The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

4 of us had delicious food and great hospitality meal early Friday evening, being looked after by Has.

The young man who served our entire table of 14 guests from the UK, US and Japan deserves five-stars (I wish I could remember his name); however, Management is another story… My husband was celebrating a landmark birthday as well as our second wedding anniversary according to Punjabi custom. We were dressed in traditional attire, ready to celebrate, and prepared to spend a great deal of money on what we expected to be a private room reserved for the night to midnight, which he had discussed and negotiated, or so we thought, and were told that Management would take care and leave all to them; infamous last words. When we arrived in three separate vehicles during the timeframe discussed, we arrived to a packed house and three separate parties going on at the same time in the private room we believed we had reserved. The Manager tried to give the excuse that we were late and every other excuse. They crammed us into a long table with barely elbow room, no menu finalization discussed (they just started bringing out dishes), plates were wet, we had to continuously ask for water refills, drinks were not taken, and we walked out with a bill of 500+. Nothing was organized. Everything was a mess. The atmosphere was loud and place chaotic. We could not execute any part of our plan. My husband felt completely disrespected, my mother-in-law was beside herself and told the gentleman so in Urdu. The Manager suggestion that he would “take care of us next time” we return was completely inappropriate and laughable to think that we would return and would not share our experience. This was a dishonor… We discourage anyone wanting to celebrate an occasion or have an authentic Punjabi cultural experience at this contemporary westernized restaurant.

It was good visiting taste of Lahore… we were welcomed by Madhukar on the door and then he was the one serving us… He was really good and helpful at the same time…. Very calm and soft spoken person… we would definitely visit again…

Famous fried dumplings. Sweet and sour pork stone pot bibimbap~~ It's really delicious^^ The staff are also friendly and satisfactory.

I go to a lot of buffets but I can proudly say that this is my favourite out of all the ones I have been to. It is not often you come across a buffet where the cleanliness is top notch but this restaurant really stands out. I have visited twice now and both times, all the cutlery, plates and bowls are cleaned to a high standard which makes such a difference. It is clear they take hygiene and presentation seriously so that was something I really appreciate. We opted for the buffet priced at £33 per person and honestly it was totally worth it. They also have a lunchtime buffet for £17 but it does not include the BBQ section. If you want to experience the full range, I highly recommend going for the £33 buffet. The selection of food is fantastic. You will find all the usual favourites like rice, fried rice, japchae, chicken wings, sushi rolls, soups, kimchi pancake and vegetables. While everything was delicious, what really stood out to me was the meat section. You get the opportunity to cook your own meats on the BBQ right at your table and it is easy to use. The meats were so tender and flavourful. There was a good variety including lamb, pork, chicken, pork sausages and even seafood. The BBQ aspect really makes this place special and it adds to the overall fun dining experience. I actually came here about three years ago and I am happy to say that the quality has remained consistent. In fact it is just as amazing as I remembered. The attention to detail in both the food and the dining environment is impressive and I can tell that the restaurant has maintained high standards over the years. As for dessert, it is a simple selection but satisfying. There is a selection of ice cream flavours from chocolate, strawberry and vanilla with a few cake options to choose from. It is not overly extravagant but it is the perfect way to end the meal. The staff here are wonderful; they were very polite, attentive and service minded. They make sure you are well taken care of throughout your meal which definitely enhances the overall experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed; with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that makes it an enjoyable place to spend time with friends or family. You can also purchase drinks for an additional charge which gives you some flexibility if you want to add something to your meal. Overall, I can confidently say that this place is one of my favourite buffet spots and I would definitely return. If you are a fan of buffets, especially ones where you can enjoy grilling your own meat, then this is a must visit. I highly recommended.

Spent 30 pounds of food from here!! I've not got all night to type on herexgo through my experience but one thing I will draw on is the chicken madras!! Absolutely awful, chicken tasted cheap, the madras sauce was like water!! Very disappointed

Big portions, some unusual dishes, tasty and good service

Would've been much higher but unfortunately spent ages waiting on a gentle man in a white t - shirt who turned out out to be the manger from r our collection, food as a result was cold so was disappointing due to the money spent

A visit with friends during Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. The restaurant was kinda In between fasting and celebrating, so quiet, but the service was still top drawer. Made to feel very welcome, the food was delicious, the music was ambient and appropriate; a really lovely place to visit.

.drove from Nottingham for this place not impressed Lamb chops and chips was nice rest of Food was very basic curry was nothing like what u would expect to have in the middle of Birmingham no authenticity, tasted like something you’ll have in a village where no body knows anything about Asian cuisine Place needs to fix up. Heard a lot of good things about this place it’s been around since 80’s

Great view of canal and boats, un the middle of a commercial area but plenty of customers and lots eating the food is simple if you want it like Baked spud with Chili or beef filling was really good. There are also more complex dishes on menu depending on what you fancy. Parking outside and the staff were really friendly. They have a great legacy for live music every Saturday from 9pm onwards. Great big name bands, I saw SMOKEHOUSE on the band board for a gig 5th April, they are a top class band. I would reccomend this pub for almost any age group and sensibilities as a really good experience.
