I go several times to this restaurant. I enjoy the variety of the menu and the incredible atmosphere: very friendly and avant-garde! It is the best place in Southend for a night out. Great cocktails selection and trendy music always. It's "the place" to go with friends, and the place to make friends.

Great food well looked after. Went for brunch and really enjoyed everything.

Came here for a 30th birthday celebration and cannot fault it. The food was amazing, the staff were great and it was a great experience.

Got burger and chips to go. Were both good. Just drive up; they hand them to you curbside. Great for disabled.

We hadn’t been to Henry Burgers for about 6 years, but picked it as we knew we had enjoyed it in the past,and wanted to treat a friend to a decent burger. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was just as good as we remembered! We were greeted by really attentive staff who politely offered us a drink before showing us to our table. We were even offered an alternative table when another family left, incase we didn’t like out bar style seats. The food was delicious, the service exceptional and the atmosphere really great. It was mainly people enjoying a drink and a burger at the bar area when we were there about 7.30pm. We ordered deep fried gherkins with blue cheese dip, chilli cheese fries, a couple of burgers and a chicken burger with fries. All were delicious. We also enjoyed some fabulous Mojitos and a Lotus Biscoff brownie. We didn’t have to chase the staff for anything as they were really good, checking on is for drinks and to see if we needed anything. Can’t believe we left it so long to visit again, we will definitely be back sooner next time!

Been here twice, most recently last week. Was empty but we did go at a peculiar time. The chicken salad was smothered in dressing and inedible. Burger was passable and kid's burger barely passable. They did knock the salad off the bill but both of our visits have left us with the impression that this is far too expensive for the quality you receive. Won't be back a third time.

Lovely food , amazing service- incredibly attentive and polite. Only reason it isn’t a 5 star is you were unable to get to the toilet with downstairs being overly crowded. None the less will definitely be returning 😁

I've been here a couple of times, and both times, I've enjoyed the food burgers could be a bit bigger. Food is well presented and has a lot of flavour. I will be returning.

Today I have ordered food from this restaurant on Uber Ears, the food was not at all good. I ordered vegan nuggets and burgers and cauliflower wings, the patti and the nuggets are very hard and the cauliflower taste was so bland, I had to bin it.

In previous years I’ve been a big fan and supporter of Henry Burgers! But now I don’t know… my few recent meals have been really average for big prices. I think the Henry Burgers team need to have a workshop on their menu and figure out their identity. Their burgers don’t set themselves aside from an average pub burger. Seems like the passion has gone, sadly. Better places in Leigh for a burger. Chips/fries are painfully average. Chicken wings are awesome though!

So good! Clued up on gluten free for celiac. Food was great, buffalo fries were amazing! Burgers were filling. Kids were happy, service was great 👍 already booked again next month.

What I feel with Henry Burgers they always have enough on the menu for someone who is vegan or vegetarian to have a choice of what to have rather than some places that only have 1 thing. Not alot of places in Leigh have multiple options for veggies. The skin on fries are lush, vegan burgers are great! I always have the deep fried gherkins they are so yummy. The service is always welcoming and spot on. Cocktails are made with love and attention. Having that opening sky roof window is perfect for warm evenings within the eating area upstairs. Thank you for being open still and providing such great service. Please don't change! Service was attentive, food was warm in temperature and the food came out very quickly as well.

Average food; by no means bad but nothing particularly special. Slightly greasy but reasonably tasty. Service not great unfortunately.

Ordered as delivery for a vegan and a vegetarian and can vouch for the vegetrian/vegan options. Although it wasn't a cheap meal, portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. A very small issue with our food was made good by the management literally within a few hours of my partner mentioning it in a review so top service too. Will be back!

Went with a friend first time yesterday and I couldn’t believe the prices. £11 for a burger and no side. Burger was plain and dry. Friendly staff but would never go here again. Think it was £15 for other burgers.

Big fan of this place, highly recommended. Great selection of drinks, friendly staff, clean and top knosh and the best bar owner in the world!

Been here many times before, my children’s favourite place for an early dinner and been with friends a little later. Great atmosphere, food and service. Favourite place in Leigh by far.

Lovely food. Henry Burgers has never disappointed when it comes to meal quality or service. Milkshakes are ridiculously yummy as well, make sure you get one of those! Buffalo blue cheese chips were dreamy as well so I recommend that.

I liked it. Not the juiciest but pretty tasty. Sweet fries were ridiculously large. No draft, boo! Would burger here again for sure. Shame they closed the southend one.

Brilliant place to eat and drink. We went in to refuel after an action packed day at Adventure Island and they catered perfectly for our big family table of 8… welcoming and friendly atmosphere, happy staff, awesome cocktails, the yummiest milkshakes you can find and a great menu with something tasty for everyone, no matter your dietary requirements. We’ve been to Henry Burgers many times over the years. Generally been good. This will be our last visit…Appreciate everything has gone up in price, but fries no longer come included with burgers and cost £5 + so burger and fries now cost the best part of £20. WTF. I ordered the HFC chicken burger. It was nice. I ate it in 4 mouthfuls. Took maybe 2 minutes to eat. The actual chicken burger was pathetically small. We paid, left and walked over the road to Broadway grill and bought kebabs as we were still hungry.

last time i visted we ordered the burger which came with fries for £12.50 now you only get a very small burger for £12.50 on a small side plate you have to pay a extra £7.50 for fries! Just feel that its very expensive for what you get! Service was a bit hit and miss! would i go back NEVER

We had the lunch time special which was a burger and fries for £13.50 and the fries were not downsized as you can see! I had the vegan B12 burger (pictured) which was really flavoursome and the cheese melted beautifully. The service was friendly and casual and the decor was bright and breezy in the restaurant upstairs and they had a lovely area downstairs for drinks which would be great for after work or a Friday or Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Well…what can I say, Nothing but good things to say about this meal. After always saying we would grab a burger from here for months we finally made time on our lunch break and do not regret it one bit… A colleague and I had the “smokehouse” burger and chips to take away and it was INCREDIBLE! 5*! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will be back for sure!

Best burger in Essex (well, I keep searching - but yet to find something that beats it!). I’ve dined at Henry’s since it first opened, so less of a review of one experience, but more a culmination of many over many years. From quick bites to large groups for special occasions, cocktails and brunch - I’ve found it almost faultless. Must tries are the Henry Fried Chicken burger, the house Bloody Mary, some of the great selection of craft beers served in a chilled glass, deep fried pickles with blue cheese dip… and that’s just to name a few. You won’t be disappointed, and the staff are always incredibly friendly. Long may Henry’s continue to be so good!

During the olden days Burgers were not just food they were a way of living. Henners Bergers is a testament to the ideals of traditionAL bergerers time, i love brogers. Food was alright tbf bit pricey used to be 3quid for a berger in my day

On a day trip, went to Henry Burgers for a late lunch with my family. I Can't recommend highly enough. If I could give 6 stars I would. My burger was 10/10 and the chips ( my son is a chip addict ) he said are 11/10. Great food, Great service and Amazing value. Colchester needs a Henry Burger.

Booked an 'early family dinner' for 5pm for my husbands birthday. We arrived to a full on rave with live DJ. Disappointed i wasnt advised of this at the booking, travelled 30minutes. Staff not apologetic, although couldn't really tell as I couldn't hear her! Waist of a trip. Shame as have enjoyed visiting in the past. Won't waist my time again. Went to Garrards instead, very welcoming.

Henry’s is so accommodating for all age groups … I was there with my daughter (her birthday) and two of my grandchildren. Fabulous meal, service, and welcoming hospitality!! From burgers to hot brownies the food didn’t fail … thanks Henry , See you again soon x
