We were looking fur somewhere for a coffee whist charging our EV. We are on holiday from South Shields. This was a great find with a fabulous friendly couple who made us so welcome. The plum cake was homemade as was the brownie! Both absolutely gorgeous. Coffees were nice too. Brilliant table service and visited the immaculate toilet. All Covid friendly. Wishing you both every success in the future. You deserve it . Thank you

I would have called this coffee shop a Hidden Gem, but it's hardly hidden away as it sits on the main street through the middle of Silsden! Great service, excellent coffee and very good cake. The cake was actually half price as it was from the weekend, but I have paid full price for cakes a lot worse than this one at some places, and it was still very good. What more can anyone ask?

I’ve been to the Duck Pond several times and it’s always been consistently excellent. The owners are friendly, welcoming and attentive and provide a very good service. The quality of coffee and beers is excellent and there’s always a choice of homemade cakes. There’s seating downstairs but I prefer to sit upstairs and watch the world go by from the window seats. A great asset to Silsden and I hope The Duck Pond is on our high street for a long time to come. Keep it up!

We have chosen to make this a regular stop on our walks in the area. For coffee in the mornings and if the sun is above the yardarm a beer. The Duck Pond is small but the welcome huge. Fantastic freshly made, locally roasted coffee is complemented by a small selection of homemade cakes. Coffee is usually served with a bottle of water, a little Italian practice which il love and it helps keep hydrated. There are usually a couple of artisan keg beers to choose from; I’ve never been disappointed. Additionally there is a huge array of bottles and canned beers from all sorts of micro breweries. Add to that a good selection of interesting gins and wines there is something for everyone. Tom concentrates on providing good coffee and drinks which are accompanied by cake or nibbles. As such they do not do meals. The premises are minimalistic but tastefully presented. There are stools, chairs and tables downstairs with lounge type seating upstairs. The loo is clean and tidy. The ambiance changes through the day. Early on there are walkers with dogs and prams. Later, locals gather to meet and chat and later still a party atmosphere pervades, especially on special days. Drinks tasting nights and other special occasions add to the vibrancy. All this is provided by the hardworking Tom and his partner and they deserve to do well.

We absolutely love The Duck Pond and often make a point to visit when we come to Yorkshire. The staff are friendly and the coffee is excellent. Definitely try one of the seasonal homemade cakes and buy a few beers from the bottle stop to take home.
