I have visited the cafe quite a few times for lunch with friends. On this occasion I took my husband for the Valentine's afternoon tea - his first visit. The afternoon tea was absolutely superb - a lovely selection of savouries and cakes, tea and prosecco. The presentation was fantastic - both the food and table decorations. Maureen and all the staff were very welcoming and ensured we had a lovely time. Thank you so much!! I will be back for lunch very soon. The usual lunch menu is also very good and reasonably priced. It is also great knowing that such a worthwhile charity benefits from this lovely little cafe.

As a Valentines Day treat we tried an afternoon tea at the Cellar Trust cafe and what a treat is was. While this is a charitable organisation the quality of food was easily a match for Betty’s tea house for half the price. OK so, being a community centre, the facilities are relatively basic but it was clean, the staff super friendly and the food truly first class. Personally I especially liked the savoury offerings (the quick and sausage rolls being superb). My friends tend to go more for cakes and scones but everyone enjoyed the food and the portions were huge. We particularly liked the fact that it was all home cooked and very fresh. There was far too much for us to finish all the food but they we’re happy to arrange for us to take home everything that we couldn’t finish at the table. We had never been here before but the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming so we are definitely coming back.

Having never been to this cafe before, we decided to go and try their special Valentine's afternoon tea. It was absolutely lovely. We had savoury selection of quiche, sausage rolls, and a variety of sandwiches. The sweet selection was also amazing with scones, Victoria sponge, chocolate fudge cake and lemon posset and lashings of tea. The service was professional, efficient and very friendly. Both Maureen and Andrea and all the volunteers worked very hard to make it such a lovely experience. My best bits - the quiche was gorgeous and the Victoria sponge was delicious, but to be honest it was all delicious. We will be back, and highly recommend it to anyone 🙂

We found this cafe on trip advisor. It is run by a mental health charity and the food was very good and good value. We are practically vegetarian and the mushroom soup and quiche were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cakes looked great, but we were too full. Light and airy. A bit off the beaten track, but worth searching out. Toilets were in a different part of the building, but were spotless.

Great for breakfasts - full & snacks - and a changing weekly menu of specials. Things are cooked really well here and its often busy as it serves the staff of the Cellar Project as well as the public. Always solid vegetarian options; good coffee. Lovely bright space with their own produce and workshop items like planters for sale. You can sit outside with your meal in a flower abundant courtyard too. There's something about this place that just works! Great, relaxed atmosphere and friendly hard-working staff.

Came across this wonderful place and cause of the Cellar Trust by chance. They were busy prepping Christmas Dinner and the tables were beautifully decorated. But the friendly staff still had time to serve me a delicious mince pie and coffee. Will definitely return for a meal. An added bonus was that the part of the Trust’s Work is to support People back into work and betterhealth through work - great cafe and great project!

Whenever I am close to Shipley this is my first port of call for lunch or a cuppa. Don't be for fooled into thinking that the cheap prices mean low quality food - some of these dishes wouldn't be out of place in a bistro. When none of the mains cost more than £5.50 and you can get a great homemade cupcake for £1... it is win win. Proper fresh coffee too. There aren't many places in Saltaire and Shipley where you can sit outside away from the main road - this place has a lovely court yard area. I've taken people here for lunch meetings and also been with my family. Always somewhere to park for free without hassle.

This is a cafe run by mental health charity The Cellar Trust. The profits made from the cafe go right back into training people recovering from mental health issues. You wouldn't think this though from the high quality food, service and premises. The building is light, airy and clean. They have their standard menu which has vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and low carb options as well as weekly specials such as salmon & ginger fishcakes or mushroom & halloumi burger for just over a fiver and are fresh and tasty.

Bought the bacon and Greek sausage at Otley market after sampling on the stall. These are amazing products. I have been trying to find nitrate free sausages for some time. All the research tells us that nitrates are harmful and I keep expecting them to be banned. Until this happens the onus is on the consumer to search them out!

Good food in a relaxed atmosphere above a local pub. He menu changes every month to a new “country”. So far I’ve tried Greek, Mexican and German. They were al excellent. Choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts. The food and the wine list are limited because the place is run by one, very talented, chef. The wines have all been delicious and each month they do a themed cocktail of the month. My wife assured me that these have been great as well. He restaurant opens Thursday to Sunday and I generally book via Facebook (you can phone as well)The food and wine are incredibly good value (£20 for three courses, £12-14 ish for the wine).Well worth seeking out
