The Balti Kitchen in Wandsworth

This is my go-to local Indian take away. Particularly love their chicken dansak. Great mushroom rice and paratha too. Very friendly service too if you use the collection service. I recently discovered they have a dedicated app which I have been using instead of Deliveroo etc. great work guys, keep it up!

Popped in whilst passing on foot, greeted by young friendly articulate male, I spontaneously ordered chana daal, mushroom rice, sag aloo, 2 chapatis , was told a ten minute wait . Whilst waiting a young local Indian couple entered and ordered 2 meals. On receipt of food I asked for a couple small green chilies. Nothing a problem here. Once home I ate the food with excitement, was not disappointed. The chana daal was half blended giving that textured feeling. This is not normal for a takeaway.tjis is how it should be served at a table. Yes ....now to the rice with mushrooms, again so flavourful and aromatic, the sag aloo again was on point . I consumed the dishes with a little chapatis and took my time to enjoy each mouthful. So happy as this is a local takeaway for me that I didn't even realize I had. Highly recommend this if you are looking for Indian food, quality, clean and freshly made and tasting amazing. Thank you guys ,

Been ordering here regularly for a year or so. Great food and value for money - if you download their app you get 10% off a £30 order. Delivery normally takes an hour or so but for me is a sign they are cooking fresh which is noticeable in the high quality and flavour of their food If you like spice go for the Naga or the Vindaloo or try one of their specials If not they do a great biryani and tarka daal Highly recommend!

Pedí una comida para mí y mi marido. Toda la comida era fresca, estaba muy bien presentada y no parecía grasienta (lo que es importante para mí). La comida llegó temprano y todavía muy caliente.

Main meals at this restaurant are okay, but the starters are poor and worst of all 9 times out of 10 they miss something off the order. It has happened so many times.

Very rarely leave reviews but this was outstanding quality compared to every other delivered curry I've ordered. Curries all tasted different and unique with good sauces and nice garnishes. Pathia was especially good. Only complaint is the naan a bit flour-y (too thick)

My second time ordering from Balti Kitchen and it definitely won’t be the last! Food arrived a bit earlier than expected which was perfect because I was starving! Each dish was piping hot and full of flavour! looking forward to trying more of the menu next time! Love the little extra touch of the wet wipes!

One of the best Indians I’ve had, ordered from here for years although sometimes a let down with missing items and time but the quality in food in usually to a high standard!

My mum and I ordered from The Balti Kitchen (via Just Eat) several times while we were staying in South Kensington. The food was delicious, it arrived promptly, and the delivery driver was really nice and friendly. Whats more, we were incredibly impressed with the prices. As Northerners, we spent a lot of our time in London complaining about the price of things, but The Balti Kitchen's prices were competitive with Northern takeaways, and we got 2 curries, 2 portions of chips, a rice, and a naan bread for just a little over £20. Very impressive, and we will definitely be ordering again next time we are in London.

The food was good but nothing special, a little greasy but I’ve had greasier. Nice touch giving free popadoms, fresh wipes and little chocolates. I would order from there again.

After reading all of the 5 star reviews for Balti Kitchen I had to try it! The food was delivered bang on time, the delivery driver was very friendly and polite and the food was absolutely gorgeous! The chicken Dhansak was perfectly spicy! I will absolutely be ordering from here again and I’ll be recommending it to everyone! P.S I loved the free hot hand towel!

Not usually one to leave reviews however out of the 100 some odd orders on just eat this was the most polite driver I have encountered. A** for the polite and friendliness, as well as great tasting food from the restaurant. Will definitely order again!

I always order from here and forget to review afterwards but that's strictly becaise the food is so amazing and filling that I never finish my plate and always fall asleep! Balti kitchen by far make the best curry I've tried and you get more then what you pay for! If your gonna spend £20 in mcds or nandos forget it buy food from here instead!! Love balti kitchen!

The food as always was lovely. Delivery driver was polite. I have never had any issues but I ordered a set meal for two which comes with 2 poppadoms. I ordered a extra 2 and unfortunately they were not in the order. Seemed a small thing to phone back about. I am only mentioning it now so next time I get my extra poppadoms.

Food was delicious & a very good price. Selected ASAP delivery time which was 1 hour away but food arrived very quickly (25 mins after ordered).. driver was lovely and apologised he’d forgot the 2 cans of coke but came back with them after 5 mins. will definitely order again.

Took over an hour and 20 mins to arrive when it was advised it was going take 45 mins. No explanation when I called twice. When the food got here it was cold. Tried eating the chicken after heating up in the microwave and it was awful. Ended up eating some naan and popadoms, that's it. Worst experience and curry ever. Never again.

New to the area we received a Christmas card from this take away with a menu included, we ordered for home delivery & were told it would be delivered in an hour & right on time our food arrived, delivery guy was really polite. We sat down to our meal & we're surprised by the generous portion sizes & delighted with the quality of the food & the delicious taste, not to mention the great value for money. Genuinely very happy & will order from here once a month as a pay night treat. 5 stars 10/10

Having used this restaurant since just after it first opened approx. 24 years ago, we were alarmed at how they now treat their regular customers. The food quality has definitely declined. It arrives almost 40 minutes and is cold. When questioned you get told just heat it up, sadly you can not or should not reheat chicken. It is sad because there is not really a decent indian restaurant now in the local area, but out of principal we will not return.

Have been using many takeaways in our local area for many years .. This used to be one of my favourites - but sadly the food has gone downhill .. This seems to be the case for many takeaways we experienced recently .. The food was tasteless, greasy and needed reheating .. The prawns were hard to find - when I called the manager he said that they cut them in half as they were expensive ?! The prices have gone up - but the quality has definitely gone down .. Won't be ordering from this place again for the time being .. Will read others experiences and feedback first

Avoid this takeaway! the man in the shop is the rudest person I have come across and despite the offer of free poppadoms And tikka on orders over £20 they would not give us this. Even on an order of £35 he was adamant that nothing was free and we also couldn't get the discount for collection. Expensive for a lower than average curry
