Ginger Kiss in Wandsworth

Service was really slow,though the staff were friendly,food ,some are good,a bit overpriced,took an hour for the starter to be served and another hour for the main.5 stars for me.

Very, very nice food! Welcoming atmosphere and super chill staff. I been here few times and will surely come again for my lunch or dinner. Also cocktails at the bar are made from fresh ingredients. Food is made from fresh meat fish and vegetables only - something you cannot get in most places. Location is accessible by any routes.

This was a bad one. Some friends and I came here as part of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme expecting a good Thai meal, what we got was something quite different. The dim sum was soggy, every single one of the meals was bland, and the service was incredibly slow. I believe we were waiting for well over 1.5 hours to be served, and didn't even receive cutlery until we explicitly asked. I love spicy food and asked for my meal to be served extra spicy, the waitress asked if I was sure as the chef is apparently genuinely Thai and it would be incredibly hot. However, when my meal came out it was the exact same as my partner's but with a few dried chilli flakes on top (and still managed to be one of the mildest meals I've ever eaten). Also served with the head of a bell pepper. Lovely. Last but certainly not least, there was absolutely no way this place was adhering to social distancing as people were packed in like cattle. I appreciate small businesses need all the capital they can get at the moment, but at the price of people's health? I must say I'm very disappointed, but glad we only had to pay half price. I pity anyone who has paid in full for this absolute atrocity.

Service was very slow to say the least and this was not only the case of our table. Starters were terrible, very bad (avoid at all cost the dim sum and the gyozas). The mains were bland and it's hard to get Thai food wrong but they did! And the cherry on the cake... If you are a table of more than two people...well, they only split the bill in two so they can't take more than 2 payments by card!?!? Asked to get some change to accommodate this strange policy for the 21st century, and no change available. In conclusion, if you are in the Clapham Junction area, just avoid.

Ginger Kiss hosts an extremely funny comedy night on the first Friday of every month. Also exhibits a buffet of some deliscous favorites from the regular menu and even a vegan/vegetarian option. A really good idea for groups and couples alike. Amazing food, and a unique and hilarious Comedy night all will enjoy.

Ginger Kiss has been a perfect evening for a couples night out. Elegant Interior, great atmosphere. Started with a couple of exquisite cocktails, then sampling the choice beer and wine selection for him and her. Tunes were spot on made the night flow effortlessly, really friendly and attentive staff... All in all a perfect evening.

Poor service. Frustrating wait for over an hour (we had a show to get to) only to be served raw broccoli and carrots as some sort of excuse for Pad Thai. I suspect they had run out of noodles. I’m not going back. But my friends food apparently was ok.

Booked here for a meal on Friday (29/11/19) with a group of 6 after hearing good reviews. However.... the worst dinning experience I’ve had in 2019. From start to finish this was very poor. From Service to food. Although it was a Friday night I wouldn’t say the restaurant was overly busy. We had a waitress who quite honestly didn’t care less and I got the impression she didn’t want to be there. Throwing beer bottles down on the table, short abrupt replies and not at all welcoming. Then onto the food. I had three mouthfuls of my Chicken Pad Thai. It was cold and tasted of tomato. This was after it had taken nearly and hour and a half to reach the table. Others on the table said the curry was very oily and just generally really poor quality. Asked for the manager to raise concerns.. she identified herself as the same waitress who’d been serving us from the start. Again. Couldn’t care less and tried to clear the plates away as quickly as possible to avoid the fact most still contained well over half to three quarters of the portion which had been left. We refused to pay for the mains and paid for our alcohol and starters although this was met with resistance however we point blank refused. Shame because location and settings are great. Real waste of a potentially great restaurant. Shall never return. It says something when you have a McDonalds after on route home because your staying and the food in McDonalds was better than a Thai Restaurant. I love eating out and have eaten in some top notch restaurants and also small chains so this isn’t me being over critical.

I had dinner, drinks and then a little dance in the Ginger Kiss the other day. OMG what a great place. The food was devine, the service was sublime and the atmosphere was delightful. I highly recommend this little dive. Has to be in your little black book. Cant wait to go back!

The staff are so welcoming, and accommodating. The food was really yummy, especially their prawn crackers which were freshly made (unlike other Thai restaurants in the area!). Everything is made to order so you can even amend your dish slightly, if you want.

This is the place to be on Friday nights. The food was good and the restaurant was packed, I sat in the back and was mistaken as the manager. Some customers wrote a review that I (who they assumed was the manager) was not helping but sitting on my computer instead of working... Hey, I don't work there!!! I was a customer, who was just helping friends to extra glasses of water and socializing at a couple of tables. I never went behind the counter, but people make assumptions all the time...

Saturday night was trying to find a nicer relax restaurant my friends told me about this place. I went without any expectations and we have a great experience, nice restaurant with comfort seating lovely decor. The food was delicious tasty fresh especially the Thai green coconut chicken, Beef ginger kiss. They have a nice Prosecco. after reading many good reviews we were not disappointed will visit again.
