This was my first time trying out the shalamar Manchester road it has been an excellent experience. The food was absolutely amazing. Every meal was delicious. There’s a lot to choose from. I will highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone definitely will be coming back. I had the chicken and meat mix special Tandoori mix grill Absolutely delicious

Worst curry I’ve ever had was my first time and will be the last ordered a chicken tikka masala and looked nothing like one and tasted awful and the portion size is shocking 👎

Ordered for delivery, arrived very quickly , driver was very nice, although my drink was forgotten the driver offered to get me a drink, food was very flavourful and chicken tikka was so tender, fudge cake was moist and very tasty! will order again 👍

Usually the Chicken Steak and Chips is amazing but this time the food was dry. Only the food at the very bottom of the box was good but majority of it was too dry to eat. There was not enough sauce to help with that.

Very surprised to find the curries to be very different than what you would expect them to be - not to our taste, and would not order again; very bizarre!

The food was absolutely beautiful 1st time ordering , the box meals were worth the money , kids meals were fantastic the samosas were a little crunchy but overall will deffo be ordering again 👍

All the food tasted sweet, meat curry was sweet, chicken biryani was sweet, tasted nothing like a biryani, crispy chicken was bland and the white rice with it had a very odd taste, never again

Absoloutley beautiful food, first time using this restaurant and is definitely my new favourite, the chicken steak was gorgeous, friendly and polite delivery driver too..

Payed extra for a meat Karahi ,it arrived and it was the same as a cheaper one not a karahi in any way but its was a curry + naan was abit dry and came cold from 5min down the road but wasnt bad food

Great food. Ridiculous prices. Even more ridiculous portions I ordered a large portion. And the mint tray was bigger. A shame as quality is not a problem just the extortionate prices and portion sizes. A rip off by what is probably the best curry in Bradford. Did not used to be like this portion size and prices used to be very good but are not now

Was not impressed that I had to throw my full meal in the bin when the cheese was off and chicken was off.

One of the oldest and most traditional establishments in Bradford, been coming here every week for years and I’m sure it’ll continue.

Got keema curry,tasted sweet no flavor had to throw it in the bin,won’t be using them again.

Horrible the curry is uneatble load of green slop its disgusting really is definitely won't be ordering again also I ordered and paid for the coriander dip with my poppadoms got mint sauce the garlic mushrooms I don't even know how the have the nerves to put them on the menu there soggy tin mushrooms with garlic on them horrible food 0/10

chicken tikka madras curry was bland, slimy and had no flavour. I like most curries, but this was bad,

Had a chicken dansak was delicious spicy with really crunchy fresh chillis and spices enough for 2 people

The quality of the food was outstanging but there was a delay. No complainys though as the food tasted great.

We use shalamar for our curry’s always but tonight it wasn’t good at all. The rogan josh didn’t taste great and the chicken was chewy, and the Biriyani was bland. We tried to ring but no answer. Real shame as we have never had bad food from here but no sure we would come back

Incredible got the bad boy box was surprised how tasty it was. My only issue was burger sauce on the hot wings and not on the burger? Both chicken curry ans biriyani was incredible and the lobby we sat and ate the food in. We had people telling us and it smelt incredible. The delivery driver was really nice updating me with how long the food was going to be 10/10 service

We haven't used shalamar for a couple of years after been a original customer from the early 90s shalamar was my go to restaurant but we we sacked it after a poor meal ....but respect where its due must say tonight fair play to them that was outstanding food 👏 so glad we tried them again ...inspired choice because that was absolutely 👏 brilliant just as good as 30 years ago, and after this we once again will be regular customers, welldone shalamar ..totally.brilliant 😀

Pretty poor curry really, wouldn't buy a curry from here again,£9 and a supermarket frozen for a few quid would have been better.

Not for my taste buds. Kebab sandwich, the chapatti was hard and over cooked. Meat tikka off the bone was in a chilli sauce not to my liking and full of fat pieces. Waste of £13.50 as I couldn't eat any of it.

Everytime i order a set meal from here it gets cancelled afraid to say this has happened again tonight so will strikefrom my list and wont be ordering again any time soon!

Curry was bland, tasteless and sooo watery! Garlic naan didn't taste anything like garlic. Just like a thick piece of dough. Won't be ordering from here again.

Try their loaded chips they are gorgeous. We’ve been here a few times as all their food (so far) is really nice. They’re one of the very few takeaways that don’t deliver late and come within a decent time.

The food wasn’t up to expectations lamb chops didn’t av any flavour curry wasn’t very nice at all .. I wudnt recommend the shalamar to anyone ..!!!

What can I say it all went in hun never had burnt Donna meat or burnt chicken tikka even my dog wouldn’t eat it 26.60 order wasted like we can afford to waste money on bad fast food

The food was awful, it doesn’t represent Asian food at all, it’s like you have a white man trying to cook Asian food, the kebabs were hard the rice had no flavour the chicken was dry, the only nice thing was the seekh kebab, you charge 80p for a single popadom , ridiculous. Ya’ll need shutting down for making food the way you do😭

The food here used to be really really good, it’s gone so down hill.. didn’t get my cheesy chips for a start and the rest of the food was just dead..

Good curry if you can get one. I rang 3 different days first excuse its a bit busy to deliver at 5pm then we don't deliver far away till after 6. Now it's 6:30 there has been a car crash we can deliver local but not anywhere else. Really Rude staff need some manners.

Usually a brilliant service with high standard of food the food was still high standard but the 90 min wait then parts of order missing the restaurant sent the missing parts out but they arrived cold and was a while after food delivered

Food is always lovely from here. Always goes down well with whole family. And delivery driver always friendly. Only issue is a recent order of a curry, the chapattis that we ordered 2 of them smelt and tasted very strongly of detergent, I can only assume they maybe placed on a surface they had just cleaned and not rinsed, but either way they had to be binned. Other than that no complaints.

I paid for a garlic dip and a can of pop and didnt receive it. Burger was horrible tasted like plastic.
