Never recommend to any one as you have very other good restaurant nearby n same street Very bad experience and customer service. They treated us like we went to get a free food from them. Always with a nasty look especially from male staff who served us. Food was okay. But not in good quantity as other Pakistani cuisine. A female staff was good in attitude.

Food is amazing, and you can tell from the insane queues that form outside. It’s very hustle and bustle, quite loud too but it’s the good kind of loud not the I want to hold my head into my head loud. Staff were quick to come to us, service was quick and food got there in about 10 mins (not too bad since we had poppadoms to start). Just a heads up though it’s walk in only so good luck!

I’d wanted to try this place for a while as I often walked past it and it was always very busy! The beginning of the experience was great but I left with a sour taste in my mouth due to the service. We had booked a table for 7pm and we asked for recommendations on the menu, our waiter was really lovely and offered happily. Food came quickly and it really was delicious! However it got to 7:40pm and mid mouthful we had another waiter come and ask if we were finished… Obviously not. I look over at the door and there’s 6 people waiting, ahh. So less than a minute later, he comes back and clears everything despite not having finished. Not to mention stacking all the plates on the table in front of us! Then proceeded to wipe the table down while we were still sitting! From someone who has worked in hospitality for ten years this is completely unprofessional and downright rude. We didn’t even get a chance to look at the dessert menu. We got up because we were being forced to leave essentially and the next group were sat down immediately. We were there for 45 minutes tops. The experience of the service honestly ruined everything, we won’t be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lahori, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We arrived quite late, but the owner Rizwan warmly welcomed us in, even though the restaurant was technically closed. His hospitality was truly remarkable, making us feel right at home. The interior of the restaurant was both aesthetic and immaculate, with a cozy ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, clearly prepared with care and expertise. Despite it being after hours, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great meal. I can’t recommend Lahori highly enough for their outstanding service and wonderful cuisine. A true gem!

The kind of place where the food is so good the service kinda becomes irrelevant. The staff aren't rude or anything. But they're so busy they want you to vacate the table as soon as possible.

Driven pass this place enough times and has been on my dishlist for years! There’s a bustling atmosphere being in the heart of Tooting and it’s great to see such a diverse clientele and everyone enjoying themselves. Whilst is quite bright, the decor is simple and comfortable enough. It has to be bright really because of how busy it can get in here. We ordered a mix grill to start, along with a couple of obligatory poppadum. Forgot to get a picture of the Mix Grill but the meats were flavoursome and so tender. I definite for meat lovers! I ordered my go to because it was there on the menu, so Chicken Dhansak with Pilua rice and an extra toasted Peshwari Naan. The portions are good and the rice is large enough to share, as was the naan. The curry was tasty, chicken tender but can’t say it was the best I’ve had. But certainly no way besr being anything bad. It’s BOYB so that’s a bonus as some of the neighbouring Pakistani Restaurants don’t have the licence for it. Us getting a couple of Cobras from a shop across the road. It’s so nice to see Tooting bustling with this place being one of the vibrant draws to the high street. Would certainly come here again.

Came here around late July with my cousin. He said that it was a great place to get to karahi and I have to agree with that. I would say that this was arguably the best Karahi I had in my entire life.

I ordered Butter Chicken through Uber Eats, and the "buy one, get one free" deal was amazing. The food arrived warm and tasted fantastic!

WARNING DONT EAT HERE OR GET TAKE AWAY ORDERED FOOD AND WAS SERVED FOOD WITHING 3 MINUTES, ONION BHAGI AND PAKORA WAS OLD FOOD HEATED IN MICROWAVE AND WAS SOGGIE. WHEN I COMPLAINED I WAS GIVEN THE SAME AGAIN. DONT GO SURVICE WAS EVEN WORSE AND THEY THEN TRIED TO OVER CHARGE US AND MAKE US PAY TO ITEMS WE NEVER HAD. THEY EVEN SENT THE BOSS TO EXPLAIN THE THE FOOD IS NORMALLY HEATED IN MICROWAVE

I’m so grateful because I am hungry and they want the extra mile. I highly recommend everything to come here because they will do everything at the last minute again praise to the all-star behind the scenes, who cooks an amazing authentic meal for the customer

We had travelled an hour to visit this restaurant, and I can say it was a pleasure dining here. Excellent service,staff were friendly and attentive.The food was served hot and was very tasty and authentic.A standout for us was the lamb karahi which we all enjoyed. Unfortunately the kulfi was served hard and inedible, therefore had to be microwaved.We found the prices were affordable and overall the restaurant’s decor was nice, lively atmosphere, polite staff and excellent food. This is a must try and we will be returning!

We walked in around 6:30pm on a Friday, no lineup or wait but it got very busy around 7pm. We ordered lamb chops, chicken tikka ( boneless), and chicken charsi Karahi with plain naans. The lamb chops were by far the star of the show, excellent seasoning and cooked well, not too chewy. The chicken tikka was dry and seemed a bit old. Karahi was good and had some heat to it. Thank you to our excellent waiter and staff for managing my us promptly

Great food, my first Chicken Tikka Masala in London, didn't disappoint... Even if it was very familiar to my Canadian palette.

Our all time most favourite curry eat in and takeaway place. We are probably the highest visiting customers of all time here. The place is 95% of time top notch in quality and we love everything they serve here. From mango lassi down to Chicken Tikka Masala Karahi, which is a kind of a signature dish here. Recently one of the most popular dishes has become Chicken Korma for our family. Updated July 2022: still one of the best curry places in entire London. We just went here again and it was great.

A disappointing return trip - used to come here years ago. Kebab and Samosa Chat starters were good but the curry mains were a huge let down - they lacked flavour and there was hardly any chicken in the Chicken Karahi. We felt very rushed. The tables were packed in too tightly.

I recently ordered delivery food and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The item I ordered was misplaced and there was no communication from the restaurant about the issue. I feel dissatisfaction and a lack of trust in this restaurant. To ensure better customer service, you should prioritize proper order fulfillment and effective communication with your customers in case of any issues.The biriyani rice was not well cooked and the food arrived cold. Additionally, the portion size was much smaller than expected. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the lack of communication from the restaurant. I would not recommend ordering from this place in the future.

One of the best tasting curry houses I've been to in years. The chicken tikka karahi is a particular favourite 😍, the chicken Tika is well seasoned and a very thick sauce.

I had the chiken korma and tandoori wings. Love the way the food tasted. The whole experience was great do abit rushed.

I had two poppadoms and their sauces which was ok, nothing special. I then had a lamb curry and perswani (not sure on spelling) nann. The Nann was delicious but needed to be for £5 and the curry was ok but too salty, meat was moist but not enough of it. The bill came to £21, which I found shocking, I feel like I'm just paying for online hype. Soooo many nice restaurants in the area for cheaper, no need to come here.

What a disappointing visit particularly since this was my mums favourite restaurant but some years ago! So, roti's have shrunk, curry's have become tasteless. They used to make authentic lahori dishes and it's rubbish now. All the effort has gone into the decor and either they've lost their past brilliant chef or simply think they can rip people off with out of can currys! They don't deserve to be in tooting and it's really sad because they were the first authentic restaurant, serving exceptional dishes but no longer. There are several other restaurants there who are serving delicious and quality food closeby. My sister and I had stomach aches after our meal there yesterday. Disgraceful here.

Waoooo this is a gem. You will be blown away by the carousel of spices and flavors with every bite. A must visit for the south asian cuisine lovers. They play very tactfully with their spices in various forms for meat and vegetarian dishes. It’s not overwhelming and enhances the original taste of the food. Truth be spoken the dishes here are better than some of the best places back in the origin land. Try their seekh kebabs and various naan bread rotis.

I heard good things about this place and chose to use one of my valuable takeaway nights on them. But I have to say, and I don’t take this lightly, that this was the single worst curry I’ve ever had. Perhaps we missed the memo and they don’t really do traditional curries but regardless, the tikka masala and korma were inedible. Toxic waste coloured with cubes of what I was told was chicken but could have been rubber. I went to Tesco tonight and got a microwave tikka masala and, no joke, it was 10x better. To be fair it was Tesco’s Finest.

The staff are rude. They walk past you as you come in the shop looking in your face but don’t serve you. This has happened a couple times over the years so I will never return back into this shop again

My experience was saggy and buttery. Both the saag paneer and the butter chicken were under seasoned and left something to be desired. Flavour. The chicken looked rich being covered in a think red layer of oil but alas, that's all it was. I had more hope for the saag paneer and certainly the cooking of the dish was fine. On a Monday night after a long day of work though, I was hoping for something with more impact. On a positive note the food arrived in good time and at a good temperature.

I’ve been a regular at Lahore Karahi for years, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The food used to be amazing—flavorful and fresh—but now, the dishes are greasy and lack the taste they once had. All dishes feels heavy and oily, and the overall flavor just isn’t there anymore. It’s disappointing to see such a beloved spot lose its touch. I hope they can bring back the quality they were once known for, but for now, I can’t recommend it as much as I used to. Very disappointing…

Very poor service, I ordered online for my dinner and I got 2 naan instead of 3 and in dessert I ordered kulfi I got half cup instead of full.

I discovered Lahore Karahi through Reddit and let me say that this was hands down one of the best restaurants my wife and I have dined at in a very long time. We ordered their: Nihari, Chicken Biryani, Keema Naan, and one other dish I can't remember. Everything was PHENOMENAL! Every dish and bite was just absolutely loaded with spices, aromatics, and flavor. Seriously, it was so good my wife and I ordered another keema naan. The 3 sauces they drop off with the naan were so addicting too. I could eat them alone. There was a little accident during our meal though that involved a spill and some stains on my and my wife's clothes/shoes, but stuff happens and they did right by us. Excellent service and even better food. My only complaint is that my wife and I didn't come back a 2nd time before going home :(

Used to love the place. Last few times have been pretty bad. It's so exhausting how every busy restaurant eventually just gives up on quality.

The curry was delicious and the service brilliant. The manager was really helpful and catered for all our needs. Nadia was our waitress and was very friendly. All round a very good experience, will come back.

Worst curry I have ever had. Sag Aloo was an unrecognisable dish. Chicken skewers had so much salt on them. Left without paying. The family next table also left unhappy without paying.

The food was awful - the saag aloo was a ball of green mush on top of four potatoes & cold! We left without paying - order incorrect , food poor quality and not a great experience considering the neighbours in tooting market have superior food on offer after leaving

I ordered chicken biryani, and the experience was disappointing. The biryani was served abruptly, with a small portion of rice and barely any chicken. It wasn’t enough for one person. They only gave me one spoon—no cutlery, tissues, extra plate, or water. I wouldn’t recommend this place as the service and food quality were very poor.

A good average food experience. Seekh kebabs were good. Lamb chops were ok, but portion size is small. Samosa: both veg and meat were disappointing. Keema naan was disappointing. Had higher expectations based on reputation and instagram/youtube hype. Restaurant was a bit cold at time of visit. In my humble view not good enough to warrant a repeat visit.

Unassuming from the outside, but once inside it’s cheery and colorful. The food was great. Highly recommend the lamb skewer, chicken dishes, dal, biryani’s, and grilled hot peppers.

I had the worst experience with this restaurant! I ordered through Uber Eats, lured in by their “2-for-1” offer on kebabs. The listing showed a portion with four pieces of kebabs which is clearly visible on picture below, so I expected that each order would contain that many. Instead, they only sent two pieces per portion, claiming that the offer was just for two pieces . This is either a misleading photo or an attempt to trick customers. To make matters worse, the kebabs that arrived were burnt beyond recognition. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this meal was inedible and a complete waste. Very disappointed, and I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Very impressive online footprint and clout for a mid oily curry with a 2 hygiene rating. But at least I now understand why my girlfriend and I were ill after. Curry price is reasonable, but that's only redeeming factor. Unfortunately, flashing a Palestinian flag up on the monitors every 5 minutes neither freed Palestine nor made the food better.

Here you can sit well and eat wonderfully. We always go here when we are in London. For a long time now. If necessary, the waitress will advise you when ordering. It gets very crowded from 7 p.m. or even earlier. People come to Lahore Karati by 4th or 6th or more people. Not without reason. Everything is just right. See you soon again...

Iconic Tooting restaurant and have been coming here for years. Remember when it was all Formica tables and cricket on the TV. Gone up market now but food is still amazing if not pricier in these tough financial times.

We had high expectations of this BYOB restaurant as there was a considerable queue for a table when we visited. When we eventually got a table we waited quite a while for our order to be taken and then, throughout the service, had to ask for dishes that had been ordered but not brought to the table. The waitress seemed particularly disinterested. The food was not cheap and was disappointing - surprisingly bland, in fact.. An emotive issue, I know, but the Palestinian flag appearing on the advertising monitors in the restaurant, was, we thought, unnecessary in a commercial environment. All in all, a mildly disappointing experience.

Today, I went to the restaurant ordered a couple bits and one of the dishes, tandoori chicken, came out after we finished the meal. I had asked once where the missing dish was during my main meal but no news. When settling the bill, they insisted we pay for the tandoori chicken even though it had not still finished cooking. So, we were forced to pay for it and take it as a takeaway. Terrible service.

It was my first time visiting Lahore Karahi Tooting and it was a pleasant surprise finding desi food that’s just like back home. Nadia was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. The Nihari, Paya and Kerele we ordered was just like home cooked food. Seekh Kebabs were amazing! The Gulab Jamun for me was the highlight… I can have 50 of those it was so good. I will surely come back and will highly recommend anyone who is looking for authentic north Indian / Pakistani food in London. They are the best.

Been a few times and will keep coming back. Popular place with with queues on busy days (we booked). The service is a bit hit or miss, one server was grumpy to say the least. Didnt come here the atmosphere/service so no harm. Everyone else was friendly i should add. Mixed grill: tikka and seekh kebab were very good indeed, flavoursome and tender. Lamb chops normally a big hit were chewy and disappointing. The prawn and chicken karahi were well spiced and delicious, prawns not too tough (which is easily done). I struggle not to order karahi every time. Butter chicken a huge success, proper one not the sugary version you see in many places. I think the onion bhajis are the best in town, such a great soft texture. Lamb bhuna was the big disappointment, lamb had an off day day. Mushroom bhaji suprised and delighted. Same with bombay aloo, can be a disapointment in many places. It was quite spicy but great/ Tikka massala had a cream overload, think they made a mistake. Sag average, tarka daal spot on. Samosas, rice and breads, poppadoms all decent. BYOB too. the hits more than made up for the misses, we had a great time. Very full for £30. I will be back again and again, thanks!

I love this place, the food is cooked fresh. True flavours and when they say it's hot it actually is. The fresh naan almost melts in your hands. Highly recommended.
