Taslima Bangladeshi Takeaway in Bolton

Spent 30 pounds of food from here!! I've not got all night to type on herexgo through my experience but one thing I will draw on is the chicken madras!! Absolutely awful, chicken tasted cheap, the madras sauce was like water!! Very disappointed

This is the 3rd time we have ordered from here, the food arrived piping hot and in good time. Quality of food is amazing really gets those little taste buds going. Truly decent food

I have ordered the meal for two several times and each time it has been fantastic. The quality and quantity is excellent. I have the Lamb Jalfrezi the other meal is Chicken Passanda and the spice level in both is spot on. The rice is perfectly cooked and aldo one of the biggest portions i have ever had The meal also comes with Poppadoms and salad usually 4 off so two each. The starters we have are Samosa which is 2 x large samosa and Chicken Tikka strips 4 x good strips of chicken. For quality and value for money this is a hard takeaway to beat. Also the Nanns are great and the delivery is always on time.

Portions are generous, prices are reasonable and it's not swimming in oil. It was delivered in reasonable time even on a Saturday night. I really enjoyed my chicken jalfrezi.

Takes a while to deliver but won't order a curry from anywhere else , gorgeous food .

Best chicken tikka kebabs around, not many places use chicken breast fillet, usually get cheap donner type. We are regular customers and never have any problems..... sometimes they even throw in a freebie! highly recommended!

First time I've ordered from here and its the fastest delivery service for a curry house in Bolton and also the quality of food is fantastic. The garlic special balti was truly special. Would recommend going here

Amazing food, brilliant delivery - wasn’t happy about the 50p service charge to pay in cash?! Especially when you already pay an extra £1 to get delivery regardless of order price. Luckily mentioned this to the delivery driver and he knocked it off but think it’s wrong to add a charge for cash on top of already charging for delivery.

ordered last night the delivery time was 20.10 it hadn’t arrived by 20.20 so I phoned to ask how long it would be I was told the delivery driver was on his way already so won’t be long. still hadn’t turned up by 20.40 so tried phoning but was constantly hung up on must have phoned 20+ times and every time they let it ring a few times and then hung up. when the order did arrive over an hour later it was freezing and had half of it missing. this is usually our go to place for curry but won’t be ordering from here again

I ordered the food at 20:00 and called the restaurant after 2 hours as it had not arrived. The excuse they gave was that they were busy. No indication of time, just that it would be with me as soon as possible. I rang back after 2 and a half hours and the guy on the phone gave me grief about having too many orders. Still no food and I dont expect it to arrive before 23:00

ordered at 10 to 8, said delivery for 21.05. phoned the restaurant at 21.35 to ask how long, to be rudely told “it’s gone, I’m busy” and hung up. food arrived at around 22.25. when we asked the driver if the food was warm as we were told nearly an hour ago it had gone out he said he had only just picked it up. normally don’t have a single complaint here but whoever I spoke to at the restaurant was rude

Whilst the food was good, it was a massive shame that I ordered a vegetarian option and it came with chicken. Meaning I had to eat just the sides I had ordered. Will not be ordering from here again.

This was the second time we have had food from this restaurant and i would highly recommend. food is excellent & delivery fantastic. The Meat Podina is to die for & I love the Taslima sauce

I stopped ordering from here a while ago, decided to give it a go again last night and gutted I’ve wasted months of ordering from anywhere else! food was amazing, everything fresh and tasty, the naan bread was exceedingly good. came 10 mins early, piping hot, so happy can’t wait for the next one 😋

Great food & swift delivery. Would have been a higher rating, but the delivery driver went to the wrong entrance, despite us advising of the right one when we ordered, & then had an attitude when we pointed it out.

Regular customer because of the amazing curries. Unfortunately on this occasion the chicken jalfrezi had been cooked with jalapeños instead of chillies making it tasteless and with no spice. Had to be thrown away. I’ve left 2 stars rather than 1 because it’s normally perfect.

Kebab was cold, chips cold, rice cold. Asked for no veg in the curry and it was full of it and it wasn't spicy at all, the kebab meat was spicier, chucked nearly all the food away as it was cold and ruined. Charged for delivery (which was late) and the cheeky gits added on a service charge. Where was the service? First and last time I'll order from this place. Truly awful, avoid!

Food was brilliant. Will certainly order again. The delivery guy however was a grumpy sour faced so and so. Scowling like I'd upset him massively yet he'd only rung the doorbell once and we took 20 seconds to answer the door.

I order from here regularly but will never again food was too late to be eaten 2 hours after order 1 hour after promised time delivery driver was nice it wasn’t his fault but all he could say when I tried to refuse it was ring the manager which we tried many times and got no response just eat also tried as I complained and could not reach them either very poor

Food ordered at 1905. Delivered at 2120. No communication from restaurant. I rang them at about 2050 to be told that food was out with driver. Rang again at 2115 to be told that food had just left takeaway. I understand that New Year's Eve is a busy night but two and a quarter hours is way too long to wait, particularly with no communication from takeaway. Not impressed at all.

Usual Indian takeaway closed so tried this place for a change. Ordered food at 7pm, it arrived at 9:20pm!! Told us several times it was on the way (it clearly wasn't). Food was terrible too, apart from the naan bread. AVOID.

Just not up to scratch. Chips cold and hard. Cheesy naan was just a nann folder in half with some non melted grated cheese thrown in for good measure. Curry tepid. Just not worth it. Wouldn’t use again

Absolutely gorgeous everything was fresh. Popadoms crispy, curry boiling hot and naan bread really hot. Drink cold and put in a bag seperate to curry to keep cold. Best curry I’ve had in a long time!!!

Our usual takeaway wasn’t delivering so we tried here. This has proven to now change to taslima. I was very impressed with this good quality food with a prompt service.

Consistently good food and great service. Rang to ask about my order comment as it made no sense (my fault!) where most places ignore it entirely. Orders never wrong, food always hot, drinks always cold! Wouldn't mind poppadoms/chutney instead of the free salad/potato but we can't have it all ;)

I keep forgetting to leave a review because you tend to really, when there's nothing to moan about! I come back to Taslima Bangladeshi again and again because the half curry half rice is the perfect size, the chicken is tender not stringy or dry like many other takeaways, the food is always piping hot and there are never variances in quality, it's always good and not one to worry about in the morning. 🖒
