Been trying to book for a while but always full capacity but managed to get a seat finally after several months of waiting went to the Sunday buffet (29th September 2024) and it was amazing if I could of ate more I honestly would of, the duck was so good!! And the chicken dishes and prawn dishes was amazing! All the food was amazing Really well cooked as they brought the food out it was still sizzling from how hot it was, food was fresh tastes brilliant deffo will be coming back and with others! Oh and the dessert that was amazing a stuffed lemon 🍋 with real fresh lemon sorbet on the inside! It was amazing Parking- you can park opposite in the new multistory car park less than a 3 min walk to the place

This was a good place to eat, years ago, it is still a good place to eat, if my memory serves me correctly the food is as good now as it was years ago!

I have been to this restaurant a few times over the last 18 months or so and pleased on the whole with the quality and service. So what a disappointment when on my recent visit the dining experience left much to be desired. The service was much the same BUT THE QUALITY OF FOOD and I am talking about my meal was unrecognisable as far as the MEAT CONTENT and Poor Quality was concerned. I asked my partner to try some and give her comments on what it was supposed to be. QUESTION IS IT PORK BEEF OR LAMB she spat it out not recognising the taste or texture. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LAMB. I made a comment to the person that as I believe is the Owner or senior management who just said that's the way they cook it. Words of wisdom indeed NOT ADMIITTING THAT IT WAS SOME CHEAP OLD PIECES OF MEAT WE HAVE PASSED ON TO OUR CUSTOMERS. WELL HARD TIMES ARE COMING YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT AND WITH NO APOLOGIES FROM THIS WOMAN SHE HAS LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER or should I say Customers. I will not be patronising BEIJING RESTAURANT AGAIN. Please pass my comments onto your so called Chef.,!! FOOD JUST AWFUL. And that's the Truth.

Warm and friendly with excellent food both eat in and takeaway.

The food was terrible tasted like it had been in a microwave cold and soggy and the service was a terrible and the cleaning was not good there was still food on our knife and fork From the previous dinners and the staff was so rude when we spoke to our waiter she was tall she was very rude to us and starting abusing us because we pointed out the issue would definitely stay away

We came here the day before our wedding to do a celebratory meal with the family and it just felt really chaotic. We were sat on 2 tables in a very tight corner with hardly much space to move, and although the food was decent, the portions were TINY. The service also felt cold and rushed - it felt like we were an inconvenience. I hardly got to eat even though our table ordered twice! The bill came to over £400 and most of our table were still hungry. So disappointing as I’d picked Beijing as had a good experience before but will never be coming back again. I appreciate the restaurant was busy but given the occasion, I’d really wish they had put some effort into making it nice for us. Wish we’d taken our money elsewhere.

Had the Sunday eat as much as much as you like buffet,excellent, had all the dishes we desired and we're offered more at each stage but honestly had sufficient,staff were efficient and friendly and unlike other similar buffet deals elsewhere were not limited as to how many dishes we could order. Will definitely return.

Our local Chinese restaurant. The homemade prawn toast is very good . All of the staff are always so kind and helpful.

Very average food with average service. The food was fine but not ideal, however we ate it all and nothing worth complaining about. The service was great, water glasses constantly topped up and everything we needed was delivered quickly however we felt as if we were quite frankly, not wanted. There wasn’t a single smile in the whole of Beijing and felt as if we should have left the minute we walked in. Probably won’t be coming back too soon but the food in general wasn’t that bad, service was decent but felt the waiters were just unhappy.

Absolutely delicious food. They do eat as much as you "buffet" on Sundays but the menu and food would be brought to your table. Choose your starters, choose your mains and leave the place as a ball of fatman as I did. Lovely food, fantastic service and a loooot of it

We were staying at the Premier Inn opposite so this was the obvious choice for an evening meal. Food was good but service patchy. Made you feel rushed, not relaxed after a long drive.

After an 8 hour drive down to way bridge for a training course, I stumbled across this restaurant. Place was so busy, food was lovely, staff are so friendly and attentive and great value for money. Would absolutely recommend.

I ordered a takeaway from Beijing Restaurant which was a variation of rice, chicken and vegetable dishes. The spicy aubergine was lovely and flavourful, as well as the sweet and sour chicken. But the rice dishes were poor! How can you serve up egg fried rice/nasi goreng with no seasoning/taste?! To make matters worse, the restaurant must have used too much MSG in the food as I’ve never had such a dry mouth after eating Chinese food. Please avoid!

Been there a couple of times recently but same food same m.s.g. flavour. For price needs more extensive menu! Same dishes with choice of beef chicken fish or lamb...page after page of same dishes different meat...all same as shake it up a bit give better choices less M.S.G....very expensive for what it is get it fresh get it real .

We went there tonight for my daughter's birthday. Couldn't find fault with the place. The food we had was lovely and the lady waitress was great.

Pretty standard Chinese meal. Was hoping for a proper buffet where you can see and choose what food you want, but your cheese dishes and they bring it to you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday Banquet at the Beijing. Plenty of choice on the menu of starters and tasty Chinese meal dishes and sides. Crispy duck pancakes were lovely - my favourite (sorry no photo). We had no room for desserts though. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Wine prices were reasonable. Restaurant was spotless, choice of table sizes and children welcome. Only 2 well behaved children there when we visited.

I attended this restaurant on Sunday 5th November from the minute I entered the door. The staff was very rude. We ordered the starters. What arrived no more than three minutes after ordering so definitely pre-cooked and the worst was while my girlfriend was eating her food she pulled a hair out of her mouth.

Iv never experienced a restaurant or a service quite like this as soon as we stepped foot in to there restaurant the staff was extremely rude to the point we’re I felt very uncomfortable we ordered are food the lady that took are order spoke to us was very abrupt as I was eating I pull a hair out off my mouth which is obviously extremely unhygienic and disgusting definitely wouldn’t recommend at all.

Absolutely fabulous Restaurant the staff are extremely attentive nothing is too much trouble, the food was phenomenal one of the best Chinese meals I have had would certainly recommend and visit again. Thank you for an extremely enjoyable evening.

Delivery fine but awful food! Vegetarian bean curd satay’s were made with raw onion and had absolutely no taste whatsoever… just wet mush! Egg fried rice was just boiled rice with a bit of egg added. Duck dish had more fat than meat. Only thing that was edible was the veg spring rolls. Never order from them again.

Had a take away from here this evening and we were really disappointed, have previously had lovely meals here. All portions were small, containers only half full except rice which was full. The beef in black bean was grisly and fatty, the shredded duck was dried out, no flavour at all. The crispy shredded beef was rubbery. The only thing that was nice was the special fried rice. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to it.

Fairly average to be honest and nothing special. We walked in as we were staying at the hotel across the road. Restaurant was probably just less than half full and we could see plenty of tables for 2 unoccupied but we were asked to wait a few minutes whilst someone left and they cleaned their table so we could use it…. Seemed a bit odd ! Waitress started to clean the table and take the plates away whilst I was nearing the end of my meal. I was very surprised that they have no salt and pepper dishes. You would expect a Chinese restaurant to do salt and pepper chicken or chips.

1st time we have visited this restaurant. It will not be the last. The food is amazing as are the staff. You will not be disappointed here. Its a must if you are in Addlestone

Food is lovely, service excellent, a little bit pricey, but worth it for the higher quality of food. Not had a takeaway or ordered from the buffet but due to go back soon for a long overdue visit. Have to save up...

We’ve been coming here regularly for years but the quality of the food has deteriorated to the point it’s now completely inedible. We ordered several dishes and they arrived in less than 5 minutes. It was obvious the food had already been cooked possibly days before. It was like cardboard…. Horrible. Beijing is basically now become a fast food take away, and even then the quality is a disgrace. Certainly won’t be going there again and would advise everyone to do the same. Sorry but being honest.

Today is my second day in this restaurant and I love the food and is great value for money. The low rating is solely down to the rude lady serving food. The reason for the rudeness is most likely the fact that I am of Indian subcontinent origin because I saw the same lady speaking to other clients of British origin much more politely. I am in the UK on a White color job and I think the staff here needs to be trained about how to speak to customers politely irrespective of racial background.

Ordered a takeaway as unfortunately Bokays is closed on a Tuesday. The menu on their website is outdated, with the dishes now a more expensive then listed. The portion sizes were small. At £48 for 2 we normally expect some left over but the containers were half empty. Everything was cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. Wouldn’t use again, Bokays up the road is much better.

Had a takeaway from here on Saturday. Probably the worst we’ve had in a long time. The starters were dry, the prawn toast curled up as if it had been sat around for hours. The duck was flavourless and beyond chewy. My main beef fillet was tough and gristly. My husband’s ‘very hot’ curry wasn’t hot at all. Won’t be ordering from here again 😞

Very good service! Food was tasty and fast, been here a few times now, no issues my side. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant was not over busy and looked clean. Once we ordered our food the standards went way down for example, we ordered the sizzling beef dish a long term favourite and it was not able to be cut into pieces and was as solid as a rock. I invited the waitress to try and cut it in front of me along with the chicken balls and she wouldn’t as it clearly would not cut. For a dish at £15 it was terrible and the other dishes not up to standard . I used to visit this great restaurant many years ago but now would not take an animal there as the food quality is so poor and the response to feedback to the waitress was met with , would you like to take it away ? No thank you was my response and they charged in full despite the food being exceptionally poor quality. The waitress then invited me to leave a tip which I did, please improve the quality of the food products. Parking was very limited at this venue so your not likely to park there anyway and drive into the next Resturaunt .

The food was absolutely fabulous, the staff there were very friendly and very patient with us, and also they did not even take long to prepare the food for us, apart from that the restaurant has a very good presentation and it’s cheap but also luxurious! Interesting to see the mix of either very good or really poor reviews. All I can say is that we visited with a group of friends and had a thoroughly nice meal of several courses. Our friends are regulars at the restaurant living nearby and had recommended the visit to the Beijing. Compared to some of the awful take away restaurant’s options we have had the misfortune of ordering from, it was a great surprise to find some really good Chinese food within a few miles of us. We certainly plan to return for another meal and hope the consistency of food remains as per our recent visit. As others have mentioned though, the cost is relative for the quality.

The Beijing Addlestone delivered an excellent take away to our house in Byfleet, arriving on time by the ever smiling delivery guy all the food was piping hot. The starters of peking spare ribs and smoked chicken and satay chicken were cooked to perfection. The mains of curry and chilli beef and chow mein were indeed very tasty and just the right amount.

A lovely place and always a warm welcome! Staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is perfect for a couples night out. Food was exquisite as always - Sweet and Sour Chicken and also Pork, Crispy Chilli Beef, Spicy Szechuan Lamb and beef chow mein. High quality as always and piping hot. Highly recommend!

Went to book my 60th birthday there for 24 people they asked me to cut the numbers down to 18 or 20 I said I have 24 confirmed she said we can't do round tables of 8 together offered me 2 tables close together then one with a big gap before it. They wouldn't be part of the celebration. They didn't care it was like ohh well. It wouldn't even have been busy as I wanted the table for 6pm we would have been out by 8pm as we have little ones coming. They have turned away a lot of money Won't be ever going again or recommended it. Staff just didn't care Invites went out as husband had already spoken to them and they said it would be no problem come confirm at the end of May and pay deposit. now got to arrange somewhere else with short notice very stressful .

We popped in on our way home as we were driving past. We arrived at 9:15pm but they were happy to seat us and just made us aware they were closing at 10pm so if we could order everything together which we were happy to do as we were hungry. The service was prompt and the food came out quickly. We were very impressed with every dish that arrived, full of flavour and all tasted very fresh. We then paid the bill promptly which we also thought was well priced for the three of us with drinks. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Had Sunday buffet lunch to celebrate daughter's 17th birthday. Great food and reasonable price for food and wine. Yet another great lunch at Beijing restaurant. Some big parties making it loud but the atmosphere was still good. Food brilliant as always

Great service, friendly staff and lovely food. The staff even made the time and effort with helping the kids use chopsticks for the first time (7 & 13) and they nailed it - they even passed the mushroom test, lol ! Highly recommended this restaurant and will definitely be going back.

It’s the best Chinese in the area. It’s not cheap but in my view Chinese of good quality shouldn’t be! I would always rather pay more and have it less often. Take away or eat in is always amazing from here… just as good as La Orient used to be in Esher!

Went here last week for the first time and will defo go back, food was lovely, atmosphere was great and service was great to. There was four of us.

I've eaten Chinese food all over the country and this is by far the best. Food always taste so fresh and clean giving you such a satisfied experience and wanting to go back again and again.

Came for the Sunday buffet and the food was great. Fresh good quality and tasty dishes. And the all you can eat was great and good value. Food came out in good time and the waiters cleared away quickly too. The only thing I would say to improve on would be the time it takes to take the orders.

Over priced for poor quality food, when the food came out we realised it wasn't right once they admitted that they got it wrong they said we would have to pay for another dish, food was cold also would not recommend to anyone save your money.

Excellent service and excellent food

Sat ignored for 10 minutes at the door whilst others were served, had to walk out and back in to be noticed…. Ordered food took home then realised I’d been conned…:. Fried rice was boiled plain rice; 4 ribs in a box no sauce, black been beef just beef and water, sweet and sour sauce pot half full,…, guess I must of upset them in some way and they wanted to punish me or they and run out of food and we stretching it out….. If I was eating in would it have been different? Maybe? However £60 on a takeaway that’s verging on devious::::: Hope I never have to cross their path again and wish them bad karma, it shouldn’t be allowed to be able to take peoples money and serve them this rubbish

Ordered chicken sweet and sour hong king style, received prawn sweet and sour instead, which a family member is allergic too, violently sick since, won’t order from them ever again. Really disappointed.

Rather disappointed with my meal. Pretty meh food, which was quite expensive for how much you got. Ordered Chicken chow mein, which was 98% small brown noodles with a few small pieces of chicken, and Vienamese spring rolls (I was expecting fresh julienne veg wrapped in rice paper, but what I got was pork mince deep fried to within an inch of it's life- very greasy and unappetizing). Plus they were very quick to tidy everything away at the mere hint that you'd finished, so the meal felt very rushed. Wouldn't eat here again.

While the service was quick and staff were just about friendly .. the food was terrible , the chicken used in most of the dishes are frozen and not properly cooked. Suggest please cook / stir the frozen chicken properly.

Phoned to ask how much the all you can eat is just now asked if I need to book a they said yes Asked them if I can call back in 2 minutes When I called back they said they are fully booked I explained I just called and she said you only asked for price .......very bad communication

This is our second visit to Beijing, first time was the Sunday buffet which is exceptional value. 2nd visit didn’t disappoint either. Very professionally run and good is amazing. Highly recommended

Proper traditional Chinese restaurant, excellent meal prices good service and quality operation

We went here last Sunday for the "eat as much as you like" menu and was really impressed. Staff were very attentive, checking we had enough food, refilling tea/ water regularly etc. Food itself was very tasty. Its quite a long drive from my home, but I will certainly be making the journey again regardless.
