Kelly is incredible! She not only organized 17 roasted dinners for our family outing but also cooked them all herself with help from her amazing staff! We all left feeling full and satisfied. The food and overall experience were flawless! The roasted dinners were enormous and delicious. She's truly fantastic!

Amazing friendly staff and owners. Made everything easy for our brothers wake and we went back for a Sunday roast absolutely fabulous food.

Last minute decision to go for a roast today at the pelican and it was outstanding , between a table of 5 we ordered the pork belly, lamb and the beef - to be able to even execute one of those dishes to that standard never mind 3 with an addition chicken also on the menu was just fabulous - very very happy and very full - and even the chicken nuggets and chips for the kids were fab, thank you pelican pub we will be back ❤️❤️❤️

Popped in for a roast with the family and it’s hands down the best roast I’ve had in a pub. Great atmosphere, great staff and lovely owner - my favourite pub! The pork belly is genuinely something that everyone has to try!

Decent boozer, uncomplicated pub. Didnt have food, after work drink was perfect. Not Weybridge prices

Had the most wonderful roast dinner at The Pelican today. Great portions and very tasty and the veg were cooked to perfection turn. Would highly recommend.

Wow this is a fantastic find. Randomly found this little gem, the menu is outstanding so many things to choose from. The service is welcoming and friendly, really couldn’t recommend this pub more. Beautiful location.

Although I live locally I've not been here before and decided to walk down for lunch and enjoy a meal and a pint, sitting in the sunshine, by the canal. Sounds wonderful. Arrived about 12.45 and sat outside at a table by the canal. All of the tables by the canal had ashtrays with yesterday's dog-ends still in them in. Whole place just felt scruffy and in need of a jolly good clean. Food service was good but the food itself was really pretty poor and not enjoyable. So, I enjoyed the walk there and I enjoyed the walk back but not the pub itself. Super position but it rather let itself down. I'll not be back.

Just been to visit this little Gem of a pub in addlestone. What a great pub by the river with superb ambiance overlooking the river. The food was amazing, very reasonably priced served by brilliant staff. Totally worth a visit and place I plan on returning soon. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well. 10/10.

Went for a meal to find out when we got there they had closed the kitchen. I was told due to a lack of customer. Not surprised!!!! Beers was all larger only. Supposedly sells real ale. Font waste your time.

Came here today for the first time to celebrate a birthday and i cannot express how amazing this place is. Beautiful place, loads of outside sitting next to canal, lovely location. Food was excellent, big portions and decent prices for nowadays. Service was quick and friendly. Couldnt recommend it more, also dog friendly! Will be returning

Lots of outside seating meant we could sit right next to the canal and watch the barges go by. There was a nice friendly atmosphere with families, people with dogs and lots of happy people enjoying a sunny Sunday. Food was delicious , service perfect and we were able to park easily. It is nt over priced like sone pubs in Weybridge but is still well maintained and welcoming. Great traditional pub.

The price of beers, apart from Fosters, I was told are all the same, which came in at a mind boggling £6.70 per pint. This is Covent Garden prices, and completely over the top for a pub in the middle of an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere outside of London. Nice enough garden, but the prices are unforgiveable. Had a decent burger off a BBQ for £6 though! Have a star for that.

We booked a table for 10 for Sunday lunch and it was ready for us when we arrived. There is no table service but it didn’t take us long to order food and drink at the bar. The food came out pretty quickly all meals were good and portions generous. The pork belly and chicken burgers were particularly good. Only took a point off for no table service which would be an issue had the pub been busier and the pint prices are a bit steep considering it’s not a gastropub.

My husband and I new to the area stubbled across The Pelican, we came as strangers but left with new friends, from the moment we arrived we were met with the warmest of welcomes, We had the Sunday roast on that first visit and have been back every Sunday since, the food is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes are amazing, worth every penny, aside from the roasts the whole menu hits the spot and there is something for everyone, Entertainment is first class show casing some amazing singers and bands, definitely cater for all music tastes, especially love the rum & reggae day, spot on and recently the PeliFest was an absolute success, the bottomless brunches are a great laugh and if you have a special occasion to celebrate they will cater it perfectly, We can not recommend The Pelican and it’s amazing staff, from the kitchen, bar and servers highly enough,

Quality and quantity of food portions is appalling! A burger for £14 is for a kid's portion compared to other pubs we have been to. Not worth the money. The Half roast chicken taste was terrible and the Homemade Southern Fried Chicken Breast Burger we had was not cooked in the middle.

I only had a drink, no food. Service was very good. It was hot and we were outside. They had a DJ and were playing soul music. People were dancing outside. Great atmosphere. Literally on the river so beautiful view. To get there was peculiar; through an industrial area with narrow roads. Only negative was finding parking.

Very disappointing. Unwelcoming not very clean. We went with a view to have a drink and something to eat but being there and seeing the dirty cutlery and tables decided to have a drink and move on. Grumpy and rude lady behind the the bar

Went for drinks to see what the pub was like as haven’t been for years. With the view to have food! We decided that on the lack of cleanliness we would not risk it The lady behind the bar was very rude and certainly didn’t make us feel welcome . Shame as we have fond memories of this establishment. Won’t be going back

New manager and a refurb going on. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Update ... The food and the cleanliness have improved really well. A lot of effort has put into the outside space. Having just returned from a Sunday lunchtime visit I want to give it more stars but I just can't. It kicked off in the beer garden and while the bar manager handled it really, it just all made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I really hope the positive changes make a difference that sticks. New update.... Continues to improve and no better local place on a hot day. Further update ... Returned for a Sunday lunch. Perfect end to a winter walk. Top notch service and three different roast dinners all cooked to perfection, with massive portions. We'll done to the Pelican Team. Very nice friendly local atmosphere. Glad to be able to up my rating to 5.

We went there tonight it was £15.60 for 2 pints of tribute and a bag of scratchings. The lady behind the bar just took our money and didn't even tell us how much it was or made any general it chat and felt she was being very rude.

The food is not expensive and the atmosphere is very nice.

Myself and a group of friends recently started to visit the pelican whilst out riding our motorbikes,we visit every tuesday evening and again every sunday,the staff are amazing and very polite and happy,the food is great and a good selection of drinks,plenty of parking aswell,great location next to the river,generally a superb place to go,i can rate this venue very highly,im sure in the summer it will be packed,come and see for yourself,you wont be dissapointed

I enjoyed a couple pints of Madri, duck roll starter and a burger here after a walk in the local area. The service was speedy, the food was fresh and tasty, sitting by the river with sun out at last! There is also an outdoor pool table here. The locals provided a jovial atmosphere, the staff were friendly and overall I think its well worth a visit to the Pelican.

A great place to spend an hour (or two) right on the river. We went for lunch and will definitely return as the food was tasty with generous portions and the staff friendly and approachable.

The Pelican's in an industrial estate, but don't let that put you off. It is right on the river with a seated terrace. We Sat inside as it was a chilly Autumn day. Close to Addlestone, so convenient for what we were doing that day. Convivial atmosphere, good music (not too loud), drinks were fine. A friend's burger looked good. Not much parking, may need to park on the road (free).

Great food, group us 15 cyclists arrived without prior notice and they served up excellent food with no fuss whatsoever. A great find.

Always feel extremely welcome and looked after by Brett and the team.

Beer was off. Avoid if you like good beer.

Noisy, busy industrial pub with good, fairly priced food. Great location for the warmer weather.

Pleasant staff, nice location, ridiculously overpriced pub grub. I know Surrey is expensive but I didn’t expect to pay Michelin Star prices for pub grub! £15.50 for a cheeseburger with bacon is total rip-off! I’ve had far better at Burger King 🙄

Dont be deceived by the location being on an industrial estate. The beer garden looks out over the river. The food was lovely and freshly cooked even without a booking it came out it a reasonable time and was at an acceptable price Service was friendly but could do with using the whole bar and not just the small section at the end A small park for the children it is a climbing frame, not swing or slide

A pub by the canal with excellent well kept London Pride. Good wholesome food at real prices served by staff who look and sound happy in their work. A live band, summer evening, excellent, thankyou all!

There were 16 of us in all who arrived as part of a canal walk. Despite sudden influx we were served speedily and cheerfully. Food was good pub fare and reasonably priced.

Great pub with great selection of beers, wine and food. Love going here when the sun is shining, you can sit right by the river and watch the boats go by. Also have bands play regularly​ mostly on Saturday nights which brings a great buzz to the place.

Came here in 2018 the food was ace and lovely location on the river one of my favourite memories with my son when he had the pelican b urger he asked me if they did any other burger because he had never had pelican before so funny still tease him to this day

Had a walk along the river and popped in for a quick half. Enjoyed sitting inside with a pack of bacon fries (best pub crisp). Reasonably priced too.

It's such a lovely pub! Beautiful outside area! And you're right on the water! We had lunch and everyone is so friendly! The food was amazing! So yummy and really good portion sizes! I'm definitely coming back! Will be a Sunday next time as I've heard such good things about their Roasts! Thank you for being so good with my daughter!

Lovely pub. Very happy with our visit on Sunday. We were a large group of friends with kids and I couldn't fault anything in terms of food (delicious Sunday Roast) or service. I would love to come again.

Nice little pub. You can sit Right by the river

It's one of the most friendly places around this area. On Sundays Yorkshire pudding is served which is a highly recommended dish.

Walk here from time to time along the river. Great place. Outdoor space is also really good in nice weather right beside the water. They allow well behaved dogs inside too which means we can bring the pooch. Food is good honest pub menu style. Portions are hearty and you get value for money. The loaded fries with veggie chilli is particularly good on a damp autumnal evening.

I cannot recommend the enough, it was outstanding and also great value for money. The surrounding is idyllic, adjacent to the canal and pet friendly also great for families.
