Ordered the Mix grill special for £65 and it was more than enough between the 3 of us. Everything was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent

We went for a family meal, expecting good food due to the restaurant's extensive menu. However, the experience was disappointing. The burgers were raw, and when we complained, the manager absurdly claimed that the red color was because beef is red meat. The cheesy chicken with keema was inedible, and the lasagna keema tasted very old. The cheesy chips were drenched in a tangy cheese sauce that was terrible. Overall, the food and service were both bad.

I recently dined and had a delightful experience. The lamb shoulder and curry were tasty, showcasing the chef's culinary prowess. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall positive impression. While the food and service stood out, it was a satisfying culinary journey, and I look forward to returning.

Loved it - food was very tasty.

Very poor service. Food quality was terrible. Ordered the premium cheese stuffed burger and got given a very basic 99p burger with a 10p cheese slice on top. When asked the staff about this they said the cheese melted inside the burger.. what a poor response! Would never go back again.

An absolute amazing place to eat. I absolutely love grilled food and this place was the perfect place. We ordered the classic cheese burger, spicy grill burger, chicken masala with rotis and lamb seekh kebabs. I couldn't fault the food. All the food was grilled to perfection. The customer service was good. The aesthetics of the place was really good. Loved the rickshaw on the ground floor . I would say value for money and a good place to take out the family for a meal. 10/10

The food is good just slightly spicy if you aren't a big spice eater. So just request the staff to spice the food to your liking. The service was great and very polite.

This review is only for some grilled chicken I ordered on Uber eats. I got it with the hot and fiery flavour and it was really tasty. Wish it was served with salad and sauces, was especially missing a nice garlic mayo.

Placed an order through just eat which never arrived, order status sat at being prepared for 2 hours. Rang the restaurant and was told it’s not our problem it left with a driver a bit ago. Whether it’s your fault or just eats I ordered from your restaurant so surely a little courtesy wouldn’t go a miss after you have kept a customer waiting 2 hours. If you trust these guys to deliver you should be prepared to help when they make a mess of it. Poor

Regular customer food was nice as usual however waiters have not got a clue on orders for example we required a extra portion of chips but did not get it on our table after waiting more than 20mins for it so we decided to cancel it also they have stopped accepting cards for which they should put a sign at the front so ppl know its cash only service is poor for the price, went on 07/01/2024 after 4years unfortunately the place has gone downhill drastically luke warm food small portions used to be a great place, but please avoid this place like the plague, went with my wife place was empty which says it all

Ordered for home delivery. Dhesi grill used to be one of the best grilled places in Bradford BUT NOT ANYMORE! Ordered chicken seekh kebabs on Nan and a masala fish burger. Kababs were like rubber and tasted like frozen ones you get from the supermarket. The Nan was more like pitta bread and also rubbery. The fish burger had hardly any fish in it and the fries were soggy. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food was good! Well presented and tasted nice. Portions across the board were decent sized. What let them down was several items of the menu were not available. They had no beef burgers wagyu or Angus. No coleslaw and several ice cream flavours were missing! The staff are friendly and attentive. Would return and try again did enjoy our experience and food!

I oder food at 7:00 and they said it’s gonna be more the an hour when I call back at 8:30 they say driver is on his way call them 9:00 they said driver just left 5 minutes ago. The guy who deal with me over the phone is so rude and didn’t even apologise they lie to you about there delivers and no only that they don’t even admit that they are wrong .

Absolutely amazing night excellent food excellent service can’t fault them at all, the waitresses were very professional, and the managers were very professional too, quality food takes time and I agree with this everything that came on the table was fresh and very tasty. I took my family of 20 tonight on my sons 20th birthday and I was very happy with the service , my family loved every bit of their meals , this is one restaurant that I have found to do lots of variety of food and something for everyone , I recommend this restaurant to everybody , and on your visit sit back and relax and let them serve you the world famous Grilled food made from scratch also the desi curries, the atmosphere was beautiful and the decor was really nice, very cosy very relaxing it’s made my day and thank you very much to all of you for making this night very special for me and my son definitely will return. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🙏 Kind regards Alam

Oh my, I don't usually leave reviewes but the food here was extremely bad, really really bad. Clearly those who enjoyed it don't get fed well at home. Avoid at all cost! When addressed with the manager his attitude was disgusting. I wish I could rate this in its minuses!!

Love this place food is nice and very tasty service is very prompt and they bring sauces and water without asking. When you enter the restaurant, you feel like you are eating abroad. Really great place.

Worst food place we have ever been to the food was disgusting!!! Rubbish service, we did not like the food and the staff refused to replace it for something else, the portion size were also small. we will never be going back here, the restaurant needs closing down. Paid £22 for 2 lamb kebabs. Takeout. Local takeaway does them better at half the price. Not very nice at all. Very disappointing.

I came here with family, and the food wasnt good at all, i asked for mild curry for the kids but gave us hot, and said thats how our mild currys are, my kids didn’t even eat… the management are really rude… stay away, there are much more better places in bradford to spend your money and enjoy your food.

Just discovered this driving up Lilly croft Road. As you walk into the restaurant you are met with delectable looking meats ready for the grill. Its pretty enticing. Looks beautiful. We were greeted by Israr. The masala fish was lovely but didnt quite match up to the hype as you would think. I would have expected the seekh kebabs to be out of this world but they were average . The gem in the restaurant is Israr. His attention to detail leaves no stone unturned. He's extremely good at his job. We would return only because he was fabulous attentive . A brilliant waiter. The masala fish, perhaps would have been better with a bit more masala. The meals on the other tables looked delicious. So we decided we need to come back again. The menu is both diverse and extensive. We tried the movenpick ice cream. The strawberry tasted like pepto bismol and the vanilla was not disappointing. Will come back again..its definitely worth considering

The service was very good. Dynamite chicken was good. Wish the portions were a bit more. I ordered Cheesy Frangano. It was delicious. However, the portion was not great. Lost a star for the portion size. Otherwise, 5 star 🌟 .

Anyone giving this restaurant a good rating, their parents obviously fed them donner and chips three times a day. The food was disgusting, and the attitude of these people is horrible. There was hair in my food, missing parts of my order and rude staff. I dont know a single person that has good things to say.

Got a summer saver half chicken but the chicken was full if yellow fat.Some may like it that way I didnt.I should have opted for the lamb bukhara which was ordered by my friend.I wouldn't rider that chicken again but may try the lamb.

Nice flavoursome grilled chicken could do with a little more sauce but overall was spot on. Very nice of the owner trying his upmost best to keep customers happy with rush of uber eats offer orders.

Stopped going here as no longer enjoy. Poor trained staff, only accept cash and on my last visit I took family somewhere else . When cash is used less, these ppl are making diners pay in notes! Guess it's easier to avoid some tax issues..food is not great and portions not justified compared to costs. Plenty of better restaurants out there, and who still have a card machine 😆

I booked a table for 10 for my Mums and Dads birthday.The food itself was ok, the mix grill was very bland- wouldn't recommend, however the curries was nice. The service is absolutely appalling. The waiter who had seen to us, looked like he was forced to be there- straight face, moody, shouldn't be put in front of customers. When the food arrived, the mix grill was served on a cold plate, so the food itself was very cold when we ate it. Before we could even finish eating, the waiters started clearing the table- which was extremely rude. After they had cleared the table, we asked the waiter to bring the cake out (which we had given at reception upon arrival) and we asked for it to have candles on, but was served the cake all bashed up in the box. Was absolutely disgraceful with how there was no enthusiasm, nor any energy and effort given from the waiters. Wouldn't recommend, unless you want a dull experience.

Impeccable food,meat cooked to perfection. Clean and tidy good service everyone working at their own pace but it’s good to see. The prices were very cheap for the quality of the food! Only disappointment is that the waitress wouldn’t take any tips when we would of loved to give back to her Thank you guys

Placed an order on Uber Eats tor a box meal which was on offer originally £50+ but half price. I assumed at that price getting two of the meals should be plenty for a small family. When it arrived the portion was unbelievably tiny. How on earth can they justify charging that much for a burger, small portion of chips, handful chicken and little grill!!! I had to place another order. Very disappointed and will certainly not be ordering again.

Family and I absolutely love coming to the place. Foods and service are impeccable. The waiters can't do enough to make sure you are comfortable and good always arrives on time and is great! Favourite place to dine in Bradford.

I ordered from here before food has been okay on occasions, but after today I will never order again from here absolutely pisstake got the wings wrong an tried telling me how they look, manager hides in the back cannot accept fault, delivery takes over 2 hours, they send the Uber driver away and send they own driver when it suits them, an the rice was stale, unprofessional the way they speak after you try being reasonable with them, had missing items when told to bring them took them over an hour to bring it not worth it at all spend your money elsewhere ya rather spend money on all your family an take them to mc Donald’s

This is 1 of my top 3 restaurants in bradford .. the food is always fresh and tasty , staff is friendly and welcoming . If you have not visited yet your deffo missing out

The service here was very nice. The atmosphere was something else. Really enjoy coming here and the food is delicious. Lovely waiter Israr went out of his way. Him and his friend naseeb both bring a lovely vibe. Well done lads

I discovered Desi Grill in 2007 and it is the only restaurant I have ever been to where the food is as high a standard as what you would make at home. The service is also excellent whether you dine in, get a take away or use the delivery option. This was often the go-to take away for me after leaving work at 6pm in a place nearby. Maybe I started to go too often but I was able to make healthy choices because much of the food here is grilled (and at that time they didn't do so many desserts). I switched to home delivery after December 2011 and have used this since. It can get expensive here but I would rather get a high quality Desi Grill take away once a week than several unhealthier cheaper ones from elsewhere containing highly processed ingredients. My favourite curries here are the Nihari and Butter Chicken. But by far, the best thing on the menu is the salmon-an excellent source of Vit D and healthy omega 3 fats (that will help the Vit D absorb) . Salmon is easy to overcook but is always done to perfection here with just the right amount of seasoning but not too much to overpower the flavour of the fish.

Came to Dhesi grill from bolton to try something new and i can say i wasnt dissapointed although the restaurant was very busy me and my family were seated quickly and service was on point Manager in the fleece was very helpful on what to order and even gave us some proper dhesi tea on the house for the journey back to bolton what a place!!

Came in with family , atmosphere was great , friendly staff , give the food a solid 9 out of 10 , would recommend this especially if you are going out as a family

Great variety of quality grilled food. Desi touch decor has a full size Pakistani raksha photobooth which was so cool. Really fancied a mixed grill and they had all the options we wanted. We enjoyed the food and good service.

Me and my wife decided to visit Desil Grill , we were looking for a place that offers both pakistaani dishes and a decent steak. The service was great from the very begining to the point we left. We ordered a chicken Masala and it tasted as good as many other known places. I was very pleased. The lamb steak we ordered to be cooked to medium , however it as arrived as very well done. The manager on the floor was fantastic; he came straight to our table explained that it had been over cooked and offered another steak to be re-ordered. When the lamb steak arrived again it was cooked to perfection. Well done to the young Manager and to the team for recognising the importamce of customer satisfaction. I would most definately revist having recieved such a wondetful and welcoming service. Well done Desi Grill and keep Consistent

After many years decided to visit Desi Grill. The food used to be on point with good flavour and a uniqueness about it. But sadly I was let down, beautiful deco but bland n cold atmosphere even though there was a bit of nice flamboyant effect live fire 🔥 display done, that died out in 3 mins. The heat it gave helped thaw my frozen brain to think and order. I ordered a chicken shashlikh, as I saw the grills on display, I had seen a good sized portion so decided to order that as a main, little did I know I was only getting 4 tiny pieces with a few peppers n bit of salad for £6.95 i had to order an naan separately as a side for £2.80. Whoah!!! I could have fed the whole family with that price...lol Thats defo an over priced meal, most places would serve the chicken botis with naan or chips in the price. The restaurant was freezing I had my coat on all the time I was there. The last let down was the payment, they don't accept card machine so cash only, bank transfer option is available. Staff is friendly but management needs to improve the service. improve on portions and atmosphere, room temperature 🌡

I'm rating them 1star as we had a nasty experience. Firstly when we got there the heating was on absolute low setting, we changed our seating area but that made no difference. It was just sooo cold sat there my hands and legs had gotten numb. Then when our food arrived we were shocked by the baby portion sizes! I ordered chicken shashlick and there were literally 4 pea sizes chicken pieces scattered around the plate garnished with dried out salad! Defo won't be going there again, and so overpriced for the baby portions they give! 👎👎

Ordered a waffle it was not cooked properly tasted like cake. Chocolate fondue was cold and tasted odd Banoffee pie did not taste fresh at all.

Dhesi grill is a regular take out option for us as they offer food which caters for my son who has allergies to gluten and egg. The food has always been on point, we often get the wings, stir fry, lamb steak, chicken curry, prawn curry and chicken steak burgers to name a few and everything has been on point. The only issue I have is that the delivery times are too long no matter where we order either directly or via uber eats (as they don't use uber eats drivers). This is disappointing and let's the restaurant down as we have often waited a minimum of 1.5 hours and sometimes up to 2 hours for delivery. This is the reason for taking one star off.

They only take cash but then they don't have paper menu's, you have to go online to check the menu🤔, imagine you got no data or your phones dead... Anyway the toilet condition was appling and to Top it off the flush didnt work🤯... YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR TAP WATER BECAUSE ITS BEEN THROUGH A FILTER WHAT? I said I'll have the unfiltered water like i do everyday at home. Food was ok, service was good.

Bought a bihari kebab first time from this place. Very small portion for 8.95. No nan supplied with the kebab as you would normally expect from other places. Very expensive, not that tasty and insufficient for one person.

Have visited dhesi grill for many many years was abit of a hidden gem in Bradford back in the days but over the years has become more popular and well known. when I Have visited the food has been great but that’s in the past. In the more recent times I have been disappointed. Overall I feel like food quality has gone down hill at dhesi grill used to provide top notch dhesi food but with the new menu and lots of continental dishes it’s not the same. Personally I think if your calling your self dhesi then stick to the ‘desi’ concept. The selection for curries is only Karahis no variety what so ever. There’s more selection of burgers then there is curries. Also the portion size of the curries has gone smaller and the taste is none existent. We got the chicken tikka karahi definitely wouldn’t recommend. Did advise the staff of this but nothing was done. Also they have stopped taking card payment last 2/3 times I have visited and this is EXTREMELY inconveniencing. It’s 2022 and even ice cream vans have card machines so a restaurant like this can’t have a card machine ? It really really ruins the experience for me as I’m never one to have cash on me then they expect you to go get cash out definitely a reason I wouldn’t go infact in our most recent visit I was close to leaving but thankfully by chance we had cash. Atleast accept bank transfer or PayPal if your not doing card payments. Got a really dodgy stomach after visiting this recent time and so did my husband and he very rarely gets an upset stomach so we really won’t be visiting anytime soon at all.

Don’t know why people go to this place as the food is below standards. According to the name the place is a grill place so you would expect your food to be grilled and freshly served but not in my experience! We got reheated grilled starters which where awful ! For the mains we got 1 chicken curry 2 lamb curry’s which were so dry and just tasted like they have been boiled and had been mixed in a gravy of tomatoes. The food is vile and I would not recommend it. On top of the the prices are ridiculous for what you get. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced ! We told the waiter that the starters were reheated and cold to which he responded “oh is it” then laughed and walked away. They knocked £2 of the bill for the poor quality of food 😂 Don’t waste your time it’s disgusting!!

Always great food whether eating in or taking out

Ordered a family platter, it was quite small and would suit 3 people as opposed to 4. The seekh kebabs were very plain and lacked taste. The chicken was average. There was hardly any salad on the platter. Also ordered a chicken burger which was ok. The mango lassi was average. The service made this a 3 otherwise it would be a 4 star. The fact they charged for water was a bit cheeky.

What a beautiful restaurant. The food was amazing. I got lamb steak, it was Cooked perfectly. We also ordered T-bone steak & salmon fillet, bbq chicken wings. Everything was wonderful! The staff member Naz (Nazeem) was an excellent host. We came out with a mask to entertainer my daughter & did smoke bubbles on her drink. He checked on us all the time, made sure everything was good. He had a really good energy about him and made the experience even better. Defo will be coming back 10/10!
