Paparazzi in Maldon

We arrived as a group of six on a Friday night to find a bustling restaurant. We were welcomed by friendly staff and seated at a very comfortable table. Drinks arrived quickly; there was a great cocktail selection and a good selection of draught beers. Our starters arrived promptly, as did the mains. We were all impressed with the quality and amount of food offered, so much so that we did not have room for desserts. The atmosphere was great, and the female singer was excellent. Overall, it was a great night out, and we will certainly return.

Went there last night to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, place wasn’t packed but still a fair few people in there. They had a singer by the bar area with a fair few people just sitting having drinks before dinner. Ww were shown to our table and drinks order taken, when they arrived we found out it was happy hour on the cocktails so we had two of everything which was a nice surprise and the waitress reminded us this goes on till 7pm to stock up before then. Food ordered and arrived in fair time, no complaints here, well presented and tasted fabulous, everyone’s meal was cooked to perfection and as it was so good there was a lot of tasting going on around the table ha ha. After are main meal not one of us could if in a desert. To sum up good food and drinks (my wife has always said they do the best pornstar martini she has ever had), in a nice pleasant venue with lovely friendly happy staff which makes a big difference to your night out, all at a fair price.

Was a strange experience, an almost dead restaurant with some loud singing that made it difficult to talk and a group of ladies clearly worse for wear dancing around and ‘whooping’ at the songs. Smartly dressed staff but our food was brought out by a man in a Nicce tracksuit! Super slow service considering how quiet the restaurant was. Cocktails were decent , food was very average. Overall a bizarre experience and wouldn’t go back

Got there just after 3 as traffic was horrendous so lunch time menu finished. Had to have al la carte even though we were the only ones in there. Very expensive for lunch but the menu for lunch is excellent if you arrive before 3!!! Just a shame we arrived late.

We received a wonderful welcome by a fabulous member of staff who I will describe as The Angel of the North! As we were faffing about looking at the menu outside she came to welcome us and suggest we just come in for a look, but we were made to feel so welcome and cared for, and after having a fantastic cocktail we stuck about for dinner, which really didn't disappoint! This place does bling in spades, it's spectacular! The food and drinks are excellent too, we really loved the cocktails, and the food was wonderful. Absolutely massive portions so go there hungry! I just couldn't fault it at all. Fabulous service and tasty food, you can't ask for more really.
