It is a great place for comfort food. Generous portions and delicious flavors! I would personally recommend the bibimbap!

Great tasty food and perfect to grab a quick healthy lunch. Owner is really lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something more exciting than a sandwich.

I confess I'm surprised Korpan hasn't been reviewed before. It's been there for a while in one of the units at Brighton's Open Market, off London Rd. This was our first visit. We've never been before as they have some fierce competition in the neighbouring Greek and falafel places in adjacent units. But we've been saying for a long time we'd try it and glad we finally have. It was particularly great for us as there are tables under cover of the market so we were able to take the dog and it's rare for Asian restaurants to be dog friendly. The lady who owns or manages the place was extremely friendly and came to chat and even brought treats for the hound. The menu is simple with Japanese ramen and Korean noodles plus rice and dumpling dishes. We shared some delicious vegetarian dumplings. And we both had Korean noodles which come with a choice of veggie/vegan/chicken/beef and in spicy or non-spicy options. The spicy chicken and spicy tofu were both excellent with a lovely mix of meat/tofu with noodles, herbs, vegetables, etc. And an excellent broth base. Superb, simple food in decent portions at a great price in a basic "street food" setting. We will definitely be back.

A truly authentic experience focusing on flavour. Great atmosphere and owners, and a menu to cater to anyone that walks through the door. Highly recommend

Surely the best veggie steamed buns and dumplings in the city! The shop is great but I always have to sit down and get something while I’m there.

We had a wonderful meal here. I took us a while to find the restaurant because it’s in the bar the brick but after a confusing start we were show to our seat by a friendly member of staff. Wine was good food fantastic. I will dream of those mutton rolls forever. If you’ve never tried Sri Lankan food this is a really good place to start. The staff were attentive even bring money back that we excellently over paid. It makes me want to go back to Brighton just to eat here again.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Suriyas Thai definitely deserves one. I placed a collection order, and within just 10 minutes, they called to let me know it was ready. Normally, that might raise a red flag, but this was hands down the freshest, most delicious Thai food I’ve had in England. Every bite was packed with flavor, one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
