Se unió a un grupo de colegas a este restaurante joya bien escondido propiedad de Damien Hirst, lleno de gran parte de su obra de arte para ser hipnotizado y la famosa exhibición de vacas en el centro del restaurante. A pesar de la polémica, la comida estaba toda deliciosa que espero volver lo antes posible.

Very good Sunday lunch , we dined today beef was delicious as was the chicken, roast potatoes lovely , greens great as was Yorkshire pudding , ask for extra gravy and you get it. Service was pretty good but even when it was quiet you had to be obvious when you wanted something. But overall we will be back

We ordered the £90 steak for 2 people to share as it was a special occasion. It took 1 hour to arrive after our starter and it was a poor cut, too charred on the outside so it made it chewy and with lots of greasy fat. The 1/3 of steak that was cooked well was nice but not worth the money. The table next to us had the same dish and theirs looked great. We were clearly unlucky, they forgot our order and then when we finally got the attention of a waiter they rushed the cook and it was poor. However the manager was very nice and handled our complaint extremely well, took 30% off our bill and offered dessert, which was quite tasty. Overall it's a cool restaurant but I wouldn't go back as I feel the food would be hit and miss.

We booked for a birthday brunch at 11am - it turned out to be very quiet in the restaurant due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak - but we very much enjoyed our visit nonetheless. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. The lack of people also made it easy to have a good old look around at fantastic building and the artworks on display. Our server was also lovely and friendly. We would 100% go back.

Fantastic food and very very amenable staff. Jess was fabulous at communicating with us and everyone around was smiling and helpful. Very lovely atmosphere and accommodating staff.

Restaurant wasn’t what I expected this doesn’t mean there was anything wrong with it. But from viewing the website I probably expected a little more , especially in the way of food, again there was nothing wrong with the food but it was really just a glorified steak house

Mi piace un sacco che sono presenti nel locale immagini e opere che si rifanno alla carta del menù e quello che servono: a partire dall’opera di Damien Hist con la mucca e il gallo al quadro di Mucca e Pollo. I prezzi sono in linea con quelli di Londra. Carne ottima e servizio veloce. Consigliato prenotare!

In un quartiere in cui il weekend è sempre più difficile trovare un tavolo libero, sopratutto in un ristorante carino e ancor più in un ristorante che serve cibo europeo, e ancora che non sia molto caro, Tramshed è una benedizione. Si entra e subito si è colpiti dalla grande e splendida opera di Hirst. Il personale è veloce e professionale, il locale spazioso e allegro. I tavoli ben distanziati e grandi. Ordinate il classico Swainson chicken per più persone. Con un dolce alla fine e un drink prima di lasciare la cena è perfettamente conclusa con tanto di bevande. Il tutto per meno di 30 sterline.

After reading such mixed reviews on here I was beginning to wonder what to expect. However, I needn't have worried. Everthing was excellent. We had a slight mix-up over the reservation (our own fault) and arrived too early. We were seated in the lounge area to wait for the rest of our party, and received excellent service in a quiet nook. When our party had assembled (finally) we were seated, and our waitress looked after us very attentively. There was a great choice of dishes, all cooked to perfection and served flawlessly. I had half a pint of juicy prawns followed by a juicy ribeye steak, truffle fries and winter slaw. The slaw could have been a bit crunchier and less gloopy to be honest but that's being very picky. The only time we had to wait longer than expected was for our bill to be dealt with but as we had started so late we were one of only a few tables still being served. The rest of the crew were on a well-earned break so that delay was allowable! We finished off by exploring the gallery below. Don't miss it, there are some very imaginative pieces there. Overall a great experience, pricy but what do you expect - this is trendy London. If you want to eat cheaply cook at home, although I bet it won't be as good.

Delicious Sunday roast and excellent customer service, fantastic restaurant!

It’s lovely here. I’ve been many times and it’s always such a pleasure. The lady at reception was quite charming and our waiter was delightful. We had the beef salad which was incredibly filling for a salad and everything was just right. One person in the group had a birthday so a little piece of chocolate cake with a candle on it and happy birthday written on the plate in chocolate was brought out. The Art Gallery in the basement is always an added extra because there is inevitably an interesting show there.

Steaks are pricey (but its London) the winterslaw and Truffle chips are too die for! Overall everyone was happy with the food!

Vivace locale specializzato in carne e pollo nel quartiere di Shoreditch, che da qualche anno a questa parte sta vivendo una rinascita per quanto riguarda il divertimento (discoteche, pub, ristoranti). Noi abbiamo mangiato solo carne e un paio di dolci. La carne era molto buona. Servizio altalenante.

My partner and I went for Sunday lunch recently and were really disappointed from start to finish. The food was poor and missed multiple items from order. For what you get, the price isn’t worth it. Service was very poor too. Not only from our waiter but from the manager on duty too. We were offered free dessert for our missed starter but no one noted the missing item on our main. We forewent the free dessert as the whole experience was miserable and we were eager to leave.Will not be returning.

The restaurant was lovely. It was slightly disappointing that at 7:45pm on a Sunday there was no porterhouse or tenderstem broccoli available, which was the entirety of my wife’s order. We enjoyed what we had nonetheless.

I love the building, the atmosphere, the art and the food, but it's the brilliantly engaging service that will take me back again and again. Lovely, helpful people.

worst Sunday lunch I've ever been served! Everything was cold, the gravy was slimy and greasy, chicken was dry and the roast potatoes were yellow, waxy and undercooked. Embarassing and very expensive

It was 4pm on a Sunday and they had already run out of Porterhouse steak and broccoli. We ordered the rib eye instead and it was very poorly cut - different thickness at each end. Furthermore, the fat hadn't be rendered and was incredibly fatty - not the delicious marbling of a ribeye. Service was very good and cool restaurant.

The apple pie and custard was delicious! Thank you for the great service too.

Fourth time of visiting Tramshed. Service was a bit slow to begin with, waitress came over to take food order and we hadn’t ordered drinks. They took a while to come. We then waited too long for food order to be taken. Although a bit annoying we were with good company and we were in no rush - apart from knowing we only had two hours at the table. The food as usual was excellent. Best meat ever. 😊

Everything was quality and definitely recommending this to everyone. The service and food was amazing!

Discovered this restaurant last week and now been twice in 2 weeks. The service is the best we’ve had in london, really can not fault it, in an amazingly chilled setting . Love it

Visited last night without booking. Recieved great service and food was lovely. I ate from the vegan menu and had the mushrooms to start and the Asian salad for main , both really good . My partner had the half chicken which was also good . Thank you .

Ambience was perfect for a catch up with friends and family. The food was presented and served beautifully. The whole experience was wonderful and we would definetly book again.

Fab venue - that’s about it. The service was terrible (not the waiter himself, but desperately understaffed). We waited over half 35mins just for our order to be taken, and it wasn’t even that busy. We were SO hungry by the time the starters came out. 1 successful dish of 6, (mac n cheese). AVOID the Korean chicken. A few pieces of pre-cooked chicken reheated with sauce slopped on. LUKEWARM. Had the 3 of us not been so hungry we would have refused the food - chicken should not be partially heated up.Another long wait for mains. Steaks varied - all took serious hacking at despite steak knives. Cue some comedy moments with skidding meat and plates from the effort required. Poor cuts - one had a HUGE lump of fat (easily >1/3 of the steak) which wasn’t even partially rendered/edible & should never have left the pass. Rather than the cooking caramelising the meat, it left super bitter black marks with the burnt residue of previous meals. This is sloppy & demonstrates a lack of care & understanding for the cooking of steak. The chicken burgers were tiny. Amount of meat suitable for a children’s portion. The spaghetti portion was large, but not particularly flavourful. A case of quantity not quality.The wine we selected £40/bottle was a very poor example of a Malbec, thin & watery (to the extent we didn’t touch the second bottle). After receiving no service I got up and went to the reception to ask for an exchange (it was one sold by the glass). She confirmed she would speak to the manager and, surprise, we never heard back. It wasn’t until the waiter came back with food we asked the same question & swapped it, having sat with empty glasses for longer than acceptable.By the end of a VERY long meal, we had wrapped ourselves back in our scarves with the abundance of cold air pouring over our table. Had this not been a client business meal, where we didn’t want to make a fuss, we would have left / refused the bill. In fact, after the first wait to order, we nearly did walk out, with last trains & time elsewhere to dine being the restricting factor. Significant spend. Massively disappointed.

We chose the tramshed for a double celebration, and were delighted! The food, service, stylish decor and atmosphere at The Tramshed were second to none. The staff went out of their way to make our visit memorable and comfortable. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and well partnered with an excellent valpolicella. We will definitely be going back here! Thank you!!

Went for a Sunday lunch. Service was very slow, waiters seemed very short staffed for the area they were having to cover. Food looked lovely, was presented very well, except my plate must of been sitting on the pass too long, the beef was barely warm. The accompanying veg side dish of Kale was stone cold. Tried to attract the waiters attention to ask for my dish to be warmed up & also ask for some mustard, but after 10 minutes of trying we gave up. Sadly we didn’t have time to wait another 1/2hr to put things right. So just ate the bits of beef that were warm, avoided the kale and ate the potatoes & cauliflower cheese.

Decent food, maybe a little pricey. Really liked the Korean chicken starter. Buttermilk chicken burger was good but not great. Service was decent.

Had a working lunch here. Mental art and very hip.Service was a little slow but food was amazing! Quite expensive but could be seen as value given the area!

I went to the Tramshed for Valentines Day with my partner, obviously it was very busy so the only table/seats we could book were at the bar, but because of this we were attended to really well, the staff were lovely and friendly and provided a great service for food and drinks. The price of the food was very reasonable - loved the Beefballs and Salt and Vinegar Onion Rings! The atmosphere was nice too, we wanted to have a look in the gallery downstairs but this closed at 6pm, however the art pieces inside the restaurant provided for a nice setting for a wonderful meal and evening!

We live in Portugal but visit London regularly and Tramshed is one of our regulars. It is not as popular as it used to be say 5 years ago but still nicely busy and the food standards are as high as ever. On our penultimate visit last November we were a little disappointed as the service was not up to scratch even though it was only half full. But last Thursday, Feb 13th it was great. The Yorkshire puddings with chicken liver paté are very special, as is the whole roast chicken. Steaks are good but not as special as the chicken. We keep on going back!

Our cocktails came together with our mean meal. 4.5 pounds for an extra salade, which was a but of mixed green salade in ee little bowl.

Dined on a Sunday night and the restaurant was dead. Food came out of order and Manager was unenthused about resolving. Will never go back.

Danish the waiter was incredible. Could have asked for better service or food. Sunday lunch + drinks were great value for money

The central art work by Damien Hirst is the only good thing about this restaurant. The steak was fine but I would expect it to be for £24. I resent paying £4 per side on top of that for tiny portions and £12 for a small wine glass of wine and tonic is ridiculous. The food is OK but we ended paying £170 for a one course meal for two. The tables were all crammed next to each other and it took us forever to get served. There are way better places in London for much less. Don't bother.

Scenografica ambientazione dentro una vecchia rimessa dei tram, resaancor più scenografica dall'opera di Damien Hirst potsa su un piedistallo in mezzo alla sala. Decisamente buona la carne così come i dolci. La rib eye era veramente notevole. Buone anche le birre Hix. Unicco appunto, per i miei gusti, troppo rumoroso.

Mediocre food and service which was indifferent bordering on rude. A great experience is much more than fancy art installations.

It was absurdly over priced for what it was. The steak was decent but you'd expect that for £24. Each side was £4 and the portions were tiny, we had about 4 bits of cabbage in one. £12 for a small gin and tonic was also ridiculous. I don't mind paying that much if the food is worth it but this was just steak and chips. The restaurant has too many tables packed into it so you are practically touching your neighbours. Really disappointing, we won't be back.

Dined here 2yrs ago and had a great experience. Not so this time, food was good, but no burgers at 7pm on a Monday which 3 of our group wanted, or not having the wine we ordered was disappointing. Also the booth we were initially sat at had virtually no padding left in the seats(not at all comfortable), so we asked to be moved, which then confused the waiting staff no end, a lack of communication I'm thinking. All in all a bit dissatisfied, despite the best efforts of the staff. Would try again, as live locally but would be reluctant to recommend I'm afraid.

Fuimos el domingo a comer un asado, se quedaron sin queso de coliflor y pudines de Yorkshire alrededor de las 3 de la tarde. La carne estaba mal cocinada (salió azul por poco y bien hecha por medio). El servicio fue muy lento, tuve que pedir que se limpiaran los platos y pedir bebidas varias veces antes de que las recibiéramos.

What a terrible meal. We have previously dined at HIX in Soho and had an incredible meal, as such we expected this to be no different, especially when it comes to the steak. The reality was that they could not have been more polar opposite. Before i start i must say the Korean Chicken starter was incredible. However, my steak was significantly over cooked. They were ok about taking it back to the kitchen, however when they returned with another steak that was blue. And they had taken all of my sides. I decided to keep that steak as my friend was already halfway through her dinner. I had to request to get my sides back while i was sat with a slab of raw meat which also had no flavour to it. 10 minutes later they came out with fresh sides. Great. I'm almost through my dinner and no one bothered to tell me that was what was happening - maybe bring the steak and the sides out at the same time...? Just a terrible meal all round. Such a disappointment after an incredible meal in soho. 100% would not recommend.

Very friendly environment, staff are very welcoming and food was great! Didn’t wait too long for starters or mains. They have a very good selection of wines but not many spirits or beers. Overall had a very good experience.

Had a great time at Tramshed - good food and atmosphere and they even surprised us with a personalised birthday cake for my partner. The only problem was at the end when we went to pay, we had a Time Out voucher which our server tried to tell us we couldn't use even though I had stated it in our reservation. Luckily it was all sorted by the manager but he was quite rude initially which ruined the meal slightly.

Has Hugh expectations for dining here. The waiter was at best disinterested veering towards rude. <br /><br />The food was ok to be honest nothing special. No better than a far less expensive restaurant. <br /><br />The surroundings are probably this places saving grace.

Really do not recommend Tramshed at all. It&#039;s glorified Roast Chicken and chips. The chicken is dry &amp; tasteless. Stingy on the stuffing as well. You can get a better tasting roast chicken at Asda rotisserie! We also tried the chicken burger which again was nothing to write home about. I had such high expectations of this place given the press it&#039;s had before and just was so underwhelmed and dissatisfied it was unreal.

Food was lovely, although it was served on really small plates which made it difficult to eat.<br />The service was also very slow, we had to try and catch someone’s attention every time otherwise we would have been sat there for hours. They need more staff.

We had 2 big tables due to a last minute change however they were allocated right next to each other thanks to a helpful staff members. You could see passion, knowledge and team work.

Distinctly average food that was quite overpriced. <br /><br />Grilled chicken escalope that tasted no better than a local Wetherspoons. <br /><br />Chips the saving grace - very nice.<br /><br />Service OK. <br /><br />Barn atmosphere that some people must like - wasn’t quite for me and felt like a bit of a place that is off the M25 or service station.<br /><br />4/10 wouldn’t go back - shame as was really looking forward

I would definitely go again and try other things but some of the dishes lack a bit of finesse, and they have so many covers, it’s hard for the staff to keep up. 3 stars would feel unfair, 4 stars feels too generous when you compare it to places like berners tavern or the Wolesley.<br /><br />But glad we went - the porterhouse was great

The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and asked if they had a table - they could have sat 200 at the time...

Good food and nice staff but don’t get the bottomless because if you don’t ask for refills then you will wind up with very little for your money and at £50 a couple that’s a lot of money to waste.

Third time I’ve visited in last month<br />Each time there has been an issue with service. Either something missing, courses don’t come out at same time, very slow service.<br />Chicken is there signature but has been dry and unremarkable <br />Won’t be returning

Tramshed is good if you want to have a celebratory meal in an amazing venue. The steak was really great, as were the sides. However it feels like a victim of it&#039;s own success and on a busy Saturday night:<br />- The starters were all re-heated (the yorkshire puddings were rubbery, freezing cold and stale), and the mac and cheese had been through the oven a few times<br />- the service was shockingly poor, given the number of staff on the floor and the premium price tag. Our waitress forgot to order from half the table, then forgot loads of the orders! Then seemed very annoyed at us for asking for our food. <br /><br />All in all, we had a fun night out, but come here with a good (low maintenance) group because the staff aren&#039;t going to make your night!

Great evening, took a couple of friends who were fussy about what they eat, Korean Chicken and the meatballs were a hit. Great food and service, when there was an issue with how pink the burger was, the staff quickly rectified the situation.

Overpriced chicken and rubbish service. I would honestly recommend Nando’s above this place for chicken. Did not try the steaks so cannot comment.

Based on a concept that you see the animals in a more brutal site,I could accept it if the food was good.the food was terrible.the chicken that supposedly is the attraction of the restaurant was without any taste.the chorizo really bad.i ordered for main dish a spicy chicken which was unbeatable.the burgers we have ordered they were undercooked although we ask well cooked.the meat very expensive and not tasty.overall if you just want to have a picture of a chicken standing with its legs in a tray...go.otherwise spent your money in one of the hundreds good restaurants that are in London

L’équipe a été très accueillante, ils ont su nous conseiller sans forcément nous aiguiller sur les produits les plus chers. Une honnêteté qui nous a fait grandement plaisir. La viande était d’une qualité, d’une tendresse. Ce fut un réel plaisir. On sent que tout est fait avec plaisir.

It’s been a few years since I’ve eaten here and I remember it being better. <br />Our steaks were very fatty. The “chicken dripping chips” were basically like McDonald’s chips, thought they would be big chunky ones! Disappointed. <br />The underfloor heating was ridiculous. I asked the waiter if something could be done and he just laughed. It was so so hot!

Visited Tramshed after a year or so and I have to say, I was slightly disappointed. We were told as we were seated that we only had the table for 2.5 hours (which is plenty of time for two people). This immediately stresses me out. However, what makes it worse is that it took us a long time to get served!<br /><br />The chicken scratching and Yorkshire pudding were fabulous. Was disappointed in the Korean fried chicken. I used to love Tramshed&#039;s whole roast chicken but i found that the flavour and look of it was slightly different to how i remembered it to be - different recipe perhaps?<br /><br />I didn&#039;t hate my experience, i just didn&#039;t love it either.

Looks great but that’s where it ends. Little care taken over food and service. We sent the steak back the ribeye looked like a cheap thin slice and was not cooked properly. The chicken was dry. The Mexican salad had unidentifiable burnt items in it.<br />Service was terrible apparently the girl was not feeling well but they forgot the birthday request.

The food was great as always and the service was fantastic - our waitress was super friendly and attentive — made it a great evening

Brilliant food and attentive service

Great food and atmosphere. <br />Our food came out a bit staggered, so the four of us weren&#039;t all eating at once, and some of the side orders were then a bit cold by the time we came to eat them as they were sitting waiting. The waiter apologized of course, but we&#039;d have expected a small discount on the bill which didn&#039;t happen. We had a great evening regardless.

Ho cenato in questo ristorante a dicembre con tutta la famiglia. Ambiente informale e assolutamente simpatico. Nel mezzo troneggia un'enorme opera d'arte che ricorda il posto dove siamo (a pochi passi da un'opera di Banksy)

Requested a corner table but not given even tho the restaurant was quite empty. Servers was hard to draw attention to. Food was very good tho.

Very nice resturant, waiters very friendly and helpful. The food was reasonably priced but slightly overvalued (steak was nice but small for price), only negative is that the side dishes took a long time to arrive to the table. <br /><br />Overall a nice resturant with good food, just hoped that the steak would have been worth the full price and that the sides should have been presented with.

A lovely way to celebrate New Year’s Eve

Would have preferred a pint of beer but other than that pretty faultless!

Overall this is a fantastic restaurant. I felt that the price for the whole chicken was a bit high. It was delicious though. We shared the whole chicken as a starter and then I had a rib-eye steak for my main. It was reasonably priced and cooked to perfection.

Really vibrant place but food is not great unfortunately. We hd curry, half chicken and tenderloin of which chicken was quite nice but other dishes less great. No vegetables. Also the benches are quite worn out
