My order was Missing All the Fries to each meal an order

Awful. The two meals we ordered both came without chips and then the cheeseburger in the happy meal for my 5 year old was smothered in chilli sauce and jalapeños but wrapped as a normal cheeseburger. So one child with nothing but a drink and a burning mouth and 1 child with chicken strips and a drink. Called to complain and “there’s nothing they can do”. Absolutely shocking.

We ordered 5 meals through the app. Only 3 got delivered and the rest was freezing. Called the restaurant who refused to help and said contact uber. Uber have refused to deal with the matter so in short McDonald and uber have defrauded us.

food ordered at 5.43pm. It's now 8.18 and I'm still waiting for it. 2.5 hours is totally unacceptable.

Drive thru, made me think? I I looked it up, the term is associated with something called fast food meaning prompt service. During my 42 minute experience waiting for a Big Mac I listened to Christmas songs and reflecting on life, even answered a cold call and listened to the wonderful offers/intentions they had for my pension, I surmised that this is not a drive thru, it’s more arrive, park and wait and watch life pass you by. Service is something that is no longer considered a priority and definitely a failing of the chain……customers before profit, no customers = no profit….

my order didn't arrive till 2 hours after I ordered it. the delivery took about 45 minuits. when my food arrived my drink had fully leaked all over the food. it wasnt edible at all and there was no drink left because it had all leaked

I’ve had mixed experiences at this McDonald’s, and unfortunately my most recent visit left a lot to be desired. The food was cold and tasted off, almost like it had been sitting out for hours. It lacked the freshness and quality you’d expect, even from a fast food chain. It’s frustrating when you’re paying for something quick and convenient but end up with a meal that feels subpar. That said, it’s not always like this. I’ve been here on other occasions when they’ve gotten it right—the food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you’d hope from McDonald’s. The inconsistency is the main issue. It’s hit-or-miss depending on the day, which makes it hard to know what kind of experience you’ll get. I really hope they can work on being more consistent with food quality, and freshness moving forward. Also they really need to clean the restaurant, it’s filthy, especially the toilets.

Avoid when busy! If it's busy odds are your order could be wrong. Watch out for cold things. Order custom. Otherwise if you go in avoid busy times as it feels like it teleports you to a rough part of Doncaster. Does not have the charm of a retro USA Mcdonalds. (Sad the McDonald's diners never made it to the UK!) Hopefully as upper management changes they will make McDonald's great agian.

Not sure why but this Knaresborough McDonald's is always great quality. Always has been. It's always a treat knowing I'm not having any of the York ones which are often poor quality, when everything should be the same! Always pop in when driving past 🤤

Ordered hashbrown along with egg muffin and regular latte but received pineapple and egg muffin and latte. That custom service manager lady acted like she hates me and refused to change!

I ordered my food to be delivered at 8:05 it didn't arrive until 9 and there was bits missing from the order, have had trouble in the past but this is the last straw, won't be ordering again.

I ordered a crispy chicken burger with bacon when I got home and opened it. I was very disappointed as only got the chicken burger in the bun, no bacon or anything. And my partner got a double cheese burger and he also got no filling. We was very disappointed. We couldn't eat them as very dry.

It's not as good as Ripon McDonald's. Always longer to wait, order is always a bit iffy on whether the special variances get done and my real big bear is there is nowhere really to park up nice to have your snack except a busy car park. Oh yes and watch the drive thru exit. It's very busy and quite dangerous to turn right.

Just to provide some context, we got a takeout. This place always forgets food. MAIN PARTS OF FOOD. THEY FORGOT ALL OF MY WRAP. Very disappointing. They forgot a whole 20 chicken nuggets, mixed up drinks. SHE IS ALLERGIC TO THE DRINK THEY GAVE HER. Trying to kill her? I understand that sometimes mistakes are made but this is too far. THEY DID IT AGAIN. As I was writing this, she looked at her milkshake and yet again they’ve mixed it up. SHE IS ALLERGIC!!!!!

We tried the McDonald's on a retail park just outside Harrogate. Absolutely awful. Cold food which was thrown together. We normally like McDonald's but this outlet was truly dire.

Just called for some drinks. In drive through. Staff cannot be bothered at all. I know there on basic wages but come on. No ice in drink. No fizz and warm coke. Just what I wanted NOT. Won't be going back

Waited ages and I mean ages for two burgers. Nothing special just very slow. I actually wrote this review while waiting.

Food was early but still cold. Not the first time. Also screwed up my order previously and sent someone else's family meal.

My review is that this place is: consistently terrible! How the people concerned have managed to 'hold on' to this McDonald's Franchise for so long is completely beyond me. The breakfasts are awful - the muffins are not sufficiently defrosted enough and are rock hard with the same chuck missing everytime, the sausage is burnt, the egg 🤮 frequently having shell in it, the hash browns are soaking in fat and the cappuccino resembles a cup of mud with spital on top! The bacon and cheese flatbread tastes like cardboard (probably is)., and dont even get me started on the wraps that are executed with the same lacklustre effort. The famous Big Mac is thrown together (and presumably kicked around the floor) with far too much lettuce, big mac sauce anywhere but on/in the burger itself and the fries are never cooked properly, generally soggy and cold, salt anyone?! You are also incapable of serving a nice tasting beverage - from a machine!! You have to check the syrup levels!!! and good luck trying to order a milkshake. "Machine's broken." Napkins, extra sauce?" Apparently not, then?! And the staff....🙄 with the slim exception of one or two - these people really don't give a flying crap about you ordering - "What you want?" the quality of the food, your customer satisfaction or experience. The staff get there, work their shift, and are out of there (doubt they even eat the food!) No, "Have a nice day!" offered up here. Avoid this place! Do not waste your hard earned money. You will be disappointed - guaranteed! Drive further to Wetherby Services if needs must! You would think 'the McDonald's quality control people' from this global multi-billion dollar company would be trying to protect their product and brand in this little corner of Yorkshire......evidently not! Sort it out! Just when there have been glimmers of hope and improvement on the horizon (the American or Canadian Manager guy who briefly showed up, but disappeared again, the decent, hard-working, polite eastern European staff additions). But no, true to form, as it's been for years here.....poor, rubbish, disappointing, why do we keep giving you chance, after chance? Every other McDonald's we have visited in the entire world is better than you! Thanks a lot for consistently wrecking our McDonald's experience. 🤢😩😡

Good delivery but not happy asked for sauces with chicken share box nothing given, also added extra cheese on burger none added what's the point having the option to buy if you do get it. May as well just rob the money.

Have ordered from McDonalds on a couple of occasions before today and it’s been fine - today however was not . The food arrived cold - it was to be delivered less than a mile away so in theory would not have lost that much heat in that distance even with a drop off before us which makes me think the food was cold before the courier picked it up. I expect a little better from McDonalds!
