Unexpected day off with hubby due to vehicle needing garage work, so we decided to go somewhere for brunch. This was the place which came up when searching 'nice cafe in Keighley'. What a great little place! Wasn't sure when we first went in, simply because we'd never been before & didn't think such a nice place would be in the centre of Keighley (no disrespect but town centres aren't usually known for nice cafes, more 'caffs'). It's decorated with lots of Italian memorabilia, & appears to be a busy well loved place. We ordered two breakfasts, one full, one with only chosen items, & a drink each, which came to around £17. Drinks came first - coffee was in a large Friends Central Perk cup , nice touch :) Only a few minutes later the food came, & was exactly what we wanted. Poached eggs were amazing! Decent portions, great food, lovely staff. Will definitely go again!

One of the many things my husband and myself miss during the past 11 months of lockdown for ourselves (as we are a high risk household) is not being able to come for our regular spaghetti and meatball lunches. The service and food are incredible every single time we visit no matter how busy the staff always had time to make everyone’s visit extra special. The food is always amazing and the prices are enough to keep anyone happy !!!!

We went here for lunch on Sunday, with my elderly Mum. The food was so tasty. Three of us had delicious pasta dishes, and Mum had a ham omelette which she really enjoyed. We felt so welcomed - we are not local to Keighley but had chosen to go to Antonio's Cafe due to the very good Tripadvisor reviews. We felt so welcome there and wish we had had time to stay for desert, but needed to be on our way. Thank you so much to everyone at Antonio's!

Had popped into keighley for a couple of bits and fancied a cappuccino but Costa was very busy ( long q ) and to be honest I’m not a great fan if there coffee . I normally go to coffee love in the market as really enjoy there cappuccinos but with it been a Sunday was closed . The other 2 coffee places in the Airedale centre were closed too with it been Sunday so decided to have a walk and came upon this place . Looks like a Italian restaurant from the outside the kind you would go for a romantic evening meal . Good prices £2.25 for a large cappuccino . We got 2 large cappuccinos a toasted current t cake and a tiramisu and it came to £7.85 . It would have cost me that in Costa for just the coffees . Looking at the menu could see the prices of meals were very reasonable too. Will definitely go again . Staff seemed friendly too .

Went out of our way to visit as we had had a very enjoyable lunch previously.I remember having lobster ravioli which was delicious. This time it was a Sunday around 3.50 pm .It was very quiet with only the owner and his family sat on a table having a chat.I wanted something warm but was told that food had stopped.I asked if they could do any sandwiches to which came the reply from the chef that he could do us ham .I just felt that we were getting in the way.At this time I didn't know what time it was closing.I ended up just ordering tea for 2.About 5 mins later the closed sign was turned around. This just triggered myself getting upset and deciding to leave having hardly drunk anything. They obviously wanted to get themselves off.To the owner I ask that you be more understanding in future as you know what a bad review can do for ones reputation.Yours still smouldering Steve.

This is no ordinary café - the Italian atmosphere runs throughout with delicious Italian specials available as well as traditional lunch options. All of the small touches are catered for and staff are exceptionally welcoming. We tried the spaghetti bolognaise which was divine as was the mozzarella Milanese. The dishes came with a generous side salad and service was quick. Prices were very reasonable and the food was great. We will certainly return.

We at least visit Cafe on the Square once a week for lunch as we love it there. The food is reasonably priced and are generous portions. The staff are the best part of the experience, all are extremely friendly and credit to the manager and Antonio (Which i believe is the owner) is always warm and welcoming and you can clearly see he genuinely cares, he is always jolly and always chatty and always ensures we are happy with our service. The cafe is so clean and modern and offers a decent selection of food including some signature Italian dishes as well as the classics such as Spaghetti. The toilets are very clean and are to a very high standard. Food always arrives fairly quickly even in peak periods and is always warm and fresh and you can even see it being cooked in the kitchen behind the counter. The owner should be very proud as him and his staff do a fantastic job.

In the absence of Mr W. and the boys, the girls and I decided to have lunch today before bargain hunting in the shops of Keighley. Miss B. was running late and so Miss N. and I decided to go for a coffee while waiting for her so we went to Cafe on the Square.A hidden gem in Keighley...Miss N. and I not only had a coffee but between ourselves decided that the "Specials" board menu was to good to turn down.A Latte and Mocha later Miss B. turned up and lunch was ordered. I opted for the Spagetti Carbonara, Miss N. eventually decided on the Lasagne with Garlic Bread and the late Miss B. asked for a breakfast, and although it was nearly 2 in the afternoon the gentlemen obliged. The pasta dishes were authentic Italian cuisine, the price exceptionally reasonable and the food can only be described as 'delizioso'.The little extra's provided by the staff, a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on my Carbonara, the extra sausage on Miss B's breakfast as she didn't want an egg and the fact that at one point I thought Miss N. was going to lick her Lasagne bowl clean all mean that not only will the Ladies that lunch be returning but Mrs W. will be bringing Mr W. and boys for a great lunch.Grazie Cafe on the Square,Ciao from the Ladies.

The saying has it that it's better to travel hopefully than to arrive, and on occasion this can be true. We had certainly travelled hopefully today on our third attempt to sample this attractive looking cafe; the first time we took a wrong turning and because of atrocious weather we went into another place about which least said the better. The second time was a Sunday, only to find it closed. So today we had high hopes, and we weren't disappointed. It was busy - always a good sign - but a table for two was just being vacated, so no waiting. The staff very quickly cleared and prepared the table, and we were impressed to see that this is a priority. It's counter service with a good range extending from snacks to full meals, and the queue was slowed a bit as some customers couldn't decide quickly. We opted for snacks today, one chip buttie and one cheese/onion toastie with a pot of tea and a cappuccino. The rapport begins with Antonio who has an aura of friendliness which quickly extends to strangers. There was a bit of a wait for the drinks, but no matter, as the cafe overlooks the town's main square through large windows, and the clientele is varied and interesting. The tea came in a good pouring (very important) pot and serves a good sized cup and allows a second; the cappuccino is well-flavoured and with the tea at £1.60 and coffee at £2.10 it's good value for money. When the food came Antonio offered various dressings. We opted for his own recipe Italian which enhanced our snacks. For the toastie I hadn't specified brown bread, so can't complain that I got white which is not my choice, but the filling was generous and tasty. The chip buttie was also served in a white teacake, but this was said to be very light in texture. Antonio came back as we finished and was needlessly apologetic for not talking to us a bit more, but the place was full and we had already remarked to each other how welcome we had been made. I'm sorry that we can't comment yet on the more serious food, but on the basis of this visit we will certainly be making other visits. Parking nearby is difficult, but car parks are only a short distance away. We'd used the bus today, and the bus station is just along the street.

Found this place by chance as we normally drive straight through Keighley on our way to Skipton. Went in about 12.15 on a thursday and had a real friendly bustle about the place, only 3 tables free. Only wanted a light lunch & had fishcakes with sweet chilli dip & chips whilst my wife had Parma ham & mozzarella pannini, both from specials board,Including 2 teas which came in a pot with hot water that gave easily 4 large cups of good tea the bill was £11.10, excellent value for what turned out to be very pleasant& prompt service. Very wide menu considering it is only a cafe, most of staff were Italian & very helpfull/friendly, would certainly stop off again on way through

They serve really good coffee. The pasta meals are excellent, perfectly cooked and flavoured and plenty of it. The price is amazing considering the pasta dishes are every bit as good and often better than quite a few restaurants in Yorkshire and further afield. The pasta menu isn't vast as this is a cafe but the quality is there. So for a cafe to take such care in their quality of pasta meals when they really could if they chose to just make their money from their sandwich, jackets and other common menu items which are also excellent value, is to be commended. The family atmosphere makes all the difference too, extremely professional and friendly staff. Keighley really is lucky to have this place and in such a lovely location overlooking the square whether drinking their good coffee or having a full pasta meal or something else from their good overall menu.

I visited on a weekday dinner to find a packed, lively cafe with a really mixed clientele. Luckily my colleague had pre booked a table, we'd have struggled otherwise. The coffee was spot on, the service faultless, and although the choice was a little limited for someone trying to cut out the carbs, the pasta meals looked hearty and super value for money. I went for the fishcakes with sweet chilli sauce and they were beyond what I'd expect in a Keefli caff, top notch! The proprietors were funny and friendly, really chatty and it all made for a really good little spot to grab a bite and a brew.

Went on a steam train this week and got off in Keighley. This place seriously lacks some eating places. We found this Cafe, not what we wanted would have liked something a bit more up market to tell the truth. We both ordered Spaghetti with Choritzo, mushrooms and tomatoes plus two bottles of water. The Spaghetti was £4.95, you pay more than that for a starter in most places. It was the best Spaghetti we have had for a long time. We have paid three times as much for less tasteful dishes. Every spoonful was a joy. The bill was around £12 and worth every penny. It was busy all the time we were there and we know why, it's good honest food at a cheap price..Try it.

Those who know Keighley will be aware that there has been a cafe/restaurant on Cook Street (opposite the taxi rank) for many years. This site was originally a bank then was converted into Nick & Len's cafe. Very popular.Nick and Len moved on to a new site and the old place became Little Italy. But after a while the owners decided that it wasn't for them and for about six months there was no cafe on Cook Street while the interior was ripped out and completely refurbished. But now its back as Cafe on the Square. The square referring to the Town Hall Square just across the road. The cafe is still feeling it's way in it's new incarnation. But it has been taken under the wing of Tony Gentile. Many will know Tony from his days at Mamma Napoli. He promises me that the new menu will include more home made Italian favorites, soup made the way it aught to be, not from a tin. I am a big pasta fan, so I look forward to the old dishes done in a distinctive style.Already there appears to be a steady increase in numbers of customers as people drift back, I feel that it is going to be a huge success and will once again become one of the most popular cafes in the town. So, call in and enjoy an espresso, latte or what ever takes your fancy. I can recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese, And don't forget to tell me how you enjoyed it.

The food was very nice and very reasonable prices. The service could have been a little better, the empty plates were left too long in between courses, and the waitress spilled the parmesan cheese on the table when adding it to my son's meal, and it was not cleaned off until after we left after dessert. We will go back though.
