Quick delivery! food was hot and delicious. First time visiting but will definitely order again, thank you for such a delicious Friday treat!

Hands down Qurtuba make the best persian cuisine. Their food is amazing!! The food is really fresh and tasty. All my family love their food and you can tell the chef really takes pride in their cuisine. Absolutely mouthwatering. Have ordered again. Their salad and sauces are amazing. Very refreshing. Definately something different here at Qurtuba makes a change from greasy cheeseburgers and pizzas. I would not hesitate to order or come in and eat. I just love their food. :)

To the previous reviewer he obliviously knows nothing about Middle Eastern food , but being from Colne that’s no surprise. Been he loads of times, one of the best restaurants in Keighley. Amazing that they keep there prices so low in the present circumstances. We had the starter to share, meatballs and other starters were great. Main courses of lamb stew and Chicken kebab also first class, three happy customers.

Well what can I say!! I think in hundreds of reviews Iv'e only ever left 1 or 2 bad reviews. If I could leave a Minus 5 stars for this excuse of a restaurant I would. First of all let me explain that its not Persian/Iranian in any way. Its as much Persian as I am Aboriginal. It used to be Persian, but was sold and is now not Persian. My best friend is Persian, and I took him along tonight for a surprise. He said "Hello" in Farsi and they looked at him stupid. The previous reviews you will see is when it was a genuine Persian restaurant under Persian ownership. Lets start with cleanliness, I had to nip to the toilet (downstairs) and as soon as I opened the door at the top of the stairs the smell was horrific. as I went down it was filthy walls and carpets and doors. Alarm bells should have started ringing immediately, especially after the Gents was out of order and I had to use the Ladies. No toilet paper, Dirty condition, smelly. The interior of the restaurant looks like a time warp from 1986 and is very grimy, the door carpets were absolutely filthy along with the the window ledges that were caked in months old dust. They still had Christmas lights hanging in the window, as if it added some ambience to a very dank sombre outdated facade. All the old tables were scratched and need replacing. The Food. We started with meatballs, and were served these two meatballs in a greasy horrible sauce along with some sort of bread. Then came the main course. We had ordered Makhsous Kebab or Kobeda in Persian. If you eat anywhere in Persia and you have rice you will 100% have a Barbecued tomato and onion, and you will always get a portion of Khyar (which is yoghurt cucumber salt and dried mint) Its like having an English breakfast with no bacon and eggs, not to have or be offered Khyar. Our dish had no tomato, no onion or no Khyar. Then when we started to eat, oh dear!!! I cant even believe that this standard of food was allowed to be sent out and served to a paying customer. The lamb was so dry and so old it was awful. so we skipped that and tried the minced lamb again it was 1-2-3 days old and had been microwaved to death. we immediately called over the young waiter and pointed out the meal was terrible. He didn't even apologise he just shrugged and went to the chef/manager. who didn't even have the decency to come round and have a look at the food, he just mumbled in a foreign language (That definitely wasn't Persian). I said to my friend "Don't argue as they intend to do nothing except take you're money, lets just pay and leave". I can honestly say after eating in hundreds of restaurants, many Iv'e not even reviewed on here, that this was the most horrible disgusting food Iv'e ever has served to me, and to not even offer an apology to two paying customers is shambolic.

We have driven past this place a lot over the years and wondered what it was like. Our experience tonight was fantastic. The food was really very good. We had a hot mixed starter with 2x Sujuk and chicken rolls which was fantastic. My main was lamb with dried plums which was very good, our party had spicy chicken kebab chelo joojeh, lamb with split peas and barberries with chicken, all were great. The staff were lovely and the prices very good. Highly recommended

Amazing authentic and tasty food. There’s not a meal I’ve had there which I haven’t enjoyed. Would highly recommend! Also do takeaways if you’re local.

We went to Qurtuba on Saturday evening and had an excellent meal there. We received friendly and amazing service from Sudie. We had sucuk and meatballs to start with naan bread. For mains we had the lamp chops and spicy chicken kebab. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. We finished off our meal with tea and baklava. We will definitely come here again and recommend you give it a try.

Really delicious food. Unexpectedly for a small quite restaurant the food here was really tasty. We live in Skipton but will be coming again! The staff were polite and courteous and the cleanliness levels were really good. We had the meatballs, momtaz kobeda and lamb pieces plus all the extra - yummy!

We went for my dads birthday and can’t fault the food and service. Everything was fresh and tasty and the lady serving us was excellent. My only criticism is that the decor and tables in the restaurant needs updating but we would all go back as the food and service is excellent!

Oh my goodness, I don’t actually know where to start! I never leave reviews .. I’m normally that dismayed at the cost of a takeaway and it’s rubbish quality that I just forget I ever ordered it. I wasn’t sure whether Qurtuba was going to be another £35 down the drain but it was hands down, the BEST takeaway I have ordered in the last 3 years in keighley The food was so fresh, so char on the meat was perfect, the flavours were really plentiful and the salad was still crisp on arrival, rice really light and tasty and the four hot starters with 2 naans I just can’t fault at all! The meatballs were 👌🏼 I’m absolutely stuffed, going to bed happy and will definitely be ordering from here again when I feel like eating restaurant quality food at home - thank you for my to the restaurant for our food we thoroughly enjoyed it and I have already sent pictures and recommended you to three friends lol

We stayed in Keighley at the weekend and visited this restaurant on Friday evening. We were so impressed we returned on Sunday as well. Great food, lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Really good choice on the menu, at reasonable prices. The food was flavourful and service was good. I would recommend if ypu are looking for something a little different.

Qurtuba is a small (maybe 15 covers) restaurant which also offers a delivery service. I've eaten there twice and the food has been uniformly excellent and the service friendly and efficient. There's a range of hot and cold starters including the delicious Kashk Bademjam served with fresh flatbreads. Plenty of charcoal grilled kebabs, but also some stews and rice dishes to explore. The restaurant isn't licensed, but serves a wide range of soft drinks and customers are welcome to bring their own wine. A meal for two comes in at about £30. Incredible value given the qualirty of the food.

You can always tell a sign of a great restaurant when the staff greet you like family. You’ve found your second home if you come here. Great home cooked food combined with super friendly and attentive staff. Never tried Persian food.....then come here and give it a try. You will never look back. What’s not to like?? Plus.... bring your own alcohol.

Keighley isn't a big town, so up to now its food/restaurant offering hasn't really been that diverse. So when I saw a Persian restaurant had finally opened up here I was surprised but very pleased. So far, I've been to Qurtaba four or five times and have never been disappointed.

I was very pleased to see the head chef (owner) back from his holiday, the food is now back to the highest standard as it was before. Those who may have been disappointed recently whilst the head chef was away, please give him a chance again. We really enjoyed the food tonight! Keep up the good work Qurtuba team!

My parents and I have visited Qurtaba at least 3 times now and we've never had a bad experience. I've always wanted to try Persian cuisine and see Iran but with everything which is going on, this amazing little restaurant is enough for now.

Been to this restaurant four times and always perfect. First class service and food,definitely the best restaurants in a Keighley. As for the negative review of the take away delivery I suggest you actually go to the restaurant to eat there rather than to complain about your delivery. Its a lot nicer experience been there than sat at home with your containers.

We ordered for collection but upon collection at the time they said and it wasn’t ready so had to wait a further 45 mins till it was! They had sold of items and offered to substitute for something else which was fine but then ended up missing it out of the order. Staff were rude and not very helpful! The food we had was actually quite nice but I wouldn’t bother again based on the service.

630pm food via food hub 45 mins was accepted by the restaurant. 745pm decided to call as it had been twice the alloted time. Got told the delivery driver was on his way by a rather impolite 'lady' on the phone. 8pm called again to ask status at first she said 5 mins then said can't get hold of delivery driver then just gave me a barrage of abuse, I then had enough and said I'll come collect the food or have a refund as id paid online. She said rather abruptly 'come get your money' and hung up. So I drove 15 mins to the shop and she then lied and said I didn't say that and I can't have my money and the food has gone with a driver? She said she called to tell me but I had no missed call. I then drove home and no food at home. When I called the restaurant they said the delivery driver left 10 mins ago but I was in the shop 15 mins prior. 9pm still no food I decided to drive back to the shop and demanded food or a refund and was finally given my money back and I then went onto another restaurant to eat.

Wow, what tasty authentic food! Absolutely gorgeous and a real gem in Keighley! And they do take-out! Portion size is very generous and the staff are very friendly!

Superb food, fresh homemade starters prepared to perfection, succulent lamb, fragrant chicken, flavoursome kebabs. Generous portions, and excellent drink made with melon and mint - all served by wonderfully friendly and kind staff. You can bring your own alcohol if you wish. Very reasonable - amazing food - including two courses for £10 offer.

The restaurant is small, cosy and very basic. However the food was amazing, fresh, tasty well presented. The waiter was very friendly and helpful answering all our questions. He also advised us to change one of the starters for another because we were getting naan breads with it. I'm glad we did. My husband and I had 4 warm starters to share followed by the qurtaba special with rice to share. It was gorgeous. We had water, mango juice and coke to drink. We will be back.

What a wonderful little restaurant this is. Home cooked Persian food at its best. Tasty and cooked to perfection. Perfect hosts for a perfect evening. Enter as guests but leave as friends. Keep up the good work. This will be my go to restaurant when I visit again from Australia.

What can I say about Qurtuba? It is excellent in every way. A little gem in our very own town. This was my second visit with family. I ordered the Chelo Kebab Makhsous. It was absolutely delicious, very tender and tasty. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was well presented. The service was quick and polite. A perfect example of good, honest Persian food. I will definitely be returning soon.

Four of us went for a meal here and everyone was very impressed with the delicious food. We shared 4 starters and 2 naan to start. Cheese rolls, falafel, vine leave rolls and an aubergine dish. All of them were fantastic but the aubergine was out of this world tasty! The naan were freshly made, hot and tasty. Portion size was very generous. We each had a different main and all 4 were fantastic- again great size portion and so tasty and fresh. They had managed to cook the chicken skewers to juicy perfection with no dryness. The lamb shank fell of the bone it was so tender. Lovely saffron rice and a refreshing side salad.

Tonight my wife and I were accompanied by two friends for their first night in the restaurant... They are vegetarian and loved the choice... We all had a drink for the first time called doorgh, very similar to lassi, a South Asian drink... It was lovely...

Wow what can I say? We are new to Persian food and the only restaurant we knew of was in Bradford that you had to get a taxi to although worth the trip but to find a Persian restaurant in our home town that is clean,friendly and of course has excellent food is a great find.Definatley worth a visit, this is our second visit in two weeks and we are already planning next weeks visit too.Each time I’ve tried different starters,mains and sweets and not been disappointed at all.The staff are lovely and really helpful,not tried takeaway yet as we like to call to the restaurant and take our own wine as they only sell hot or soft drinks at the moment,nothing is too much trouble and we will be calling soon!

We visited midweek and went for the £9.95 three course offer. Both starters were great, meatballs in a tasty tomato sauce, aubergine dip and great naan bread. The lamb stew and the kebabs were both fantastic, and the meal was finished with baklava and tea. Unbelievable value! Definitely worth more than one visit and makes an interesting change from the usual Keighley restaurants.

My wife Mary and our friend Veronica and I had an amazing meal tonight at your restaurant... The service was excellent and the food was great... My wife forgot to take her handbag when she left and left it in the restaurant... I went back to collect it but had no worries about it being 100%safe in their hands... And it was... Thank you for your brilliant service and warmth... It was great seeing people from all ethnic backgrounds in the restaurant, especially breaking their fast during the period of Ramadan...

This restaurant is a brilliant place to go, excellent food and generous portions, the chicken, lamb and meat are cooked at the grill. Simply delicious and tasty stews no matter which dish one orders. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staffs. I am so glad that we have a Persian Restaurant in Keighley and I would recommend it to everyone

Absolutely stunning food and service. Very small place bur very smart and very comfortable. Slightly annoying lighting but this was outdone by the quality of the food and very pleasant service. The chef even came out when we passed on our compliments. Keighley and he local area has needed something new and different for quite some time and here it is. Please do not miss out by not trying the food here, I doubt very much that you would be disappointed. Take your own alcohol and enjoy the flavours of the food

First visit and definitely won't be the last! We had the mixed kebab platter for 2. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Excellent quality meat. Fresh naan. Couldn't fault any of it! Very reasonable! Staff were very attentive. Like that it is BYOB as well.

A lovely welcome greeted us. The place is small but perfectly formed and unpretentious and the menu varied. Starters included cold and hot with some imaginative variations along with hummus, olives etc. Mixed kebabs were superb, freshly cooked and really tasty. A really excellent meal and we will be back. Boltmakers arms just over the road too!

Visited with my husband. We love Classic Persian in Bradford but with this being nearer to home we thought we would give it a go. Wasn't dissapointed. The food was really good. And the waitress very friendly and efficent. The only negative thing is the decor inside. Could do with making a bit more inviting. But it is a smallish place (about 6 tables). But this will not stop me going. Just what keighley needs as we don't always want a curry. Will defo return.

Tuesday night visit, and without a doubt I will be back. I had the hummus to start which was gorgeous although it didn’t come with a naan bread which we had to order separately. I had lamb and chicken steak skewers which were really tasty and tender. We complemented the chef and he even came out to thank us. Can’t wait to go back

This was our second visit to Qurtuba Persian Cuisine and it won’t be our last! We enjoyed a delicious and authentic meal served with a smile. It’s great to have this new addition to Keighley’s restaurants and such good value too.

At last a decent local Persian restaurant and great char kebabs. We usually go to classic Persian so it's good to have one like this on our doorstep. The service is great and the staff are great. Support this place and spread the word.

The food is honestly amazing, we had the mixed grill with rice and bread delivered to our home address in Oakworth. Will be ordering again this very soon and highly recommending to family and friends! Anyone who moans about the price, your paying for the quality of the meat, something most fast food places in keighley lacks!

Beautiful food, so tasty and piping hot. We had the hot platter for sharing. The vine leaves were divine. Our main courses were beautiful too, freshly cooked, good portion sizes. The staff are lovely and friendly and I highly recommend you go for a meal there. Best food I've had for ages.

First visit in December, 11 of us went for dinner (to include 4 children and 2 vegetarians). Food was amazing and delicious, everyone catered for. Something for everyone. Not spicy. Great value. Hidden gem.

Where do I start with this Persian cuisine restaurant in the heart off Keighley but took me back to Morocco as the kabeda is exact the same ie ingredients as you would find abroad.

This is a fabulous restaurant. The food was out of this world. I can't think of a single negative thing to say. I have never eaten such tasty flatbread! Yes, flatbread!! We had the hummus & sujuk sausage to start & the lamb & plum stew for main. So so tasty. Prices are moderate as are the portion sizes but I felt more than satisfied. The lady who served us was really nice too. I really hope this place takes off as Keighley is short on good restaurants unless you live on Italian & Indian cuisine. We will definitely return and both of us are keen to try the whole menu. I hear their take away business is good too so that might be an option next time we're snowed in!

We have eaten 4 times now and the food has been amazing each time We ate in the first time and have ordered take away the other 3. The lamb Torsh is a triumph and beautiful and tender. Definitely recommend this little gem.

We went for the first time on Friday night with friends. We’ve been to a number of Persian restaurants before but it was a new experience for our friends. We received friendly and attentive service from Bahar. This place isn’t licensed but you are allowed to bring your own alcohol which we did. We ordered four hot starters to share – the spicy meatballs with tomato sauce (the sauce was amazing and different to Italian tomato sauce), sujuk (barbecued sausage), spicy chicken rolls and grilled halloumi cheese. The starters came with two large naans. For mains we had the spicy joojeh kebab (diced chicken fillet) which we definitely recommend. Our friends had the chello kebab bargh (lamb fillet) and the sheeshilek kebab (lamb chops) Our Sri-Lankan friend asked for his lamb chops to be extra spicy. We had a choice of chips or rice with our mains and also got different dips too. We all agreed the food was delicious and the chicken and lamb were tender and succulent. Overall we really enjoyed our first time here with the wonderful service, delicious food, lovely ambience and the reasonable prices. We’ll definitely come here again. It’s great to have a different type of restaurant in Keighley. We recommend you give it a try.
