Disappointing and to be honest this is a generous 2 based on decent staff keeping us informed. On food alone it would get a 0.5 to 1 Hotdog sausage was nice but the bun was so stale I was checking it for mould blooms! The burger was similar to that served in schools, cheap discount meat, no sauce a bare sprinkle of lettuce and onion. No pickle, No tomato (in their defence that's all as described in menu though) The chicken goujons were nice. Good potion size and crispy. The doh balls went down well with the kids. Queued 20 minutes to order and then advised another 30 mins wait for food, it arrived after 25 minutes, but still two teenagers were practically bouncing off the walls after 45 minutes wait for lunch lol. The bill for 4 drinks and 4 meals (chicken, 2 X hot dogs and burger all with chips and a portion of Doh balls) was very nearly £70 which is lot given the barely acceptable quality but then again you're paying for location and on the positive side, the staff that do give a damn, they kept everybody informed, were always busy and they were smiling! Something of a novelty these days.

Did not want food from food stands in adventure island . Want to have a proper meal sitting down having china plates and metal knives and forks. But got none of this only cheap and nasty paper cartons and wooden forks. The food was as bad as the cartons very little and might as well of eaten the carton wouldn't think the taste was any different from the food. Meant to be chicken fillet burger plus chip also some dried up pizza and so call lasagna so expensive too. I hate mc Donald's but wish we had gone there a least it would not have cost as much and the kids would have enjoyed it . Now will get reply which say they will pass on to management . Who don't give a toss

My friend and our 2 sons came for dinner here as we were in adventure island and the staff when we collected our wristbands gave us 'kids eat free' vouchers. This saved alot because kids meals are about 7 pounds each. The kids ordered a pizza each and it comes with a drink I ordered pizza fungi because I saw the chefs cooking them fresh on the premises so that was reassuring. I also ordered a portion of chips for my son and I to share and my friend had a chicken burger which come with chips. We were told the wait time was long which is fine as we were informed so we knew what to expect. The girls who clean up tables also do some live singing and they all have beautiful voices which was really sweet to listen to and a nice added touch to the restaurant. My pizza was absolutely delicious and fresh tasting. The chips were nice and 1 portion is enough for 2 to share. If you order your kid pizza I would suggest also getting chips to share as the kids pizza is a bit small so better they have something to go with it but both boys said their pizza was delicious. The customer service was good and the people who work here are professional and friendly. If you are there at 8pm through November you can also see the fireworks through the window which is a lovely experience the boys had yesterday too. Overall a decent place to eat if you happen to be at adventure island.

Went here today for my brother's 18th birthday. I ordered ceaser salad and red slushy, my brother ordered spicy pizza, chips and coke and for some reason he had an extra slushy. What happened was the waitress charged us extra for the drinks. Anyway, my mum ordered chicken ceaser salad and coke. We were literally waiting over 30 minutes just for it to arrive and the salads were expensive for what they were worth. Defiantly will not be coming back here again.

Polite staff, good service, fun places to be, with staff doing a karaoke. The kids enjoyed their hot dogs and Mac n cheese and my chips with bacon and vegan cheese was great. They even have oat milk and vegan choices.

Very friendly staff and very good atmosphere. Welcoming and happy environment. Kid friendly environment and nostalgic theme for adults. The food options are classic of a Diner and the food quality was great, decor was also a classic. All the staff here were great and friendly with 10/10 customer service skills. The staff sing while you dine which was amazing. Props to Zoe for being a great cashier and singer! Thanks for the great Experience for lunch guys!

I had an awful experience at feelgoods diner. The staff were not welcoming at all especially a young lady called Ellie. Throughout the whole time me and my family were in the restaurant she kept rolling her eyes and being very blunt and rude when I asked questions about stuff on the menu. The food was mediocre at best. The prices were shocking. The only good thing about the diner were the milkshakes downstairs in the arcade.

Had a very strange and unpleasant experience in this restaurant last Sunday. I asked a member of staff for an extra pot of cheese alongside my meal and she swore at me and stormed off saying ‘f*ck sake’. The other staff members around her looked shocked and apologised about her language but then she reappeared all smiles holding a pot of cheese for me. All the other staff had impeccable manners and lovely singing voices but this incident made me not want to bring my children to this restaurant again.

I would like to start with the wooden fork - it had two prongs. I could not tell the difference between the pizza and the cardboard box it came in. The Fanta was basically orange juice - the Oasis blackcurrant juice was fizzy than the Fanta. and the hot chocolate was 90% water. The chips were edible but still lukewarm, if you were held hostage here the hotdog would be the safest bet, the cutlery tastes better than the actual meal, I would rather have licked the chair then finish my meal. The only upside was the feel good feeling when we left, we could not get down the stairs quick enough. At least they give you a box to throw up in. I could not get enough of the staff screaming kareoke down the microphone. Over the past year this restaurant may have hospitalised 3 of my close friends. I would prefer to sell an organ than have to eat here again, I would have to sell it in order to afford the outrageous prices Cheers

I was waiting to be seated for about 5-10 minutes ,when a member of staff in black kept looking at us but never seated us until a member of staff in white did . We waited over 40 minutes for our food , when told it would be a 30 minute wait . The food arrived and it was disgusting . The bun was cold and the burger and the chip still tastes raw . They had singing waiters which some were good . The customer service was awful and the lady in the black shirt was constantly on her phone and was not paying attention to her job and the younger lady on till was so slow and i didn't feel greeted by her at all. Never going back .

Stopped by after a fun day at the beach with the kids, ordered the food and it was brought over by a waitress (who informed us her name was gabby) she served us with the brightest of smiles and was very helpful. She then went on to sing an upbeat pop song and got the kids to dance with her on the stage which they loved !! It made our day, and the pizzas are delicious.

I have visited this diner twice and both times the food was absolutely awful. The hot dogs were cold as soon as they were served, the burgers were vile, the beef was so thin and burnt, the cheese in the burger was gross and completely burnt to the meat. Thought we’d give it a second try but very disappointing, such a waste of money.

Faultless service and singing from the exceptional team at Feelgoods. The food was also of great standard, with really reasonable prices! A visit so worth while, you’d be silly to skip this place!

We visited for my husband‘s birthday. We were a table of five and arrived at 7 pm. On arrival. We were the only diners in the restaurant. Three other tables were occupied by the time that we left 9 pm. This was a sat night. The menu has changed fewer choices or maybe fewer fine dining choices. The signature dish seemed to be the steak either steak on the stone or cooked so we opted for steak. The menu even contains a little joke. “Don’t ask the chef to cook well or medium well “ I opted for medium rare so when it arrived, I struggled to find the pink meat. I also ordered some garlic bread for our daughters, it arrived smothered in cheese but no mention that it would have cheese both daughters don’t eat cheese . The waiting staff require additional training. A female server. Didn’t even apologise when I complained about my steak instead told me it would be a further 15 minutes for a new piece , that wouldn’t work as everyone else had been served. They would’ve been nearly finished when mine arrived. Her solution was to scrap the order all together, but I came to a restaurant to eat. That wasn’t a good solution, the senior server, or maybe the manager later came over and offered to compensate for the steaks and provided a discount, which is really good of him, the chips could’ve been triple cooked for that crispy restaurant feel they suspiciously look like they may have come out of a packet also . After we complained about the steaks, we didn’t receive any additional service. We had to request a desert menu, being gluten-free. I asked what was gluten-free on the menu. I was told nothing it’s not completely unusual but usually you’re offered either ice cream or sorbet. We had the feeling that we were no longer wanted so forfeited the deserts for our table of five, asked for the bill and left, one of our diners was in a wheelchair, no point did anyone offer to open the door so we navigate of the double doors ourselves and left disappointed . Positively the cocktails and the beers were delicious. My recommendation would be hire some staff that smile or are attentive, become a bar and do what you are good at. This used to be one of my husband’s favourite restaurants in Southend. I’m not sure will visit again though. Bad times!

After finding EggBros on Instagram and taking our daughter there for her birthday, we got in touch to enquire about a private hire for our baby shower as the space is beautiful, and the food even better! 🤩 the day of the shower was relaxed with such good vibes/atmosphere and all 40 of our friends and family were so impressed with everything. The team (Tom, Jade, Gracie etc.) were incredible and couldn’t do enough for us! The chefs and food were insane - honestly, the pancakes are 👌🏻😋 and everyone was raving about having to come back to try other dishes. The chefs even came out and gave the kids a little treat of a lollipop each! 🥰 The coffees (especially the mocha) were on point, as well as the smoothies! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. If you haven’t been, GO! If you’ve been thinking about going, GO! You won’t be disappointed 😊 thank you EggBros for making our baby shower so special and chilled - it was exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it! X
