One item missing but not bothered rest excellent

Very good value for money, great offer deal, generous portions and good quality food. However, delivery was late, waited more than an hour although aware we ordered on a Friday night, busy time. The only truly disappointing thing was I ordered a vegetable dhansak and received chicken dhansak instead for someone who is vegetarian.

food never arrived. Utter shambles. No updates, no answering of phone. Do not order. Delivery time stated 45-60 mins on initial order. Initial delivery then said 90 mins. Didn't arrive. Then update for 2 hrs 30 mins. Still didn't arrive, even though received message saying on way.

Not only was the food late, but 2 appetiser items were missing and one was substituted for something else which I didn't order. Normally I accept the late delivery as food quality is always great, but missing items is poor.

I had an amazing experience at nawaab gourmet the food was absolutely delicious, especially the chicken masala and service was first class. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The ambience was perfect for a relaxing evening out.

Food was running late so I rung up to ask how long it would be the lady on the phone said it had set off when I asked how long ago she said ‘ihave no idea, we’re busy’ and hung up on me. Food finally showed up and it was all cold and also the price for the chicken tikka for only 4 little pieces is a far too expensive which is a shame because it’s really nice food from here.

Absolutely amazing experience! The Chicken Biryani was perfectly spiced, and the Jalfrezi was bursting with flavor. To top it off, they surprised us with complimentary Onion Bhaji and Raita, which were just as delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, mouth-watering cuisine!

3hours we waited for our food! We rang the restaurant twice, got told each time it was on the way. So very disappointing.

Absolute joke. Collection time was 8:55pm and got my food at 9:20. I was waiting there for 25 mins and no updates were given.

Very disappointing. Myself and my husband went having been a few times before and it being ok. Not tonight. Curry was full of oil and chicken was overcooked and dry. Naan breads were more like poppadoms and just broke when you touched them. I've never known my husband leave a curry but we both did. The place itself was quite dirty with food all over the floor, filthy carpet and stains on the walls. Definitely our last visit here.

Order was 10 mins late but the driver was stuck in traffic and had called to say he was going to be late which I thought was a nice touch. Food was piping hot still anyway and delicious as always. One of the best bhunas I've had in a while.

I ordered a takeaway through Just Eat. Normally there is a small pot of salad included. When I rang to ask why there's no salad. I was told it's amanagement decision not to offer one. No more orders from me.

Came here with family (about 15 of us) food and atmosphere was nice overall family enjoyed the experience here would recommend . On the day we came they had some staff issues so there was only 3 waiters who were handling orders of food aswell as making drinks so took a little longer but was expected due to staff issues but still we're not waiting that long . The middle age lady waiter from India was extremely helpful thanks again

It was just that, just ok. Food was ok although my curry was very oily which was off putting. Was very warm sat in front of windows especially with it being a sunny warm day out. Over all had better but not bad. Good value for money.

No proper buffet. It's a limited menu serverd on your table only. You can eat as much. Didn't eat there & went to somewhere else for proper Buffet.

In time when you’re look at £12-13 a curry, and most takeaways are having your pants down and hardly giving you enough to feed a child, Nawaab are keeping it REAL. Spent under £25 on a takeaway that probably would have cost £45 at Shimla, Raj poot, or Akbars. The quality of the food was excellent and the curry’s come in long trays for under £9. Feed 3 people. Can’t argue with the quality or price. Keep it up guys. Defiantly returning..

The quality of food is so good that we order twice or thrice in a month. On top of that Five star customer service. Overall highly satisfied with the restaurant. ☺️

Delicious hot food, very happy customer.

Absolutely fantastic, the staff were friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for us. The food was superb. The poppadoms were so light & and crunchy, and the naan was light & fluffy and full of flavour. The butter chicken was beautiful, with great flavour, and the chicken was so tender. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later.

This place is second to none. Lovely food, friendly staff just great all round.

Had the buffet with wife and little boy. Service was excellent and very attentive. Starters were ok, enjoyed the seek kebab and the fish pokora, chicken starters were a little dry. Main course of the buffet menu were decent, nothing to shout about. Best one was the chicken dish, not the butter chicken. Dessert was gulab jamon with ice, was also decent.

Lovely and warm food, big portions well worth the money

I've eaten Currys in restaurants all over the UK ,I had a biryani it didn't come with egg of a veg curry sauce and counted 5 pieces of meat of some description..took 20 minutes to be served the popadoms n pickle tray then another hour to get the main course .and the coka cola in bottles were warm 🥵maybe best to stick to the buffet menu

Was not impressed by the menu selection & the choice of dishes. The female waitress made a fuss of the fact we wanted a 2 person starter to share between 3 of us... We should be able to order what we want without getting challenged. My jalfrezi was more like a bhuna no spices heat or chillies, chapatis were cold. There was a huge meeting going on as we were eating which put us off as they had turned the music off & we were unable to relax & enjoy our food. Friendly customer service is non existent seems the staff do not want to be there. We will not be returning

Actual delivery times are at least an hour later than those advertised. Food has started to come with items missing, or stone cold.

Had the Nirali good taste especially with the onions and cashews nuts on top really enjoyed it

Half-way through our meal we noticed a mouse running towards the kitchen side! The manager was in denial and so rude. We paid the full amount and walked away. Felt sick the following day! We're never returning.

what did I just witness - came here with family, and the staff seemed so lazy, it felt like they don't have a clue. its not even a buffet, its table service, the mix grill starters platter came pretty quick, it tasted off like few days old. we refused to go any further and told the management we will not be paying for this. left very disappointed, they really need to re-train their staff, and work on their food quality.... my mrs also said the staff women swore. pathetic !!!

Meat masala not my usual dish but very tasty

"Buffet" don't be fooled. I went for iftar evening buffet. Before going i called and they confirmed that they do buffet. We got there and found there is no buffet stations but they'll bring the "buffet" to the table. It took them 30 mins to get us starters which was a mixed grill for 4. Then another 40 mins to bring us main course which was tiny in portion, cold and was substandard. The service was awful although the waitresses were trying their best but management didn't care. I saw people going to kitchen to grab their own food, it was such a chaos. Charged us £90 for verity less unseen buffet. We felt humiliated and cheated on. They blatantly lie about doing buffet when there is no buffet. Customers are treated better in 3rd world countries than this restaurant. Definitely won't ever be going here again. I wish I could give zero stars.

Worst buffet in Westyorkshire. The waiter and waitresses were horrible i had get up from my seat 5 times to order and asked everything we needed. Horrible service. Tasteless food. Dirty place and especially toilets. Even the workers were dirty. NEVER AGAIN!

Love Nawaabs Gourmet, mine & my husband’s favourite place to eat! They have a lovely buffet on during ramadhan too that they bring to your table. Tasty food, great service & atmosphere!

Very good service and food was immaculate. Service was 10/10 our waiter safina had the biggest smile and was very helpful definitely would recommend. She deserves a pay rise 😉. Definitely will be coming back.

I always ask for mild curries as i have a physical allergy to chillies. Why advertise mild curries when theyre spicier than the surface of the sun? Straight into the bin. They used to make them really nice, but maybe the chef has changed? Theyre not even medium hot now. Theyre very hot. To top it off, the delivery driver gave me attitude when i asked him nicely to not park his car on my driveway next time. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager about it, still waiting for a callback.

I waited 2 hours for my food only for them to miss the 2 mains I ordered. After waiting another hour the curries came and they were disgusting. The lamb masala was swimming in creme and milk. I only had 2 bites and some starters. Everytime I phoned they were confused about which one was my order it took 5 mins to explain the situation again. I had to do this multiple times. For 2 days I was sick consumed with food poisoning. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

ordered it at 6.30pm delivery was 45mins to 1 hr, immediately after accepting the order it changed to delivery 1 hr 10 mins to 1hr 30 mins... got here at 8.20pm! this is due to Ramadan

Terrible service only 3 people working & the lady was very rude & didn’t even understand English i told her I wanted to pack my food at the end 5/6 times she went to the counter and sat there looking at us even tho she knew was was waiting to get our food packed but she never gave us containers so it came to a stage we’re we left the left-over food & it went to waste because we finished our food 10/15 mins ago & she still hasn’t even brang a container to pack it instead she was sat at the till staring at us, my drinks came after we ate our starters wen drinks are suppose to be severed first… food was on point but service was absolutely terrible.. they need better & qualifed staff! Would I go there again? Definitely not.
