Thank you for the amazing service. The night was great, better than expected . The staff were friendly and prompt with their service and they even asked if we wanted time inbetween our starters and our mains. Didnt feel rushed whatsoever. Great ambience! Throws me back in time coming here, will be returning soon unsure when but will be back.

Wow, what an amazing experience at the royal balti house. Definitely will be returning with my family. Came with a few friends I was visiting in Bolton and the service was exceptional and the standard was kept high throughout the night. Thank you once again. See you soon.

We placed an order for delivery for the first time yesterday. As my husband has celiac disease we phoned to check what was safe and GF before placing an order on their online APP. They don’t even deserve 1 star Based on that information I placed an order and luckily I put notes on each line stating it must be Gluten free. As soon as the order was accepted we received a call to say the chips are not gluten free. Had I not put notes on their APP they would’ve just delivered the order resulting in my husband being very sick because he has a high grade intolerance to gluten. Before I comment on the food this is 100% unacceptable which they tried to down play how serious it is and I certainly wasn’t laughing and instead of taking responsibility we were offered more free onion Bhaji’s because they didn’t want to refund £5 and blamed their 3rd party order system which they choose to use. It’s NOT the customers responsibility it yours. Even after phoning you first, you still got it wrong. You should not be able to serve food to customers who have allergies when there are staff answering the phone giving inaccurate information. I was suspicious because we’ve not used these before and they came recommended . The food was terrible. I ordered chick pea puri. The bread was raw and full of grease and so were the Onion Bhaji. The curry main course was awful with a terrible after taste so everything went in the bin. Very expensive however, I’m happy to pay for honest good food but just like purple lounge the cost of a main course for a delivery is £15 to £20 per person for terrible food. Over £30 wasted so think twice about eating from here and I definitely don’t recommend Royal Balti House. It’s a shame because we had high hopes of the food being good here but we were left with having throw it away. It’s by far the worst Indian takeaway we’ve ever had. UPDATE I’M SORRY BUT YOU HAVE COMPLETELY MISSED THE POINT. WHY HAVE YOU GOT STAFF GIVING THE WRONG ALLERGY INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. IT WAS MY NOTES ON THE ORDER THAT TRIGGERED YOU CALLING US WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE JUST IGNORANTLY DELIVERED THEM WITH THE ORDER AND CAUSED MY HUSBAND TO BE VERY SICK. IT’S NO DIFFERENT TO A PERSON THAT HAS A PEANUT ALLERGY, YOU CAN KILL SOMEONE BY BEING SO NEGLIGENT. I AM SURE THE FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY WILL HAVE SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SHORT COMINGS !!! I’M INDIAN AND HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING FOR A MORE EXPENSIVE MEAL IF IT’S GOOD FOOD. UNFORTUNATELY YOURS IS TERRIBLE AND YOU CANT EVEN GET A PURI BREAD RIGHT ? YOU ALSO CANT EXPECT US TO RETURN THE FOOD TO YOU AT THAT TIME OF NIGHT.

The first visit here. After hearing people say how good it was we finally got there. Were we disappointed NO. What a great meal we had the food is excellent, and the people working there are so friendly. My go to tester is a prawn puri starter and their’s was excellent not a rubbery prawn in sight. My wife had an unusual chicken tikka cherry dish ( sorry can’t remember the name ) and I had a lamb handi both of which were faultless. I had to go and run up to the bank as it was cash only and they apologised as if it was their fault, it wasn’t it was mine for not reading the booking confirmation. Big shout out to the server, so friendly and as it was relatively quiet we had a good chat, he knows who he is. The owner give him a bit of grief for letting me go out in the cold, and my wife said it was for letting an older person go out looking for a cash machine. If I had heard him calling me an older person I would have had even more fun, 60 something and if any one stands on the bus to give me a seat they get what for! So if you (the owner) reads this, it was not the servers fault totally my own. Great evening and we will certainly be back soon.

Not been for years but went last night as party of 4 late on after attending Bolton Albert Halls. Very welcoming, very courteous, excellent food, service just as my husband and I remember. Our friends had never been before and were blown away. Thankyou for your hospitality, A* food and A* service.

Turned up and the guys were some of the nicest people I’d ever met. Handed me my food and opened the door for me when I was leaving. Got home and food was amazing. I couldn’t stop myself eating more even though I’m full! Long story short….i loved it! Will be returning very soon. 6 stars out of 5!

The best Indian food you could find is at the Royal Balti in Farnworth. The staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We went as a couple for my partners birthday but didn’t mention this until the end of the meal when a staff member asked if we were celebrating an occasion? Within minutes he had a happy birthday card and a balloon. Eat in or take out the food speaks for itself, Thankyou for a lovely evening hope to see you very soon 😀

We recently celebrated a 30th birthday at Royal Balti House in Farnworth, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully presented, making every dish memorable. The service was equally impressive; the staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our evening special. The added touch of a surprise cake and birthday card at the end truly topped off the celebration, making it feel even more personal and memorable. Royal Balti House made our night unforgettable, and we can’t recommend it highly enough for any special occasion!

Only disappointment a guest decided to have a conversation over his mobile. Why!? But do try it out. Food is good and the staff are amazing.

Just had a family meal at the Royal Balti Farnworth. What can I say , nothing but praise for the service and food. Catering for people aged 77 down to 6 every dish was superb. It was our 49th wedding anniversary and my wife's 70th birthday and the Balti did us proud

Time after time I visit balti house and never have I been disappointed or unsatisfied. No matter what I choose from the menu it is consistently excellent. I've been a loyal customer for the last few years and will continue to be for many more.

If you like curry but not sure which one to have then the Royal Balti is the place to go. Let them know what you think you like and they will advise the best for you. We have never had a bad one and had the best one ever last night. My husband had chicken tikka shashlik pilau rice and Bolti (Royal Balti special) sauce. Enjoyed an excellent meal with visiting family. Whilst not a large retaurant, the decor was pleasant and the menu exhaustive. All items were marked as to how hot they were and found to be correct for the meals we had. Portions were large and the food of high quality. Service was excellent and friendly. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Royal Balti.

Came here for a birthday on the 08/06/2024 and the food was delicious - as always. A wide selection of dishes, very tasty food. The venue is clean and the staff are friendly enough. They cater with people with disabilities although the toilet is upstairs. Always love coming here. 10/10 every time

Visited here after receiving a recommendation. Food was a good average but nothing particularly special, especially given it's more expensive than other similar restaurants. On the whole service was very good but we did have to ask for menus and service felt a bit rushed. The restaurant was very cramped and no ambience, very much an eat your food and go atmosphere. We paid £90 for a family of 4 including 2 young children (who don't eat much) and did not feel it was good value for money, will go somewhere else next time.

Whenever my family has curry, we ALWAYS order from here. My father loves this place so much every year on his bd we would all go. The jalfrezi is a MUST! I’ve tried other restaurants and the jalfrezi fails everytime, whatever balti has done to their curry I NEED THE RECIPE! 😹 this place is always my backup or number 1 spot for birthdays. They even gave my father a full chocolate cake! Cards too! Most restaurants don’t even bother until you tell them, but they messaged my father and said ‘is there any special occasions’, the consideration is really amazing. I’ll be going on my bd now for that chocolate cake 😹

It wasn’t my favourite curry, it was delivered cold, only the nan bread was hot. Delivery driver super nice and friendly and the delivery was pretty quick. I am disappointed and don’t see myself ordering again.

There’s nowhere better to go to for an Indian for me , the food is the best Indian food I have had by far with great portions and the service from Keith and his team is first class . Love coming here and well worth a 10 mile trip.

We had as good a curry as we've had anywhere in Britain. There are details here that really show the effort they put in. For example, the garlic nan was easily the best I've ever had - light, just crispy on the edges and great flavour. We shared 2 starters, had a curry each from their specials and shared rice and a nan. It was more than we could eat and everything was perfectly cooked and presented. The staff are friendly and attentive too. Top marks all round from both of us.

We went to celebrate my sons birthday as a family and the staff where wonderful. They surprised us with a balloon and card on the table they even brought out a birthday cake for my son at the end of our meal. The foods delicious, staff friendly, and we all had a lovely evening. Would definatly go again and recommend.

Waited over an hour to be so disappointed!! I was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time but never again. Food was cold because it arrived in a box not bagged up and no lid on the box either, the lamb chops were tough and the curries were greasy and very bland. If it wasn’t bad enough paying nearly £5 for a bag of chips that were full of black and green bits, then paying nearly £50 for a barely edible meal is ridiculous.

We ordered a very large takeaway for 17 people. The order was bang on time. A lot of extras thrown in. We got a free bottle of wine a birthday card. The food was amazing. Love this place. Its ran so so well

Deshi curry was OK, vegetables cooked perfectly, but couldn't really taste much flavour in the curry sauce. Naan was beautiful, light and fluffy.

Food was fine, in fact it was very good. But it was mid week and there were a handful of people in, and to be told it was 'going home time' is a bit of of order. Also the prices were a bit steep.. no starter and a drink nearly £30 pp. Don't think I'll be going again

Average. Paratha wasn’t good but curry was generally okay. Garlic rice wasn’t very garlicky to taste

The food and service here is always amazing! Hard to find somewhere that tops it. I once ordered a curry that was too spicy which I couldn’t eat, so they made me another curry to take home free of charge! They will cater to whatever you’re taste is and tweak the curries to your liking. If it’s your birthday they make a fuss of you and bring you out a cake, you can even get a free meal if you’re a member. 100% would recommend.

Went for tea with my husband and daughters. The food was hot and delicious and nicely presented. The staff are polite and friendly. The service is very good. Clean and tidy and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Loved it 👍
