Exceptional food and brilliant service by Umer Iqbal. I ordered starters, mains and desserts- each dish was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend Mumtaz. I have been coming here for many years and the standard is always excellent.

It’s such a shame, this place was originallly opened in the 1970’s to Honor the founder’s mother. fast forward to today and I assure you there is no better way to DISHONOR your mother than by bringing by her here on Mother’s Day. The food was awful, the service was terrible, the prices would qualify for BBC’s “Rip off Britain” well done guys this is progress, but NOT as we know it! I don’t understand the good reviews must be paid reviews hence the prices for the marketing budget

We visited Mumtaz Bradford for Iftar with the family, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a great setup for breaking our fast. The food was delicious everything was fresh, well prepared and full of authentic flavors. A special mention to our waiter Umer Iqbal, who provided exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His professionalism and hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend Mumtaz for anyone looking for a quality Iftar with great food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

Very expensive for what is, at most, average food

I visited Mumtaz at Bradford UK. I can’t give more than 5 star, otherwise I would have given that one. The Ambience, the food, the service by Kuldeep and meet with Mr Mumtaz is unforgettable and would stay in my beatiful memory forever. Also, even before we were seated and while we were waiting for a table, they gave us complimentary food and drinks so that we had something to break our fasts. Thank you very much Mr Mumtaz.

Beautiful amazing authentic Pakistani food! Really enjoyed breaking my first fast of Ramadan here, we were served by Umar Iqbal — he was absolutely brilliant, kept checking if we were okay during our meal, offered us a complementary Iftar and was very hospitable. Will definitely be visiting again!

Had a lovely meal at Mumtaz Bradford. We were catching up with family we don't see very often and we were given plenty time to chat without feeling rushed. Our waiter Umar Iqbal was extremely attentive and we all had a really nice evening.

Exceptional food, exceptional atmosphere and exceptional service. Thanks to our waiter Umar who was very attentive. If you want to dine somewhere in Bradford that doesn't attract street trash, then this is it.

I first ate at this restaurant nearly 30 years ago when I was at Uni in Leeds and decided to take my family as we were staying nearby. I was surprised and delighted to learn that it is just as wonderful now as it was then. I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled to as truly everything was divine. The flavours are exquisite, the quality of the ingredients high, our waiter (Kuldeep) was very attentive, the decor tasteful, the prices very reasonable. It is reassuring to witness that there are still establishments out there, that refuse to serve expensive mediocre food, perhaps hoping to hide behind their name and past reputation. The Mumtaz is a shining example of how to run a restaurant that they can feel proud of, that delights their guests. I cannot recommend the Mumtaz highly enough! (My family are already counting down until we can have our next visit :-)

Kuldeep served us and was very polite, awesome guy. Food was good will go again. Quick service also for seating and food coming to table.

We dined at an early time midweek, so the restaurant was relatively quiet. Food was absolutely first class and totally delicious! We particularly enjoyed the lamb curry on the bone which was really tasty and tender. The fish Karahi was excellent with large pieces of succulent white fish and lots of flavour of fresh ginger, herbs and spices. We can highly recommend the pickle tray with popadoms to start with. Our waiter, Kuldeep, was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is so clean with tasteful decor and very spacious. There is car parking to the side off the main road.

This is one of the best restaurants in bradford. All of the starters are the best tasting and are like no others. We have had most of the starters and chicken/meat currys and have always been 5star. Every thing is fresh and the delivery is spot on.

Their portions are a little smaller than many other restaurant in Bradford, which serve bigger portions and are less expensive. However, the food is good. Staff they are okiesh. Usually needy students working on low wages.

I visited Mumtaz Bradford recently and I served by Kuldeep, I have wonderful experience there, the food was epic, and I would suggest that everyone should try this at least once.

Oman iqbal was our server he was lovely and very polite. We didn't fel rushed. The food was very hot and fresh and tasty. When we asked for extra sauce they just got us them. The music was very soothing. We will come back for another visit definitely

Came with a group of 15 for a works night out. Wasn't the original place we booked but they soon found us space to cater for us without a problem. The food and service was excellent couldn't fault a single thing. Special shout out to Umer who was so so friendly and helped our group take some photos in the restaurant. Will definitely be back

Not what it was, food quality is okay. Price is too high. Decor is great, service is okay. I used to compare Every restaruant to Mumtaz as a bench mark. But now its no where near.

Took my husband here on a visit to Bradford all the way from Wolverhampton to show him how nice the curries are in my neck of the woods….. and he wasn’t disappointed. The curries were very authentic and tasteful, we ordered 2 different curries and shared as we loved the taste of both equally. The naan breads were very soft and warm. Beautiful restaurant and the waiter was very attentive and informative with a pleasant personality…thank you Umer Iqbal for looking after us.

We went to Mumtaz in Bradford on New Year's and I usually don't write reviews but I have to say the food was on top. We had the chicken tikka boti poppadoms and pickle tray for the starters and chicken karahi and biryani for the mains they were all on point with so much flavour we also had gajar halwa and gulab jamun for dessert with icecream which tasted heaven Maryam made the experience even better though she was so friendly and attentive she made us feel like family as it was our first time coming here she answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed and was proper on it with the service our kids really liked her too. Overall the food was banging but the customer service made it more special we are definitely coming back next weekend.

We went mumtaz yesterday and we celebrated my sisters bday and they made it really special especially maryam who was really nice to us very nice and polite she got us the best mojitos we've ever had and constantly checking up on us overall we've had a very good experience at mumtaz and we'll definitely will be coming back again.

This place has the most amazing food I’ve ever had. The service was also really good with this particular waitress checking upon us from time to time to make sure everything was to our liking. I think her name was maryam M. The ambiance was also nice with a beautiful view inside to complement the food.

Didn't really like the food here, I think they've lost what they used to have since after there Supermarket deal. It's like there making so much money outta the Supermarkets that now the Restaurant is just a second option to them.

The food was fab but the highlight was the warm welcome we received which made my very shy daughter feel more relaxed and enjoy the evening.
