Visited in January. Excellent place, the guy who served us was so accommodating and lovely! The food was fresh and delicious and we weren't waiting long. Highly recommend, will be coming back! The server was kind enough to give me a hot drink because I couldn't warm up - even though the menu had no hot drink options (it was a very cold evening). Little kindnesses like that really help me keep going and encourage me to do the same. Thanks for parting with some of your own coffee reserves to help out a cold person in need! ☺️

What a surprise this litte pizzeria is. Tucked away literally under Bradford town centre within Sunbridge Wells; simple surroundings but up there with the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives and there has been a lot. The pizza chef knows his stuff, the bases are light and melt in the mouth yet not soggy, just blooming delicious. Food is simple and superb and the service was wonderful, our server a delight.

Came for a family meal and was very impressed with the quality of food and service we received. The location is great not far from the train station so was easy to get to. Very welcoming space which felt authentic and cosy. The food was fresh and flavoursome. Would definitely recommend for any celebration and will hopefully be back again soon.

A really lovely restaurant. The pizzas were amazing. Fresh ingredients and made to order. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We came to see our daughter for a couple of days and went with my husband on our 1st night. Enjoyed everything about this place, so we returned the next night with our daughter and son-in-law. They both thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas and starters. We would definitely return again on our next visit to Bradford. Truely authentic, fresh food.

We visited Bradford for a family visit. On our first night, my wife and I came here and loved the food and the friendly atmosphere. Upon mentioning this to our daughter and her husband, they wanted to try it for themselves. Despite living in Bradford for over 5 years, they had never heard of the restaurant. So we came back a second time and were not disappointed in the slightest. Again, excellent freshly made pizza and friendly staff. They will return soon. Highly recommended. The only thing I can say that is negative is that the restaurant is hard to find and could be much better if it had better signage.

We were recommended by a friend - what a great find. Highly recommend you trying this little gem out. The food was delicious - we had bruschetta and mozzarella and Parma ham to start then shared pizza golosa with a rocket salad and garlic bread…..the balsamic glaze is to die for! La Caverna is a really atmospheric place to visit with friends. We visited for dinner before checking out Sunbridgewells' underground bars. The pizza is to die for and there's a great selection of starters too. Will definitely be returning.

Walked by and asked to look at a menu, nice restaurant in Sunbridge wells nice cozy atmosphere, worked well as we wanted something quick before the theatre, should advertise pre theatre dining its in an ideal location close to The Alhambra . Food freshly cooked and we didn’t want too long, a constant stream of people coming in.

Went here for pre theatre meal and it was top notch. Limited menu but what they do(pizzas) they do very very well. Great quality bruschetta to start with & the best calzone we’ve had for a long while. Highly recommend.

The reviews of this restaurant are well deserved. We did have a little difficulty locating the place, but the food, ambience and service were of the highest quality.

Cosy pizzeria located downstairs in Sunbridge Wells. All the starters & pizzas we tried were excellent, comparable to Rudy's pizza in Manchester, Leeds or Sheffield. Staff were prompt & pleasant too. Overall well worth a visit.

Cozy pizza joint. Great food with gluten free options available for coeliacs. We were amazed at how authentically Italian the pizza tasted, then we discovered that's because the chefs are indeed Italian! Will definitely return

Hidden gem tucked away in Sunbridge Wells (accessed via alleyway behind Starbucks/Wetherspoons). The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly! The pizza dough is fresh and fluffy.

The website doesn't do this place justice (and I think some of the menu photos are with the wrong descriptions). Sunbridge Wells is a lovely setting, service was warm and welcoming, food was authentically Italian, and overall it was great value! We'll definitely be back.

Really fabulous gem of a spot. Great food! And even better prices. Awesome atmosphere. We had the caprese salad(5)- big portions! And the calzone tortellini (14) was delish!!! I was avoiding wheat soo i had the salad (5) and the antipasta tray (8) as my main. They brought them together on a lovely plate.

Lovely little restaurant in the amazing Sunbrige Wells tunnel complex. Not the biggest of menus but all reasonably priced and fab pizzas.

This was amazing, so underrated the owner/staff were so caring and literally made it the perfect night. The cheesy garlic bread was so yummy and not stuffed with oil and super cheesy. The pizza were great, so accommodating even did a heart shaped pizza for us which was so kind. I couldn’t recommend this place enough highly underrated. One of the best in Yorkshire.

Needed a good meal out on a working trip with an overnight in central Bradford, so the positive reviews led me to 'La Caverna'. V nicely set in the Sunbridgewells under-street arcade (a surprise little gem) and with a warm, intimate atmosphere, it proved a good choice. The menu was focused on fresh-made pizzas and I had 'matta' (fiorentina, elsewhere, I guess). V quick, v tasty and v good ingredients. A Moretti to wash it down - bill under £15. Friendly staff, an intriguing/enjoyable soundtrack - all good. I'd go again and would recommend it.

Price? Amazing. Ambience? Romantic~ Food? DELICIOUS! Had a date here with my partner after work. Shared a starter, both ordered soft drinks (they do serve wine and beer) and ordered a pizza each. Was around £30 altogether. I smelt the pizza before even getting to the entrance and it smelt great. Walked through the door and you see the wonderful pizza oven upon entry, it genuinely is super cool to see. We asked for a table for two, staff were nice and relaxed and allowed us to pick anywhere. Wonderful atmosphere. The Stone arched opening leading from one section to the next is really nice and creates an atmospheric transition into a warmer but low light dining area. It feels intimate without feeling intimidating or rigid. I loved that is was date worthy but relaxed. I ordered the Caverna pizza. With absolute confidence I can say it is the best pizza I have ever had! When I read the combination of toppings I did wonder how it would taste, but wow I was beyond delighted! I found it to be quite filling so my partner asked for the remainder to be packed up to take home and the waiter kindly did so. It’s location within sunbridge wells is convenient. I plan to have a date night here again and then maybe go for drinks or theatre or movies or maybe just stick around and have more pizza!
