The best restaurants serving Asian food in Brighton and Hove South East

I wanted to treat my Vegan Daughter for a light lunch and she suggested we try this little place tucked away in a side street in Hove. I'm not a vegan but definitely a Thai and can only say what delicious food we had. The taste is 101 % Thai home-cooked with a special mention to the Papaya Salad ( Som Tam ). So good, so moreish. Give me more !! Won't be long before I'm back there again to try the rest of the menu and the Special dishes of the day.

It is a great place for comfort food. Generous portions and delicious flavors! I would personally recommend the bibimbap!

I was looking for a bubble tea and found this place in Brighton, the lady in the shop recommended a traditional milk tea with mango jelly, I thought it sounded a bit weird but tried it. It was absolutely delicious. I also got a tropical fruit tea which was refreshing and yummy. Highly recommend!

Love this place so much, they have amazing dim sum that you can just eat there and if you love what you eat, you can buy it for your freezer. The staff are so lovely and there is so many different groceries you can buy too.

A truly authentic experience focusing on flavour. Great atmosphere and owners, and a menu to cater to anyone that walks through the door. Highly recommend

Incredible food, comfortable seating and friendly staff. Satay Chicken Dish was absolutely incredible . Will be definitely coming back for that soon. PadThai was really good too, one small thing I’d say is it felt a little bit dry more than I’d like it, not the best PadThai I’ve had but still really good! Thank you.

We had a wonderful meal here. I took us a while to find the restaurant because it’s in the bar the brick but after a confusing start we were show to our seat by a friendly member of staff. Wine was good food fantastic. I will dream of those mutton rolls forever. If you’ve never tried Sri Lankan food this is a really good place to start. The staff were attentive even bring money back that we excellently over paid. It makes me want to go back to Brighton just to eat here again.

This lovely Thai restaurant is simply amazing. The food is super delicious the staff are very kind and friendly. My friend had a birthday party for 11 of us and we all had a brilliant evening. What a wonderful little gem in Kemptown, Brighton.

Absolutely delicious food, to visit again

Mi marido y yo vinimos aquí hace unos años y nos encantó la sopa, así que visitamos de nuevo la semana pasada, esta vez con mi hija de 2 años. La sopa estaba deliciosa y la señora que trabajaba allí era tan amable con mi hija. Ella ayudó a mi hija con su libro de pegatinas mientras estábamos comiendo, lo que nos dio a mí y a mi esposo la oportunidad de comer un poco de nuestra sopa sin tener que concentrarse en mi hija al mismo tiempo. Recomendamos a nuestra familia con quién estábamos fuera y todos visitaron al día siguiente y estaban contentos con sus comidas también.

La comida es increíble, el servicio es genial. Tuve un montón de currys, probé un Biryani por primera vez, recomiendo encarecidamente. No estoy seguro de que obtendrá una mejor relación calidad-precio por £ 10. 00 .

[MOONSTONE] offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. The menu has a great variety, and the dishes are well-seasoned and satisfying. Service was prompt, and prices are reasonable for the quality. A great spot for a casual meal! MOONSTONE is the restaurant in Brighton.

The Bali Brasserie has a longstanding reputation. I was looking forward to a quiet evening with my partner. But the only table for two was located in a corner right next to the buffet table and next to an unending queue of diners. It was very noisy. Hardly a romantic spot! The buffet menu seems rather overpriced.

Upon walking in, the waitress was incredibly kind and served us so nicely. When the food was ready, there wasn’t any napkins or knifes and forks as we were getting a takeout. We then asked the other waitress if we could please get napkins and knifes and forks. By this point she was talking with her friends and had been from The time we walked in. She then gave us a cold look and seemed really annoyed that we asked her something while she was talking with her friends. She then replied and said ‘ we just got chopsticks ‘ . The food portions are incredibly small and the taste was quite bland. For a restaurant it seemed a little weird that they only had chopsticks as we don’t know How to eat with chopsticks and I’m sure not everyone does either so we struggled to eat our food. Will not be going back.
