The food was great could have used a bit better cooking but amazing service staff were lovely and the atmosphere was cheerful

Genuinely lovely people working there, friendly, efficient, great food and coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm coeliac so absolutely must have gluten-free, the staff always take great care of me, they are so nice and the Freedom Breakfast is fab and only 2.99!! People are snobby about 'Spoons, but it's always full and it really serves the community well.

She is an absolute delight—always going above and beyond to ensure I have a fantastic experience. Every time I’ve been to Ed’s, Jane’s service has been impeccable—she remembers my preferences, is always attentive, and genuinely makes me feel like a valued guest. If my granddaughter hadn't of been so hungry I wouldn't have stayed . The seating area is filthy. Floor covered in food stuff and tables unwiped. Grim

Annoyingly Nando’s was full so we ended up going next door for the worst dining experience ever. Warned as we arrived that they didn’t have much food in stock… but that was ok, we just wanted burger and chips, which they had. When ordering on the app, (as no one came to our table after we were sat down) I forgot to make it “two” child meals. I went to the till straight away to explain, but was greeted with a real attitude of “I’m not interested in helping you” After a few minutes of the guy faffing on the machine and constantly telling me he can’t promise anything to correct the order(!) (it was simply to add the kids meal reduction, which the deal was kids get a £2 meal with an adult meal)…. I just said I’ll happily just cancel it and redo it if it’s too much trouble, which was met with more huffing and puffing. I finally bit the bait and said I’ll just cancel the whole order then and go some where else, to which he quickly then said, oh it’s ok I’ll just comp it as it’s only £2. So after that fiasco, I felt like we’d finally got somewhere, but considering we were only one of the two tables being served, or should I say, NOT being served or waited on… it took over 30 mins to receive our cold food. We heard a bell ring from upstairs 20 minutes after ordering, but the staff ignored it. I assume that was our food, and probably why we got I cold 10 mins later. Just before our food arrived, I followed the sign to the toilets, but half way up the stairs I got shouted at and told they were out of order. I just replied “I was following the sign”, and the guy said “oh, checking on your food were you?” (As the kitchen was upstair)… I mean, probably a good thing, as our food then arrived, so again, I took that as a win. But, the fries were ridiculous, so thin, cold and hard. Our children’s burgers were burnt round the edges. My wife’s burger was tiny and tasteless. No one came over to check in on us, or ask about the food. Staff were just leaning at the counter on their phone, and instead of waiting us, were just waiting to go home. We ended up just leaving (as we’d already paid on the app) as no one came over, and I was too annoyed to go up and complain, we just wanted to leave at that point. Everything seemed to be a big effort for these guys, and anything they said was incredibly insincere and baiting for some sort of argument?! It was the most bizarre, awkward atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. On reflection and feeling really deflated about it the next day, I wish we had just left, but we just kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. Being nice doesn’t pay at this place. Avoid at all costs.

Qué día tan FANTÁSTICO tuvimos ayer para el partido de rugby de Gales. Entramos sin reserva y éramos 34 de nosotros. El personal era increíble. Eran muy serviciales y encantadores. Acorralaron una zona solo para nosotros y eran tan atentos y amables. Hicieron nuestra visita perfecta para el rugby. Un gran saludo a Tom, Cheyenne, Xac, Shaun & Misti que cada uno hizo todo lo posible para hacer nuestro tiempo tan divertido. Las hamburguesas también eran geniales. Muchas gracias a todos. Estamos tan contentos de saber dónde estás ahora para la próxima vez ❤️❤️❤️

Was collecting my food ordered thru their app. Food wasn't great, but it's my fault, decide to go with new item in a menu: hot cross bun with bacon and cheese. Taste is not really there, it's very meh item, I should have gone with something classic. I can see many customers complain about service, but mine was ok: guy was helpful, we even shared some thoughts about how small order number is in the app, it's not distinct at all. Place seemed clear, it was quiet, not many customers in.

They delivered the wrong food when it turned up, called to explain they got it wrong and then they said it's "impossible" lol theses ain't what we ordered here's the proof.

It was okay I guess? it's Russian roulette. We all ordered the Monday night special (mix of Pulled pork, Pork Ribs & chicken). I would definitely not recommend this, even if it is unlimited, because honestly, you won't eat that much. Everything overall was JUST DRY. It must be cooked off-site/ sitting there cold then reheated because by the time it gets to your plate; the chicken breast is like trying to chew through clay & the pulled pork needs to be studied by scientists to find out how something covered in sauce can be so dry & stringy. The only redeeming element was the pork ribs, but only by comparison. Our waitress was nice, however after our first order, items would come with things missing (not her fault) & the kitchen porter was on auto pilot the whole time. I've given three stars because last time we remember the brisket & smoked sausage were good. So maybe this time we got unlucky? I really don't like giving bad reviews but felt people should know. Don't think I'd return to Gamble on the food. Should Rename themselves to MID EASY

Refused to take to ward 37 as per delivery instructions. Did not leave at reception either but marked as delivered. Not answering phone and no idea where food is. Very rude driver.

Useless useless employees, food took 20 minutes, not all items were delivered, waited at counter for an additional 10, because no one is able to do their jobs. If you’re in a rush, don’t bother. Rude staff, incompetent staff, do not go if you value your time, sanity, or warm food.
