What a great find! Wanting a brew and a sandwich on our way home from a weekend in Thirsk, we found La Stazione. On a lovely Sunday, this place was buzzing. The food and coffees were lovely, but the staff are definitely what makes this cafe special. It’s not often you find such a friendly, young staff who all seem to be enjoying their jobs, and they are all really good at them too! Will definitely be back…
Muy buen café italiano preparado. Excelente. El menú es amplio y una buena relación calidad-precio. Es posible comer en (asiento limitado) y pedir comida para llevar. Familia.
We googled a dog friendly café for our first visit to Ilkley and Daniels came up first with very good reviews so we looked no further. The food was very tasty indeed and there were things on the menu that were new to us.
The service was lovely and friendly. Oh and the coffee was very good indeed. We realised that Ilkley is not short of eateries but we were glad we weren’t distracted by anywhere else! Would definitely go again.
My wife and I went for the first time with our grandaughter who has learning disabilities and can be noisy - and her collection of Barbies! - needing somewhere to eat in the town centre and having seen previous good reviews.
The service was understanding and excellent, and the childrens and Italian menu very tasty and excellent value. We shall certainly return!

Knowing Plenty well we were ready for a stroll & slap-up lunch. We both had a delicious roasted onion & apple tart with the signature plenty salads. I had a plum toddy & we both had delicious dark woods lattes & I had a gf choc brownie. Perfect - time for a stroll to walk it off now!
Highly recommend visiting Emily's Friday Rustica Pizza night. Wish we had this back up in our wee home town. Staff are so welcoming and I could list so many descriptive words about how mouthwatering the pizzas are. Basically the best pizzas we have tasted. Great way to end our holiday and we will be back.
I have visited the cafe quite a few times for lunch with friends. On this occasion I took my husband for the Valentine's afternoon tea - his first visit.
The afternoon tea was absolutely superb - a lovely selection of savouries and cakes, tea and prosecco. The presentation was fantastic - both the food and table decorations. Maureen and all the staff were very welcoming and ensured we had a lovely time. Thank you so much!!
I will be back for lunch very soon. The usual lunch menu is also very good and reasonably priced. It is also great knowing that such a worthwhile charity benefits from this lovely little cafe.
Good food in a relaxed atmosphere above a local pub. He menu changes every month to a new “country”. So far I’ve tried Greek, Mexican and German. They were al excellent. Choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts. The food and the wine list are limited because the place is run by one, very talented, chef. The wines have all been delicious and each month they do a themed cocktail of the month. My wife assured me that these have been great as well. He restaurant opens Thursday to Sunday and I generally book via Facebook (you can phone as well)The food and wine are incredibly good value (£20 for three courses, £12-14 ish for the wine).Well worth seeking out
Stopped off whilst out walking and had a lovely bite to eat.Nice homemade food and cakes.Good value for money.Very friendly owner;unpretentious and welcoming. You could take your mother or your kids and know you'll all be looked after.
