Such a happy friendly vibe and great coffee! The staff are so upbeat, even first thing in the morning and made an effort to make our coffee the way we are used to having it in New Zealand

Called for lunch while visiting Ilkley,ordered food and drinks at servery window and these appeared very quickly served pleasantly by young lady waitress. Can recommend to anyone wanting a light meal for lunch. Will call again when visiting Ilkley

As visitors to Ilkley, we nearly passed this place by but noticing it was full inside, we reconsidered Vegan Supreme Pannini was just that .... Terrific flavours You don't need to be veggie or vegan to enjoy The lemon, honey & mint water is a welcome change from a heavy coffee

This is the ideal place to go if you need cheering up on a dull wintry day! The staff are fantastic, so good humoured and charming and the food is great too. In these bleak times it is wonderful to find a community cafe where the staff really care about their customers and inject great humour. Always an uplifting experience!!

We come here numerous times… it never fails to disappoint! Fantastic staff and great food and coffee. From the minute you walk in nothing is too much for the staff. They are all so polite and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend.

A large group of us finished our hike of here. The male waiter was absolutely fantastic, we went above and beyond for our group. He quickly rearranged the tables to accommodate us all. The drinks and cakes arrived quickly and the whole staff team seem to really enjoy working here and it shows. The lemon drizzle was lovely and we all enjoyed the range of drinks on offer. I would definitely revisit here.

We discovered La Stazione as we were wondering around discovering Ilkley. What a find! It was like going back to one of our holidays in Italy! Friendly staff, great food and a lively atmosphere, just the perfect place to put a smile on your face.

This is a great place to have a drink and something to eat. We have passed this place many times before, but today was the first time we actually visited. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We had a drink and a snack which were all lovely. We will definitely visit again and recommend to our friends and family

I never had the pleasure of learning the names of the staff but all around these staff are some of the most welcoming and hard working people I've encountered in hospitality period. Additionally, the coffee is absolutely spot on, great quality and flavour. Cafe La Stazione lives up to and beyond the expectation that comes with being one of the first places you see leaving the train station. Simply superb.

Came for a quick takeout Latte and ended up sitting in with the family as was made to feel so welcome by the staff. They made special drinks For my children and gave away free biscuits as we waited. Fantastic customer service. Bravo 🙏🏻

First time we’ve been here. Super cafe and very welcoming. Busy but Max found us a table and runs the place like clockwork. We had a brunch. Bacon, maple syrup and crumpets. Yummy. Coffee is excellent! Will definitely return.

The staff greet you like an old friend even if you're not, and greet a lot of customers by name. This is nice, because if they know people by name they've clearly been doing something right for a while. Good sandwiches, lovely cakes and, of course, great coffee. Almost always call in here for a coffee plus something when I'm in Ilkley and I've never been disappointed.

Visited La Stazione during a very busy lunchtime period but still received speedy, efficient and the friendliest service from the wonderful staff here. Such a refreshing change.

Visited yesterday. Good location next to the railway station and Marks and Spencers. Easy to follow menu. Bacon sanwiches very good. Coffee and Earl Grey tea also very acceptable. Staff cheerful and well organised. Lots of people visiting and orders easy to place. Would recommend.

In these odd times we need to rely on shop and cafe staff doing all they can to keep us safe. The team at Enzos are going above and beyond. The outdoor area is clearly signed with a one way system and you are required to leave your name and number at the door before sitting inside. Enzo is rarely spotted without a cloth and bottle of disinfectant in his hand and the toilets are gleaming. But despite all the hard work going on the team are as chipper and welcoming as ever.

La Stazione is back and we have missed it! Take out service safely served from the window. Staff as friendly and cheerful as ever just what we need after lockdown! No safer open inside less tables but the same great coffee. Hand sanitiser dispensers as you go and in out and you feel safe and clean.

fast service, excellent choice , a bit of banter if you want it, popular with all walks of people, not sure if dogs allowed but don't see many in there so thats a plus! Papers available inside and from M&S next door, coffee is lovely as is toasted teacake. haven't tried the panninies yet but plenty of time for that. Starting to be a regular haunt of mine now.

The staff are lovely and friendly, so welcoming. I always have a panini/focaccia and they're always delicious. Would recommend the parma ham and sundried tomato focaccia. The coffee is brilliant - well made and tasty. I would always recommend this lovely place.

As a regular visitor to ilkley I used to visit various Ilkley cafes including chains. Finally a couple of years ago i tried La Stazione - fantastic! I now only go there and numerous times every time I visit Ilkley.

What a busy cosy and friendly small place this was. Sunday just after midday running late but needing to eat before attending the Kings Hall ( opposite) show for 1 pm. Place was packed and staff dashing about to fulfil orders. Said if we waited they would make a table for 2 into a three as the people were almost ready to leave. Five minutes max later, they did and we sat down. Said we were rushing and had looked at the menu. ordered our toasted sandwiches and hot drinks. They were there in hardly any time and we had plenty time to eat and stroll across the road with time to spare. Liked the staff attitude and humour. Never felt rushed or pressured although I could see others waiting. Just popular place. Was this because it was Sunday? We shall return for the scones alone that looked so tempting ( I was full)

Took shelter on a rainy day in La Stazione. Ordered a foccacia sandwich. The bread was amazing - crisp on the outside and light on the inside - not at all stodgy as so much shop bought foccacia is. Followed by canolis - just the right size, not huge - with delicious lemon cream filling that made me go 'mmmm'. Great find.

Called in on wet Saturday lunchtime. We were shown to a table and served promptly. The customer service was excellent with humour thrown in for free.Our coffees and focaccia sandwiches arrived with a smile and quite quickly.The sandwiches were delicious and the coffee too.When we paid we were asked if we had enjoyed our food.What struck me was that the service and humour were genuine and not forced.It’s our go to place in Ilkley now.It brightens your day.

I been a regular at La Stazione Ilkley for several years now and without fail I have had a warm welcome and the best customer service. You most certainly will not get this kind of service at any of the chains for miles around! My recent lunch with friends the staff even remembered her birthday and made her feel so special. Where else but in Italy would you get this type of treatment! The coffee really is the best outside of Rome and you never have to wait long for coffee or lunch. Always a quick service and all the staff still manage to have time to chat and welcome all the customers. No wonder it is the busiest coffe shop around.!

This is a jewel in an ocean of coffee shop in Ilkley. The staff are so polite, helpful and the witty banter lifts everyone’s spirits! If only we could bottle some of this happiness and warmth! A lot to be said about places that just make you smile. Missed on some people who are so grumpy, but sad truth is they need it most. Oh and the coffee is like being in Milan. Amazing. If you want a good welcoming experience, with toddlers, children, granny & grandads, and teenagers pulling your hair out come to La Stazione. You can’t miss it, at the station plaza, with all the smiling people sitting at it! Enjoy. Excellent coffee shop in the heart of Ilkley. Perfect location inside the train station but with outside heated terrace for smokers and dog lovers. Service is wonderfully unique with passion, integrity and honesty. Possibly not for the ‘yes sir, no sir’ old school but bettys is just round the corner!! These guys care and have a fantastic, authentic and creative approach to making you feel special. Highly recommended. Coffee is too notch too!

This might not be the prettiest coffee shop in Ilkley but the coffee is excellent and the staff were the friendliest I've met in a long time. My partner had crumpets with bacon and maple syrup, I had the fruit toast with home made cinnamon butter and both were delicious. Very quick service, all table service and in a great place at the railway station. I'd definitely recommend La Stazione for a quick bite and a decent cup of tea and coffee.

We came here to eat lunch and have a coffee, as I personally really like it here - and despite my friends living in Ilkley, they’d never been... I had a chicken, bacon and lettuce sandwich - my favourite thing to have, and both my friends had a bacon egg and tabasco toastie. We then had a coffee and a pudding each. It has a lovely atmosphere and all of the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious too. Thank you for making my lunch such an enjoyable meal!

The Stazione is written in folklore for cyclists about to take on the Cow & Calf climb. Been coming here early mornings for years and always had a cheery smile and a great coffee. A double espresso definitely gets you up the C&C; !

Situated in the railway station, a surprisingly good location, we popped in for a light lunch, My wife ordered a ham and cheese toastie and I ordered a Bacon, hard boiled egg and tomato sandwich on focaccia with a splash of tabasco. we also ordered an Aperol Spritzer each.

Stopped here for breakfast. Great coffee and cheerful service. Opted for simple roll’n’bacon (bacon bap), which was good, too. Had passed La Stazione a few times at different times of the day and it was always busy.i can see why, now.

Whilst we don’t live in Ilkley, we do visit La Stazione 4-5 times per year and have never been disappointed. Great coffee, simple but honest food and increasingly rare, a warm welcome to both adults and kids. We love it and will return soon.

Visited with friend whilst waiting for our wife’s who were shopping. We had a couple of cups each really enjoyed them. The coffeee shop was really busy whilst we were there and the staff were very kind and helpful to all who came in. Will be visiting again

Fabulous staff, lovely coffee, great outdoor seating area, it doesn't get any better. It is like a little piece of Italy in Ilkley. The service is never anything short of five-star and unlike Nero's around the corner, you are highly unlikely to have to clear a table yourself before you can sit down. And the food is lovely too. Top marks all round.

Just by Ilkley train station and so so easy to pop in for a quick coffee to drink in or take away that I am guilty of taking this friendly buzzing cafe for granted. Always a warm welcome, brilliant coffee and tasty snacks, a great atmosphere. A true Italian ethos towards children my little grandson adores his ‘Babychinos’ . Great area outside for a leisurely coffee(or other drink) and watch the world go.

We tried to eat breakfast here on saturday but didnt even get chance to sit down before a member of staff rudley embarrassed myself, husband 4 year old daughter. We walked into this cafe intending to have breakfast as our train to leeds was delayed by 1 hour. 10 minutes before entering this cafe we had been to costa to purchase takeaway coffee's and a hot chocolate for my 4 year old. On returning to the train station we found out our train was delayed by 1 hours. My husband and i had finished our coffee by then but i was still holding my 4 year old daughters hot chocolate that was still way to hot as usual for her to drink (usually takes 30 mins). So in i waked to the cafe holding my daughter's hot chocolate which we had no intention of drinking when someone behind the counter shouted oh i see you have been to costa very loudly for everyone in the cafe to hear. I explained the situation before we even got chance to sit down or order. He then said its fine ill put it in one of our cups. Totally misunderstanding it wasnt ready for my daughter to drink. By that time he had embarrassed my family that much that we then had to leave no way could we of enjoyed breakfast there.

Were visiting Ilkley to see relatives and was looking for somewhere quick and convenient for lunch.

I love this place, I go every morning, I grab a coffee and a bacon sandwich and it puts me in a good mood. Seriously smooth coffee, its one of the highlights of my day and I'm completely addicted. What a great team, this is an excellent example of what customer service should be like - well done guys!

I often meet clients here for coffee and sometimes a bite to eat. Service is good and relaxed. Easy place to do an hours work. Coffees are good quality.

The cafe was busy both inside and out. The coffee was excellent and the service was quick and efficient. The only downside was the toilet which could have been cleaner.

On leaving the station the first coffee bar/restaurant you see is La Stazione.A lovely sunny spot outside with many seats.Lovely staff always ready with a smile and laugh.My wife and i have started travelling twice a month to this coffee bar and for a walk round this lovely small town. Apart from scones toasted teacakes etc i did see bacon sandwiches and other food being served.Wine i also saw being served.Nice people around as we watched the cyclists and dog walkers around us.

Our favourite place for coffee and a slice of cake. All the staff are lovely, fantastic with my little ones and the cake is amazing. A great place to grab a coffee to go before getting on the train or to sit and have a chat with a friends over a cuppa and a slice of cake. Highly recommend a visit!

I returned almost a year to the day of my last visit and was not disappointed. The staff are amongst the best I have ever come across anywhere, always pleasant, nothing too much trouble and extreme ly hardworking. It's a testament to the quality and value of the place that it's sandwiched between a bar and a Pizza Express, both with outside seating, and where's La Stazione was constantly busy the other two were almost empty.
