The best restaurants serving American food in East of England

Went here in 20203. Food wasn't great and the place was dirty! Went to Hensby in 2024 and it's completely close. It's the summer holidays so I'm not sure if sure its going to re-open??

My partner and I ordered a meal yesterday evening through uber eats around 8pm. Our food was delivered about 9:10pm and we opened our food to see our order was not only wrong! Plus the fries we ordered were pale, hard and very undercooked! The cheese burger was meant to be plain and it comes covered in mayo sauce I'm allergic too! The meal was inedible... The restaurant closed at 9pm but my partner called them the second we saw our meal wasn't correct, they answered the phone and we explained what happened then they hung up!! I called them back instantly and they never answered. I called over 10 times and they still didn't answer. So my partner drove to the restaurant and the staff members were still inside but locked the doors, he knocked on the door and told them what happened. They said there's nothing they can do!!Absolutely appalling!!

VERGONZOSO, los sándwiches envueltos en papel de aluminio que se hirvieron con el calor. Las patatas fritas echadas en la bolsa (ver foto) y fritas con aceite viejo confirmado por el color de las patatas fritas. La mesa donde nos sentamos era pegajosa y por lo tanto no estaba limpia. Sólo un tonto iría a comer a estos lugares.

Eww, waitress couldn’t even be bothered to wipe the table. Ordered a “American burger” came with 15 chips! & I’m not joking, the burger was nothing special either, no coleslaw or salad to accompany it. You get more at McDonald’s which is right next door!!

Had a great time here on Saturday night, good vibe and staff were lovely. Drinks were good value for money too! Thank you!

Very nice bar, mood lighting, well decorated and just has a lovely feel. Knowledgeable barman gave great service. Pub has a great range of spirits alongside a good cocktail list. Well worth a visit.

Came here to play pool and was extremely impressed with the sports theme, they had sports themed everything, even high chairs with football shirts on 🤣. Was very happy with this place. Easy 5 stars.

$18 for some lettuce leaves. What a rip off. You should drop the price/add something to the leaves to warrant the price you are charge. Perhaps someone at the top should go to The Olive Garden to see exactly what you get in a salad for a much cheaper price. We visited your restaurant in November 2021 and I mentioned the price to our waitress. The only comment she made was that she doesn't make the prices!! I wouldn't recommend you at all. You don't even respond to your emails!

Me and my daughter went bowling and to the arcades and went to henris after which we have had done numerous times in the past and have always had really good things to say about it but haven’t been for a year or so, I’ve got to say I was so disappointed had the nachos and they were awful was literally just tortilla chips poured into a basket with some some cheese sauce poured over it for £7-£8 is a rip off!! I honestly don’t mind paying money for food but I’ve got to say it was a rip off! My daughter had the child’s fish fingers and they looked like they had been fried 5 times!! I literally ate a mouthful of my meal and my daughter literally just ate her chips with her meal, I was going to talk to a member of staff but either they just didn’t look approachable or far too young to be dealing with complaints, such a massive shame they should of never changed there menu and definitely need more experienced staff!

Disappointing and to be honest this is a generous 2 based on decent staff keeping us informed. On food alone it would get a 0.5 to 1 Hotdog sausage was nice but the bun was so stale I was checking it for mould blooms! The burger was similar to that served in schools, cheap discount meat, no sauce a bare sprinkle of lettuce and onion. No pickle, No tomato (in their defence that's all as described in menu though) The chicken goujons were nice. Good potion size and crispy. The doh balls went down well with the kids. Queued 20 minutes to order and then advised another 30 mins wait for food, it arrived after 25 minutes, but still two teenagers were practically bouncing off the walls after 45 minutes wait for lunch lol. The bill for 4 drinks and 4 meals (chicken, 2 X hot dogs and burger all with chips and a portion of Doh balls) was very nearly £70 which is lot given the barely acceptable quality but then again you're paying for location and on the positive side, the staff that do give a damn, they kept everybody informed, were always busy and they were smiling! Something of a novelty these days.

Garlic and cheese had no garlic taste at all. The doner was OK. Got over charged but when I asked for receipt I got the £1 back. Busy place seems well organised, There were other customers had issues with things missing from there order.

Teapots are stained, tables are dirty, service is slow, won't be bringing my elderly parents back here.

Visited with a friend and was disappointed as the chips were soggy and my bread on my fillet burger was stale, couldn’t say if this was normal for this branch as i was on holiday and first time i’d visited. I’ve been in a lot better KFC’s up in Yorkshire.

Absolutely appalling service and products, food looks like two weeks old and tastes disgusting, just waisted £40.00, would not advise my family or friends to waist time and money over here. I included pics in a first pic is what it’s so called grilled cheese sandwich 😂
