here last week, booking the entire venue for ~120 people. The restaurant did an amazing job, seating us all comfortably and serving three courses and drinks within just three hours! The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced for the location. The servers and chefs were outstanding—organised, calm, and friendly throughout, despite the size of the group. A special thanks to Andrea for her help with organising and to the chefs for accommodating complex dietary requirements. Highly recommend this place for large events!

The food, service, and prices at Tampopo Street Kitchen are solid—nothing to complain about, but nothing particularly exceptional either. The Chicken Katsu was enjoyable, but it didn’t stand out compared to similar dishes elsewhere. If you’re craving Asian food, it’s a decent choice, though there are definitely better options available in London.

food was terrible. some ingredients tasted rotten. we mentioned this to the server while paying the bill but they ignored our comment and walked off. i'm not sure where these positive reviews are coming from. most of the dishes were subpar. definitely won't return!
