Really nice tasty food, full of flavour and colour, people are super friendly and is located next to the level park, perfect for summer days, they do vegan and veggie options too!!

Came for lunch with my husband and son. It’s rough and ready, as is the manner of the owner, but the food is authentic and so are the people. They were attentive and generous in their treatment of us and we really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely return next time we’re in Brighton.

My partner and our baby went to have lunch there a week ago . The place is family owned and has a total deal of Indian street food . There is no stress no corporate atmosphere. My baby wanted milk , my partner said I’ll go and buy some from the shops but the lady owner offered some and even heated it up for us . The food was lovely ! The samosas were so true to what I had when visited India . The main was a little bland for us , yes still lovely and the baby totally demolished it . I will definitely return , for more ! 💓🙏🏻

A hidden treasure and our favourite place in Brighton to eat! We come here whenever we need a pick-me-up and the food is always incredibly delicious. I had a delicious vegetarian lunch here - super creamy yet also fresh tasting. The woman who served me was happy to accommodate my gluten free diet by swapping bits of the lunch menu around for me, and was incredibly friendly when serving me in the cafe. A warm treat for a hungry belly. Would recommend!

The proprietors were really friendly, the menu was detailed. The decor is unpretentious. The food is really good value! And what food, we both had a lamb curry, cooked slowly (and never boiled, the chef explained) the lamb was melt in the mouth- delicious! I have never tasted a samosa so good! For a starter we shared an onion bhaji- so tasty so moist Drinks I had a really sweet chai and my wife enjoyed a sweet lassi - mango. I will definitely be taking my friends and family back here, and soon

The food is incredible. There is no gee in the food and it’s all about healthy eating, but the taste is the thing. An infusion of flavours and the best samosas I’ve tasted anywhere. The ‘lunchbox’ at £6.50 is excellent value. I had spinach, lentils, rice, squash and a samosa. All served with the sunniest of smiles. A wonderful place for lunch.

No frills but super tasty food, we had lamb. Felt more like an authentic taste and experience than a lot of other restaurants in town and we arrived by bike so we’re able to sit outside with them.We will be back to try more of the menu

Every time I come here I receive outstanding food. The people who work here are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Mohammed is such a lovely person! Such a great welcome to his little cafe and shop. His food is simple, but authentic and delicious. He deserves lots of customers.

Fantastic samosas and great bhaji, our family always visit when we come to the Open Market. The bhaji is huge and will feed you for a long time. Also my favourite samosas, just like my Mothers. The price also is excellent for value.

The prawn curry had a few prawns swimming in a very thin sauce that tasted of a mildly spiced passatta. The vegetable curry comprised of tinned vegetables in the same sauce as the prawns. The rice and naan were ok.

Visited for a late lunch with my friend who'd recommended the place. Had both the Goan lamb curry and the vegetable curry; were able to take our leftovers home in one of the take out boxes. Received some complementary extras too. All of which was delicious. Also very good chai and mango lassi.

We visited this place, walking back from the pier, a bit tired and in need of refreshing Masala Tea. Our eyes were caught by these precise words on the menu, while passing by the Open Market. The tea was refreshing and so was the courtesy shown by Mohammed. It was getting a bit late in the evening but they did not show any hurry and offered us complimentary samosas as well. The samosas were tasty and a bit different from those you would normally get in the UK.

Poppadoms was burnt lamb bhuna was far to spicey to eat nann breads were very dry I've used this takeaway for 11 years so disappointed going to have to find a new one

The kebab was lovely I like a lot of salad and it was a bit skimpy on the salad other than that it was yummy it was hot and they delivered earlier than they said so that was really good too will definitely be ordering from them again
