Homely, halal and hygienic food. Very impressed with the hospitality and kindness of the hostess and clean kitchen. Thank you for welcoming us and feeding us late in the evening even you were closed.

Great food, very affordable especially for central Brighton, and delicious vegan options. Very sweet owners, we had a lovely chat! Hit the spot.

A friendly pair run this rather primitive (authentic) Bangladesh/Indian eatery. We were staying nearby and found them on Google maps with good reviews - we were surprised when we arrived that the place is very small and not really well-presented. However the owners were very helpful and positive - ven to the point of going out to find one of our requested drinks (salt lassi rather than their own mango flavur) . The food was reasonable but not great - onion bhajis were large and pan-flied - not deep fried as usual - so became quite dense. Vegetables were generally overcooked and the spices were mild - maybe set up for a local audience which does not prefer stronger? Had a good chat with the staff and altogether not a bad experience!.

Visited today and had spectacular food. Missed the taste of my home food and this did not disappoint! The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and really add to the experience due to their friendliness. Will definitely be visiting again in the foreseeable future.

You can tell they are very honest people who cook delicious food from the heart. Support this local business. They even sell some shelf items! What could be better than a place like this. Phenomenal… The food was phenomenal. Good portions, friendly owner and calming atmosphere. It felt as if I was right back home with my family. 5/5 would recommend. I have visited again since to their other location and it was equally as impressive.

Mohammed was friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent, authentic home-style food. We had the mixed veg with dal and rice and a lamb biryani which my wife, who is from India, enjoyed so much she is still thinking about it the day after! Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again.

The place might look very simple but the food is homelike. Loved the lamb biryani.

Cool pub with a totally vegan menu, featuring mainly hot dogs though. Too bad there aren't burgers as well. The hod dog was good, the loaded fries as well, but not the best I ever had. My friends liked the kebab, even though they tound it a bit spicy. Portions are very big and the staff is very friendly.

Fantastic takeaway. I had chicken vindaloo with basmati rice. The spices were amazing. The chunk's of chicken were tender. The lovely lady at reception gave me two fresh chipatis to eat with my meal. I'll definitely try eating in the restaurant in the future.

Proper home cooked Bangladeshi food and Goan food. My favorite dishes Chicken Jalfrezi and lamb samosas. You won't get better anywhere else in Brighton.
