So shocked to see a poor service from TGIF. It took half n hour for a staff to take my order. In the meantime we saw a family leave due to the delay in service. Funny fact is the family who had left, was seated before us. Currently the time right now is 8.30pm and it really took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. Really disappointed. Having second thoughts of visiting this place again. Been to a variety of TGIF around the world, and their services was amazing, but Leceister Square branch failed all expectations.

The waiter barely spoke to us and never checked on us, I had to flag staff for refils, and the floor was littered with other people's food squashed on the floor around us. And when it came to paying, I had to walk over to the counter and ask to pay as I was tired of waiting to ask for the bill. Altogether, AVOID !!!!, the food is good but terrible service spoils the experience which is the point of eating out. If you want to wait an hour for a burger and terrible service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to Hard Rock just down the road, the staff there are so attentive and helpful and the food is better portions for same price. Plus, the decor there beats TGI.

Ordered the Ultimate American Grill. Took an age to come, it wasnt hot and we were missing items listed. Asked for them but they never arrived even though they said they'd bring them out. The food was average. I wouldn't bother with this location, certainly won't be eating at this chain in future.

Perfect experience! Enjoyed a lovely catch up with a friend,l. Fun settings, casual dress code. Our host Paasshee (hope I spelt it right lol) was very helpful when it came to making our choice of what to eat, along with bringing positive vibes. Venue is nice and clean, food and dessert was tasty, I'd definitely recommend and will be visiting again as this branch seemed a lot better than others I have been to. Only downside is that TGI Friday is a bit over priced, we did have a few jump scares going through the menu pricing lol But they say you get what you pay for ey

Long waiting time for tables, food, drinks as well as paying. The menu felt limited compared to many other TGIF restaurants and when the food was served it was cold. The wait staff felt understaffed and that made the experience suffer. The toilets felt stale and the whole place would probably benefit from a renovation and a fresh start. The drinks in the bar felt good, but otherwise the visit left a lot to be desired.

I know the TGI from several large cities and unfortunately the one in Vienna closed a few years ago. The ambience and service have always been great at TGI, including here in London. I also think the idea of ​​the “Endless Refill” for 4.95 is brilliant. But - the food is average and the worst of all the TGIs I know of. Plus, you get almost nothing on your plate for the price. There were three of us and we left over £80 - 1 starter, 3 normal mains, 3x refill Coke

Cool restaurant right on Leicester Square in downtown London. Prices are rather high and the quality of the food is mediocre to good. You can tell that everything is geared towards tourism and the places are filled as quickly as possible. Service was ok. Ambiance is definitely great. Beautifully and modernly furnished.

After booking a table we were still left waiting for a table in a queue. We where sat down and completely forgotten about for around 15 minutes, when our order was eventually taken we waited 10/15 minutes for a coke and a Dr Pepper (cocktail prices are astronomical at £19). We received our starter 35 minutes after ordering at which point we were sat down 50 minutes already. The main course quickly followed after asking the waiting staff how long it would take. The the first beef patty was cooked to perfection, the second one was burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing level of service and quality of food in the end especially considering the prices. I would strongly suggest going to different TGI Friday branches and around this location as they can’t seem to cope with the volume of people (despite some wait staff standing around doing nothing)

I usually love TGI Fridays but I had a terrible experience here. Booked a table but were treated like kids in trouble at school by the hosts and bar staff...then when we were finally seated the service was far worse. Took forever to take our order and our food took ages to arrive. It arrived before our drinks did and we had no cutlery. We had to ask about three different servers for our drinks and cutlery and they weren't apologetic at all...food was good and drinks were fine but atmosphere and staff a joke. We had to physically go up and chase our waiter down to pay the bill because we'd already asked twice. We were late for our event because we had only expected to spend an hour and a half there but we were there for over two hours because the service was so bad. The whole place seemed a bit dirty too and totally chaotic - so disappointed!

For a price of 30 to 40 pounds it's not really worth it, as the service deteriorates a lot, the restaurant tries to sell something far below the actual quality it presents. As if the dish shown was one, but the dish it arrives at is something totally different, as if it came out of a horror movie, the taste wasn't really good compared to Brazil or the USA, as well as they also lack quantity, since the portions are extremely small, probably having fewer calories compared to what is shown on the menu.

We ordered ultimate pork ribs, it didnt look like the pic on menu or on ig, its bone is short and thin, looks like baby pork ribs. Plus, other restaurants baby ribs is a lot bigger then their ultimate ribs! I had been other TGI Fridays years ago, the taste and the dish size are totally different. Never come here again.

Not the best TGI Fridays. The one in the O2 arena is far superior. Siobhan our waitress was brilliant, I could not fault her. Food arrived quick and tasted good. Atmosphere is not great, we were quite happy to eat and go. The place is freezing, so make sure you wrap up.

It was my first time eating here and I cannot say that I'm impressed at all. I usually don't leave reviews but my dining experience here was subpar, I do not want others going through the same. Firstly, the wait time is unbelievable. Me and my family waited incredibly long, an hour from ordering, for our food to arrive. When the food finally did arrive, it honestly was not worth the wait, the same quality of food could be found anywhere else at another American food restaurant. Not only that but waiting for service was unpleasantly long too. We all gave staff our benefit of doubt, thinking they might have to serve other tables or had other tasks to do, but everytime for about 20-30 minutes, when we requested service we were told "I'll get someone to take your order" or "Someone will be with you in a moment". Constantly passing the job onto someone else and nobody actually doing anything till long after. The cutlery we also asked for were also sticky? Not a big deal but not a nice feeling eating with cutlery that doesn't feel clean. Drink refills also took weirdly long for it just being drinks, one round of refills arriving when we were finished eating and ready to leave. And for a restaurant that has quite a lot of tables it seems to be understaffed. Everytime a waiter spoke to us, it seemed rushed so it wasn't a comfortable experience. Overall, it was alright. Service could do a lot better. Normal food, slow service but quick to come take payment from us. Maybe our experience was a one off but defintely will be rethinking TGI's as an option if I want American.

I've eaten at many TGIs over the years from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, London and more. This one is by far the worst I've ever experienced for service. After waiting 21 minutes to be seated (it wasn't busy, the person seating people was on a smoke break outside) they came back in took off their top and got to cleaning tables, no hand washing though, anyways we finally get seated in a booth too small for me but hey ho, I ask for an allergy menu, your server will bring it to you when they come over I'm told, 8 minutes later whent hey shout up thy tell me I just need scan the back of the menu, so nearly 30cminytes after walking in the place we walked out. Never seen such a shabbily run TGIs.

Had a late lunch/ early dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Hadn't been to TGI's in years and had no idea they had so many Vegan options. I had the 'No chicken' Fajitas. Really delicious. It would be nice if the Fajita mix had more peppers and veg in it though, and less of the 'no Chicken'. Some Vegan Sour Cream would be nice too. Maybe change this for the future?? Was served by a young lady whose name was Nicole. Brilliant service!!! The whole experience was beyond my expectations for this type of chain. Will defintely go back again soon.

The worst experience we have ever had in life, they told us it was full when it was literally empty, they had 3 tables full, we asked for the children's menu, a waitress gave them to us, then we ordered the adult ones at 9.10 pm. They gave them to us without problems and when we went to order they told us that the kitchen closed at 9. What I don't understand is the work there, they give us menus and leave us without dinner, with two children, the manager told me that he would give me the money back. money for the 3 beers we had ordered but to our surprise we couldn't finish them becausethe manager refunded the money. very bad experience with the staff. I work in the same sector and I have never seen so little professionalism. If you can avoid that bad moment... there is a restaurant on the corner where they treated us great, not like in this place. That's happen 5 of April. 9 people without food. I'm not recommended this place at all. The blonde waitress and the manager( guy) was terrible. Unfortunately I forget to ask for they're name.

Came here for my best friend’s birthday. Experience was terrible. We had a table pre booked and told it was going to be about a 10-15 minute wait for food. We had ample time when we arrived to have our food and make it to our show in Leicester Square, the server was made aware of this at the start. We ended up missing our show. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks. And so did the tables around us. Our starter was fine but the potato skins were cold and they brought us to us twice when we just wanted our mains. Mains took well over an hour and half to make it to the table. We were constantly being told “5 more minutes” over the course of that hour and a half. Missed our show and the birthday girl was stressed at this point. Our server was a bit rude when we asked to cancel our mains and speak to a manager. The manager never cane over, we had to find him ourselves. He did accommodate us with a free round of drinks, which our server still put on the bill and then had to take off. The manager made us pay for the mains still, which we had originally canceled and was the issue to begin with. He had brought us over shots which he offered, but we never ordered and insisted that because we accepted those shots we had to pay for the mains. The only reason we happily paid was because the birthday girl did enjoy her food and she just wanted to leave, but the rest of our food was cold and not very good. The manager just wasn’t as apologetic as he seemed and ended up being shady in the end of it. It was honestly just the worst experience in customer service in my life and I’ve worked in the service industry 10+ years.

We have been there twice before with the kids but I think this is our last visit. Even for a central fast food restaurant, I would expect at least an eadable food! Medium Steak was overdone we couldn't eat it. Cocktails were not drinkable.. I'm not sure how they managed to make such awful drinks. Table and seats were so dirty. At 6:15 we left TGIs as there was no sign of the food arriving. All staff ignored our requests for info. Had to go an get a sandwich in Sainsbury’s to eat on way back to the theatre. Not impressed at all.

Waiting 30 minutes for our food to then have them bring out our starters and mains together. They did not take the Mains back and therefore it was cold and dry when we got to eat them. Very bad service from them and time management.

Had been before with kids and was fine - what you would expect for uber-touristy Leicester Square. But today was dreadful. It took 20 minutes to order, an hour from being seated for food to arrive, and the cocktails were undrinkable, and the steak on the platter completely inedible. Servers were over-stretched, but other areas you could see lazy staff members hanging around and joking. Was not given kids meal for free despite having the app where it is advertised as so. Simply won’t be back again after this.

Waited almost an hour for food. We reserved a table as we were going to the theatre and all the staff did was make up excuses and walk away. We ended up going to the nearby Sainsbury’s instead for dinner and not paying for food or drinks.

Nice and tidy, hosted an event my son attending. Food good, bar area pleasant and staff very good. Queue to enter did appear to get a bit out of hand but it is in the tourist hot spot so consideration given.
