Amazing food and great friendly staff. Parking is difficult however (this is beyond their control I might add) but still definitely worth a visit.

Came Xmas day and didn’t rate it unfortunately. The food was very average (turkey dinner) full of rowdy drunk families swearing and the staff although I can’t blame them really didn’t want to be there. It cost us £180 in total for three people with two drinks each I definitely will never eat out Xmas day again, would expect 5* evethtrying for this price. Also another note you’re meant to get two hours we were rushed off after an hour and a half and our starters were on the table as soon as we walked in not an enjoyable experience

Came here last night for my girlfriends birthday my first time dining here, was so good the staff were so nice and the food was amazing and came out which surprised me as it was so busy, will definitely be coming here again

Elegí Sambuca para tener el ‘cumpleaños especial’ de mi esposa debido a disfrutar tanto de nuestras visitas anteriores y el restaurante no decepcionó. Todos comentaron mucho que disfrutaron de sus comidas y pensaron que era una relación calidad-precio fantástica. Todo el personal era paciente y servicial. Gracias una vez más por ayudar a hacer que las celebraciones de cumpleaños de mi esposa sean tan grandes.

Llamamos aquí temprano un miércoles por la noche y no podía creer lo ocupado que estaba, probablemente debido a la gran relación calidad-precio del menú del curso en £ 11. 95 por dos platos. No habíamos reservado, pero tenemos suerte de que nos aprieten, aunque solo teníamos la mesa durante una hora y quince minutos. Pedí que empezara la ensalada de queso de cabra, mi compañero el cóctel de gambas y su padre las setas de ajo. Todos los titulares fueron buenos. Como plato principal tenía el risotto de pollo, mi compañero una pizza picante y su papá la lingüina de pollo. El risotto estuvo muy bueno, no es frecuente que te den uno picante y puede ser bastante soso pero esto estuvo muy bien. La pizza de mis compañeros se veía un poco descuidada en el medio para mí, me gustan más delgadas y crujientes, pero a él le gustó. Las bebidas también son baratas. Alrededor de las £ 5. 50 marcos por una copa de vino. El servicio fue excelente. A poco más de £ 50 por una comida para 3 con bebidas no puede equivocarse.

The food was very nice and very reasonable prices. The service could have been a little better, the empty plates were left too long in between courses, and the waitress spilled the parmesan cheese on the table when adding it to my son's meal, and it was not cleaned off until after we left after dessert. We will go back though.

Great food and great atmosphere. Well worth a visit but you beed to book as this place is in high demand. Had mushroom in garlic sauce fir starter and pollo stroganoff fir bsin. Hubby gsd pollo fiorentine. Tiramisu for desert goes without saying.

The food was OK until I received my tiramisu pudding. Besides supermarket tiramisu tasting better and this being mostly cream, a 2 inch piece of thin plastic was in the tiramosu. I told the waiter and he didn't even apologise. Said 'it's just cling film' and do I want another one. No thanks. Asked for a discount and it was my first time there but they said no.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time after recommendations. First impressions usually stick and so it was with the decoration. Scuffs on doors and unsightly skirting boards that need a lick of paint. I've been in cleaner cafes! If you're not fussed about what a customer sees then what is the state of the areas that aren't seen? However, although the quality of food was strictly average the service was attentive. Overall 3/5

Food is delicious here the staff are lovly always busy so the atmosphere is good and can not be beaten on price . Highly recommend .

This restaurant is always vibrant and full of people. One taste of the food and you'll understand why. The pizzas are wood oven fired and completely delicious. Pasta is all cooked to perfection. The tomato sauce you get with the meatball starter or with a calzone is drool inducing. It's so delicious you'll want to get your spoon and eat it. I know I do. The staff are very friendly and efficient as well.

Best restaurant in Yorkshire for Italian grate staff 5 star atmosphere jossibi and anglos are some top chefs and antonio some guy grate hosting skills grate at keeping organised and running such a grate business there is one staff I miss the scottish guy

We visited again with friends last night. A great welcome and buzzing restaurant as before. Friendly owner and good service from all the staff. Can’t go wrong with these prices and the good quality of food.

Was introduced to Sambuca by my partner on a fiftieth celebration great venue for this. We then started to come on a regular basis as the food is out of this world and value for money keep it up highly recommended for any occasion.

Nine of us came here to celebrate mine and my husband’s wedding anniversary. We were shown straight to our table by a lovely waiter and drinks order was taken. The food was really nice and only £11.95 for two courses. The services was really good all the staff are so friendly. We will definitely be back again. Thankyou for a lovely evening

Very well priced for today's cost of living. I had the Sambuca Special Pizza and it was one of the best I've had, even the mixed salad was on another level. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Good food, good service, good value. The staff is very friendly. If you like singing it is the place to go to. Personally it is not my cup of tea so I will go early to avoid that because it gets very noisy.

We hadn’t been before, but reviews were good. We had the starter and main for £15.95 which nowadays is very reasonable. Two of us had prawn cocktail & the other had meatballs as starters, all well presented and tasty. I had Risotto al fungi which was creamy & full of mushrooms. One had Linguini supreme with chicken and the other had Pollo (chicken) Cacciatoria & I was told both were delicious. No room for dessert but we were served with a shot of Limoncello liqueur, a lovely touch and a pleasant way to end the meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, not overly so, much appreciated. Small, cosy, restaurant, will recommend to friends.
