I used to pay a little bit more for theor kebab becaise it was not as greasy. I did advise their prices were not the average rates locally but it fell on deaf ears. The next week i went in they wanted to charge £10 for a kebab!!!!!!! No thanks, wont be going in there again

Kebab is absolutely tasty. I had a delivery today and I was surprised about the food and the quantity of it . The money really worth it. I recommend 👌

Original order placed with Uber - They did not pass it through - but the very hrlpful staff and boss at the HG helped me sort itand then told me about theit own delivery service - Food and delivery were great - will be using them again - recomended if you want good food delivered hot and tasty

First time trying this particular takeaway and the last. The place smells quite inviting as you walk in and the charcoal is smouldering away. I ordered to large lamb shish, with salad, donor in a bun and medium chips. They handed it over all tied up in a bag, except when we walked home and got in they had not put in the chips. For the amount of people working behind the counter and for amount that you have to pay, this is a pretty rookie mistake. The chips did eventually arrive after a phone call and several attempts to get the address down correctly .

Very poor service 2day staff were rude &messing around in shop.chicken nuggets completely uneatable, not cooked properly,missing part of order then refused to give money back.most of food went in the bin.

Ordered today for the first time, really impressed. Slightly pricey but definitely worth it. The surety fries were fantastic! The calzone was delicious and the chicken shish was lovely too. Big portion sizes as well. Will definitely be re-ordering.

Proper fish and chip shop that does kabab, and now it does pizza too! The pizza is really good and a very good price, definitely worth a visit, it's spotlessly clean they clean everything every night! Staff can't do enough! Very happy with everything!

Just wanted to leave a review here. I ordered from here this evening, got delivered to Danbury. I don’t have a single complaint, the food was delivered on time, the food was full of flavour and absolutely lovely. The kids meals were huge!! I could’ve been satisfied with one myself as an adult. Upon receiving delivery chips were tepid and tasted awful, delivery guy hadn't been given the salad for kebab and also had no change...extremely poor service will definitely not be using them again.

It has given food poisoning never going there again I know more people that have had food poisoning from there as well

Ordered two large chicken kebabs. Thought the portions were small to medium, especially at £12 each. Ordered some chips that were nice. Food delivered quickly.

Not good this time! Wrong order came back with correct order still wrong! Plus second rushed not good!

Wanted to try somewhere new. VERY misled by rave reviews. Quality of food VERY POOR & FOUND A HAIR IN THE COMBINATION KEBAB! Online kitchen instructions, for the most part, ignored. Food barely resembled kebabs, as we know it. Chopped Chicken Shish looked like pale chicken tikka without the normal grilled peppers & onions. Paid £4 for overpriced small portion of soggy, tasteless chips. Uncle Ben's boil in the bag rice, huge chunks of raw onion in the salads & assume jar of pickled red cabbage! 1* for the pitta bread. Rang to complain & was told manager would call back. Didn't happen. Contacted shop again to request part cash refund. Insisted on more money than was offered. Was passed to someone else who didn't speak very good English then they hung up on me! Meanwhile, had sent relative to their shop. Reluctantly & after standing our ground, received 1/2 of the money back. Disgusting way to treat a new customer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T HAVE FOOD FROM THE HEYBRIDGE GRILL! Hoping that we aren't gifted with upset tums!

So glad they opened up when they did. Been using one in Bentalls centre up the road that's gone downhill wn hill. Food here is always freshly cooked and tastes great. Staff really friendly. Would be 5 stars if you had a card machine to pay with. Definitely use these from now on. Food is great

I was looking for decent fish and chips and went here due to its Google rating, but I can't comment on the fish as the kebab smelt so good when I walked in I immediately changed my mind. The kebab was excellent and it's the first kebab shop I have ever visited that gives a napkin large and strong enough to actually be able to clean your hands with afterwards. It's not on my usual route, but next time I am passing in the evening I will definitely get another one (or try the fish)

Ordered using website didn’t see chilli pepper option and asked kindly for some to be added to salad. Get sent a whole box of them on the house which was a lovely bonus. Found it hard to find a place that I liked after moving from Rayleigh but Heybridge Grill has saved me. Big portions, fresh salad, not greasy meat and nice chips. Asked for a couple of chilli's and had an extra 8 put in no charge. Customer service above and beyond. My new regular Kebab Place.

First time using this shop. Initially a problem with delivery, driver had wrong meal but was very apologetic....was well worth the wait. Great customer service, lovely fresh salad, great chips, good portion size and the best doner meat I have ever had. Definitely will be using again.

2nd time ordering a savaloy this time it is too sofe and disgusting soon as I took a bite I had to ran to the bin and spit it out that how bad it was.

Food was fresh and delicious. Iv just never had rice turn up in my kebab. Ever. Went back to check I didn't accidentally order it and nope not even a option for rice. Plus no chilli's with the salad was a let down.
