The waiter Sarah was very sweet and gave us all recommendations. She was fun and friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. Overall a great experience and very pleased with the food.

Andrea, our server, was fantastic. Food was out of this world and we both had a really nice time. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area.

Had never been, but we decided to go in, the restaurant had a nice vibe, we had a lovely server Sara who was really helpful, gave us a great seat, and some great recommendations, and made us feel really welcome she made our visit so great. The food was really nice and came quickly, would recommend.

Good food, beautiful location and kind and helpful staff. The menu has a wide choice, obviously all Asian food ranging from Japan to Korea to China and Thai. Open kitchen clean and interesting to see the preparation of the dishes :) Definitely to return.

Sara had the biggest smile and was very attentativr. A great easy staple in central London.

Went for a bottomless brunch. It's definitely the worst one we've ever been on. They were really busy so service was slow, one meal was ok, drinks tasted watered down. I wouldn't come back

So all in all this place is great. 100per cent the food was what made it. Everything was yum yum, service and atmosphere was great. The only thing that could elevate it would be the cocktails. The cocktails were disappointing. It needed to be a bit more refined, and what we got were cocktails you would find at a teenage party, and they weren’t very´instagramable’ if you get what I mean. But all in all if I had to do it again I would, but maybe order a coke or a beer.

Service was brilliant, our server, Sek was very helpful and attentive. Food came quick and had plenty of great options to choose from.

As a seasoned bruncher it’s rare to find a bottomless brunch where the food and drinks are equally as good and Tampopo knocked it out of the park! As soon as the pitcher was empty the staff would immediately come over to take another order! We had the bang bang steak and eggs and beef udon which were both delicious. Extremely happy, thank you Tampopo and your lovely staff 😊

Brilliant place for a casual but special meal or just a quick pop-in. Good vibes although we were tucked away in a corner so didn't feel the full bustle of the place. Great decor, amazing food and brilliant service. Sea Bream was particularly tasty (nb comes with the head but they'll cut it off if you're averse to that). Also amazing edamame with chilli garlic, soy and honey glaze.

Wasn’t too busy in here on a great 3pm but Frankie, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Had the Thai green chicken curry @ wasn’t too spicy, drinks were good (mai tai & ice tea), a good time overall!

Myself and my wife visited for her Birthday for a meal on Sunday 20th April after goggling restaurants in the area and we are so glad we choose this one.from the minute we were seated our server Andrea was so helpful and pleasant going through the extensive menu even bringing a sauce from the kitchen for me to try that I hadn't heard of..I asked for Sea Bream and Andrea warned me it was very spicy but if I didn't like to spicy she would ask the chef to ease up on the spice which indeed he did and it was an absolute beautiful choice .and my wife chose chicken Pad Thai which she throughly enjoyed then we had banana waffle with ice cream to share to finish of a truly fantastic meal with the help and guidance of Andrea greatly appreciated ..we will definitely be back

Very good restaurant, we were very well received and pampered by Sek. Interesting menu, well presented and tasty dishes. Restaurant with very nice decor. Crowded and therefore a little noisy. In any case, a very good culinary experience. And congratulations for this care given to the customer!

User food was so delicious! The children had a children's meal. The request for more sauce was also immediately fulfilled. We had great food. The sharpness was great! Definitely not our last visit!

The staff are absolutely wonderful!! Would highly recommend coming to this place, the food is amazing… speed of service, being sat and taking orders was so seamless. Would highly recommend ordering the pork gyozas and spring rolls!

Appalling service, good food, ultimately not worth going to again. As a group of three we had booked for pre theatre - there was no need to book. This is a very casual place with happy hour. Most tables were empty, and yet we waited 45 minutes to have our drink order taken at 6 pm. There were about 6 staff milling about drying dishes, but nobody seemed to be waiting table (or at least doing so effectively). Very poor management. When a staff member did come to our table there was hardly enough time to ask questions or take an order, they were in such a hurry, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We finally placed our food order and food eventually came out which was very nice indeed. They ‘were out’ of the Sichuan pork belly, but the Bali pork belly was delicious. My pad Thai was delicious, and my husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. The starter came out after the main, after some questions about it. My kid’s food never came out, so I started to hang out by the kitchen area. The one person in the restaurant who seemed to care (the manager?) noticed and asked what was wrong. He then informed me that the ramen ‘wasn’t available’ and seemed surprised that none of the several waitstaff has told us. He worked quickly to get a new order (keep in mind that we were almost finished with our food) and delivered it straight away, along with two free cocktails. He was so nice, I just felt bad that he was literally running the place on his own! The icing on the cake was that two friends of the waitstaff were sat behind us and got THE most attentive service from all the waitstaff - whilst we were struggling to get drinks and food, or even get the waiter’s attention, they were being brought bottles of fizz and snacks. Overall, no way would we go back, given how many decent places there are in this area. But I do appreciate the work the manager was doing in trying to make up for his completely useless team. What a shame!

While half of the place was empty they kicked us out saying this place is "booking only". Next available slot was 1 hour later. I wouldn't write this review if the place was actually busy. Glad that there are plenty restaurants available in the area and not coming back here because of that ridiculous customer service.

Walked in without reservation on a Saturday eve, nice find! Delicious food and cool vibe

First time visit...and it was a mediocre affair. While the service is good in terms of staff being polite and friendly...my choice of hot tea was not available...and so I was offered a different one. But to add insult to injury they charged me for both teas. And they didn't note the starter we wanted. And the food took an age to come out. And the restaurant was far too noisy as they seem to squeeze as many tables/covers in as possible into not a really big space. So only good if all you want to do is sit there in silence with your friends and eat. The nasi goreng rice was rather spicy too...it's not supposed to be spicy. Dishes aren't particularly big...note the picture...the prawn crackers cover a quarter of the plate (prob intentional to keep costs low). Other than this ..it was a great meal 🤣 Would not recommend! ❌

The service at lunchtime was not very good, we had to wait a long time and they forgot my Vietnamese coffee. However, the food is super delicious. I had the tonkatsu ramen and it was very good. My colleagues had the katsu curry and they said it was very good. I would happily go back again

Came here on a Thursday evening with a reservation for two, greeted and shown to a booth table as soon as we walked in. We started with a friendly female server who asked if we’d been before and when we said this was our first time she took us through what the menu means (grey box means popular items, allergens QR code at the bottom, curry and wok dishes need rice or noodles ordered with it and drinks on the back), which was helpful. By the time it came to taking our order we were served by Lorenzo instead, who gave me recommendations when I asked, drinks came quickly. Starters came with the main which I thought was not ideal because there was no break/breather between the sharing platter and our mains with sides and I ended up eating my mains at the same time as the starter so it wouldn’t go cold before I was ready. The food was hot and tasty, the pork belly in the sharing platter was marvellous crispy skin and meat was melt-in-the-mouth, the kimchi cucumber salad was fresh and flavourful; the Singapore laksa noodle soup was spicy but not too much so still plenty of flavour (might have been better if the lime was already squeezed in as it gets messy once it’s soaked in the spicy coconutty soup). We did have to ask for the menu back for dessert rather than offered and it did take a long time to arrive (>30 mins for a waffle and a few scoops of sorbet), and from the smaller selection of desserts relative to savoury dishes the main menu seems to be their focus (which is done very well!). Mango sorbet tasted like real mango and was smooth and sweet. Asked for the bill which was promptly provided and when I asked if they do student discount I was pleased to hear they did and the new receipt showed a 20% discount! Also given a card after paying with the waiter’s name requesting a review, I had planned on doing one anyway but this gave me the prompt and a name to our waiter. Definitely would return here again, I love the broad selection of dishes they have from different cuisines (Japanese, Singaporean, Thai, Indonesian…) and how tasty they were as well as the interesting offering of homemade soft drinks.

Really lovely team who went out of their way to look after us and cater for our allergies.

I wanted to like this place, but I left thinking I will most likely never come back. The server was nice, but we waited a very long time just for someone to take our drink order. By that time we were ready to order food so we ordered both. Even with a not crowded restaurant, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks. We had perhaps two minutes before our food arrived. Through our time, the servers were often no where to be seen. When jt was time to get our bill, we waited at least 20 minutes to spot a server, ask for bill, then ask to pay. On to food and drinks. Cocktails were terrible. They were so sugar sweet we could not drink them. Our table got a few different drinks and not one was drinkable. All of our cocktail glasses were full when we were finish and our server never once asked how we were doing or if they were ok Food, was just ok. The stir fry sauce was very heavy. I am pretty sure the rice noodles they served me were wheat, and two items came out room temperature. There is so much better similar food in the area that I won’t be back.
