Service was shocking. We were about 40 mins sitting before our order was taken. Kids getting hungry and anxious. I had to chase down a staff member to get service. It wasn't his area but he was helpful when I flagged him down. I tried to order a drink and was ignored at the bar as well. The food was pretty good when we got it to be fair. We wouldn't go back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at TGI Friday’s, where I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere that is ideal for a casual night out. Although it had been a few years since my last visit, I found the experience to be quite enjoyable. The ribs I ordered (full rack ultimate) were tender and bursting with flavor; however, I felt that the glaze was somewhat limited, and a more generous portion would significantly enhance the dish. While I appreciated the 2-for-1 cocktail deal, I found the overall price of £19 to be a bit steep, and I anticipated a greater value for the cost. Nevertheless, TGI Friday’s provides a pleasant dining experience, with a diverse menu that caters well to families and children. I look forward to my next visit.

Honestly so disappointing. We waited for ages before getting sent to the bar where we were told it was 241 on cocktail but then got charged £18/19 We asked why they said 1 cocktail is that much. That’s not a deal that’s just misleading. That’s just selling 2 cocktails for the price of 2 cocktails by making 1 cocktail the price of 2. We waited for ages again to be sat. Then we saw the prices. For what it is, it’s extortionate. We decided there was better food to be had elsewhere but we thought may as well get a starter to share so paid like £9.95 (roughly) but what came out was tiny and nothing like the picture. It sounded good on the menu but looked like something I could get out the freezer section at Aldi and was tasteless. At least we got a giggle. It also took over 30 mins for the tiny deep fried cheese dish to come out and took ages to ever order and took ages to get the bill it was just long and expensive and not worth it. It’s a tourist trap and that’s about it

You get what you expect really. One of the nicer TGI’s but once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. Tasty food and fast delivery for reasonable prices

It was great. Every TGI are great and the the ambience is always unique. The food was amazing although i couldn’t ask for the kids menu but i ate an appetizer option never tried and it was incredible! It came quick and Sam B who was our waiter was so nice!

Food is always great. We hadn't booked but was lucky enough to get a table quickly. Only downside was lighting was very dark where we sat and couldn't read the menu well.

Second time I go and I still think everything is wonderful.

Honestly I ordered an old fashioned from a bartender called Kaz, and I was blown away, it's probably the best old fashioned I've had for 20 years, the price was reasonable but if I'm honest I would pay double for the one I was served. Don't knock TGI as a 90's leftover, the cocktail bartenders know their stuff. Cheers Kaz !

Food was amazing! Service shocking!!! First waitress didn’t speak English so we had to go to the bar as we were missing part of our order. Wanted to order drinks no one served us for 20min. Tried to pay the bill had to make couldn’t as staff were dancing in the kitchen. Security guard had to help us pay the bill! Cannot believe that staff and management were so unprofessional

I am not putting this here to complaint but really to educate and hope that improvements are made. When arriving the host did not even welcome us or say hi. All I got was stared and and I ended up speaking first and saying he we.have a booking. When walking round the restraunt the tables that was empty where filthy and with food all over the place. When coming in you don't really. Want to be seeing that. We waited for over 15 mins for drinks when we could see that the bar staff where just chatting. While we understand that it can be busy but 30 mins later our food did not turn up and was not told there was a delay. And ended up waiting 45 minutes for food as one serve say they are busy and the restaurant was full but yet most of the tables where full lof rubish and empty we found plastic in the food which was rather off putting. The server could not be poligetic enough and even the manager came over. It really put us off. The food was luck warm. We could see that the staff on shift where overwhelmed and our serve was working hard but others not really doing much. Sadly really put off. We cam for a.bir5hday meal but really just wanted to go and it really was not a great night. And put a sligh5 downer on our day. I am hoping this is used.to help improve fridays.

Mid afternoon dinner. Around 10 tables occupied so you would expect food to be freshly cooked and hot. What we got was the exact opposite. I would add that we did complain at the restaurant. Ordered Nachos with added pulled pork as a starter. Nachos arrived covered in a mass of different sauces with a very small amount of pulled pork. Nachos were a soggy mess. Pulled pork was luke warm. Whilst still eating our starters the mains arrived. When we commented this the server said our food could be put under the hot lamps! No-one wants “kept warm” food so we just accepted it. One meal was a chicken burger. Arrived without the sweet potatoes fries which the server went off to get and then never came back. Caught the attention of another server who then returned with fries. 2 bites and realised the sweet potatoes fries were still raw and chicken burger cold. Eventually got someone’s attention who offered to “warm up” the burger and fries. At this point we just asked for the bill. The chicken burger was removed but we don’t go to a restaurant to get a meal credited back. Basic service - get the food out timely and hot Basic cooking - if you cannot cook a chicken burger & fries you’re in the wrong job. Similar episode 2 years ago so avoided all TGI’s but decided to try again today. Now know we will never return to any TGI’s.

We had a reserved table but noone cared and we still had to que for our table. It took 30 min after we ordered to get our drinks - they even came after we've finished apetizer. The mains also took a bit of time to be done. We noticed several tables that came after us hot theor food sooner. Over all the service here is very poor, which you would mot expect at this location

Service was awful. Waiter was more interested in his phone than serving tables. Waited so long for food and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Waiter was also very rude and never really spoke, just slammed down items on the table and walked away. Do not recommend at all.

We had Alex as a server at Reading Tgis and he was amazing! Very friendly and attentive even though they were clearly very busy!:) excellent service.

I want to thank my amazing waitress who served us Paschee. You made me and my family’s TGIs experience remarkable. The food is always lovely with you guys and your warm service made our food even more delightful.

Family meal as dad and 4 children. Had the cable in the corner by the till. Could smell a smell coming from the bin. Sat for at least 15 minutes without offer of a drink. When the waiter came over, he was pleasant enough. No beer on tap as it was not working. Did drink and food orders at the same time as had been waiting long enough to choose food. Starter came - Nacho's and 5 sharing plates. Was. It was nice. 15 minutes later, the main courses came. They took no plates away and just kept putting more and more on the table. The food was nice enough. Nobody came over to see how anything was or to offer any more drinks at any point. Finally, I had to stand up to get attention to pay the bill and leave. I would have had deserts, but with the service so far, it would have taken another hour. Also, toilets could be cleaned more regularly. Not in a hurry to repeat the experience. They should do better with a flagship London venue.

Absolutely amazing drink! However, I was told it was 2 for 1. The waiter didn't tell me the price before paying. I was overcharged by £10. Bad service.

It’s nice to meet friends here! Easy to find! Common and acceptable American food (it’s not bad for chain stores! Remember to book in advance during weekend and there’s no promotions for students at weekends. Something awkward was about the payment time and our service staff asked if we would like to pay for gratitude! Normally in UK, proper restaurants will charge service fees, but we felt like this one is more like fast food restaurant? And my Flemish ppl said he wasn’t used to that culture…

The atmosphere is really good and the food is delicious. We were served by a red-haired guy named Bailey and his service was attentive, friendly and fast, just perfect. In short, very very good food and even better service. Highly recommended

The first and last time I step into a TGI Friday. Cold, congealed food. They say always judge a book by the cover. This is the gents.... Don't Go.... The staff, shrugged shoulders... and said sorry. Never came to check on food, did nothing to apologise... just charged full price. Door to food to leaving...15 minutes.

The ceiling was leaking, the shop (floor and tables) were dirty and the staff was not friendly at all. We were waiting for 15 minutes to be seated to our reservation. We didnt even tried the food and we left.

I would give 0 stars if possible! We were told the only space available was the order at bar tables. The tables were dirty. The order was delivered with missing items. 2 meals were cold, 1 was dripping in grease, the garlic bread was uncooked! Impossible to speak to anyone. Would never go there again. Save your money an go to burger king!

Food here has completely changed over the last 3 or 4 years. Sky high prices and minimal food. Cost £100 for 4 people with mediocre, cold meals. The service was great but was certainly let down by the food. Won’t be coming back.

Got served 10 minutes after being sat. My seating area was fairly busy but rest of restaurant was not busy at all which was frustrating. Particularly as I was on my own wait and service time was disappointing. Macaroni cheese was flavourless with spice if that makes sense. Corndogs were okay and had more taste than the macaroni cheese. Cheesy donuts were the tastiest aspect, and enjoyed those the most. Took over a half hour for food to come which isn’t bad but i do I wonder how long it would’ve taken if restaurant was busy

Service took a very long time, and the food is so expensive for what it’s worth now. You can’t advertise cocktails as a 2 for 1 deal when it’s £19!! That’s not a deal that’s an insult! However food did taste great and the atmosphere was great.

Service friendly but useless. Forgot orders, no drinks, no knifes with the mains, no plates with the starters, didn’t clear the starters, different staff every time. No excuse we wasn’t even that busy. Really disappointing.

Very poor service. Sectioned like cattle for booking and arriving 15 mins early while walk ins got tables. Understaffed and the staff we encountered were rude… probably best to avoid.

Excellent place for dinner when out for a show, or anytime near Leicester Square. Have been several times to Leicester Square location and always amazing service from waiters, better than other TGI’s we’ve been to. Definitely get anything with the legendary glaze, simply delicious!

Food was nice enough, but service was really slow

My nephews bday celebration dinner but no one even mentioned this even though we noted it down at the time of booking. The food was lovely hot and piping when we got it. Drinks felt watered down but ok. Staff never came to chk everything was ok after we got the items which was a let down Service was on our own via bar booking just as we wantes to sit half near the outside area

It used to be good a few years ago, so I decided to take my children back there but was very disappointed. The food wasn't great. The menu has literally no variety, and it's gone so expensive for serving cold food. It was boiling hot and at times no waiter to be seen. Needless to say it was a disappointing birthday party and won't be going there again.

First TGI Friday, would go again

Wow my time here was so amazing!

So shocked to see a poor service from TGIF. It took half n hour for a staff to take my order. In the meantime we saw a family leave due to the delay in service. Funny fact is the family who had left, was seated before us. Currently the time right now is 8.30pm and it really took nearly an hour for our food to arrive. Really disappointed. Having second thoughts of visiting this place again. Been to a variety of TGIF around the world, and their services was amazing, but Leceister Square branch failed all expectations.

The waiter barely spoke to us and never checked on us, I had to flag staff for refils, and the floor was littered with other people's food squashed on the floor around us. And when it came to paying, I had to walk over to the counter and ask to pay as I was tired of waiting to ask for the bill. Altogether, AVOID !!!!, the food is good but terrible service spoils the experience which is the point of eating out. If you want to wait an hour for a burger and terrible service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to Hard Rock just down the road, the staff there are so attentive and helpful and the food is better portions for same price. Plus, the decor there beats TGI.

We were waiting for more than half an hour no one came for us yo take the order and very poor customer service .

Ordered the Ultimate American Grill. Took an age to come, it wasnt hot and we were missing items listed. Asked for them but they never arrived even though they said they'd bring them out. The food was average. I wouldn't bother with this location, certainly won't be eating at this chain in future.

Perfect experience! Enjoyed a lovely catch up with a friend,l. Fun settings, casual dress code. Our host Paasshee (hope I spelt it right lol) was very helpful when it came to making our choice of what to eat, along with bringing positive vibes. Venue is nice and clean, food and dessert was tasty, I'd definitely recommend and will be visiting again as this branch seemed a lot better than others I have been to. Only downside is that TGI Friday is a bit over priced, we did have a few jump scares going through the menu pricing lol But they say you get what you pay for ey

Long waiting time for tables, food, drinks as well as paying. The menu felt limited compared to many other TGIF restaurants and when the food was served it was cold. The wait staff felt understaffed and that made the experience suffer. The toilets felt stale and the whole place would probably benefit from a renovation and a fresh start. The drinks in the bar felt good, but otherwise the visit left a lot to be desired.

I know the TGI from several large cities and unfortunately the one in Vienna closed a few years ago. The ambience and service have always been great at TGI, including here in London. I also think the idea of ​​the “Endless Refill” for 4.95 is brilliant. But - the food is average and the worst of all the TGIs I know of. Plus, you get almost nothing on your plate for the price. There were three of us and we left over £80 - 1 starter, 3 normal mains, 3x refill Coke

I am very mad. I am sitting her waiting for 1 hour and it is a joke. This should be ready and this is not okay. My daughter is starving and almost fainted because of hunger and I’m so angry. The service is bad and even if the food is good, our family’s mood has been ruined. Thanks so much for your terrible experience

Too expensive compared to other countries

Heard a couple and 2 families complaining when we walked in and should have known from then. Really slow service, staff are rushed off their feet Sticky tables, left before mains. Shame because the food is good

Cool restaurant right on Leicester Square in downtown London. Prices are rather high and the quality of the food is mediocre to good. You can tell that everything is geared towards tourism and the places are filled as quickly as possible. Service was ok. Ambiance is definitely great. Beautifully and modernly furnished.

Had the most amazing waitress, paashee! Honestly made the experience a 10/10. Have been before and it was just like any other restaurant but having paashee as our waitress really made a difference. Deserves all the credit and made it feel like we knew eachother long before today!

So bad , I will never eat a meal at this restaurant

I usually love TGI Fridays but I had a terrible experience here. Booked a table but were treated like kids in trouble at school by the hosts and bar staff...then when we were finally seated the service was far worse. Took forever to take our order and our food took ages to arrive. It arrived before our drinks did and we had no cutlery. We had to ask about three different servers for our drinks and cutlery and they weren't apologetic at all...food was good and drinks were fine but atmosphere and staff a joke. We had to physically go up and chase our waiter down to pay the bill because we'd already asked twice. We were late for our event because we had only expected to spend an hour and a half there but we were there for over two hours because the service was so bad. The whole place seemed a bit dirty too and totally chaotic - so disappointed!

The worst experience, the people assigned to work are very despicable, disrespectful and racist

After booking a table we were still left waiting for a table in a queue. We where sat down and completely forgotten about for around 15 minutes, when our order was eventually taken we waited 10/15 minutes for a coke and a Dr Pepper (cocktail prices are astronomical at £19). We received our starter 35 minutes after ordering at which point we were sat down 50 minutes already. The main course quickly followed after asking the waiting staff how long it would take. The the first beef patty was cooked to perfection, the second one was burnt to a crisp. Very disappointing level of service and quality of food in the end especially considering the prices. I would strongly suggest going to different TGI Friday branches and around this location as they can’t seem to cope with the volume of people (despite some wait staff standing around doing nothing)

For a price of 30 to 40 pounds it's not really worth it, as the service deteriorates a lot, the restaurant tries to sell something far below the actual quality it presents. As if the dish shown was one, but the dish it arrives at is something totally different, as if it came out of a horror movie, the taste wasn't really good compared to Brazil or the USA, as well as they also lack quantity, since the portions are extremely small, probably having fewer calories compared to what is shown on the menu.

I asked the bar manager to surprise me with an alcohol-free cocktail. She ended up throwing a virgin strawberry mojito together for me. She and the other bar staff definitely deserve a rise!!

Visited with some friends over from Canada. Service was really good and friendly. Food was lovely and arrived hot unlike my local branch.

Absolutely delicious But placing colored flags on every table is considered unjustified and extremely annoying I don't care if the restaurant supports this entity But this does not justify the huge number of colorful works, estimated at thousands This support for this entity has made me not go to this restaurant until this nonsense stops Although I have been going to Friday's for more than 23 years But they are the ones who lost thousands of customers It has become much less popular and they are the ones who have gotten themselves into this problem. ٓ PF

The vibe was really nice when we walked in but unfortunately everything on the menu has dairy in it, sorry due to some lactose intolerance we couldn't enjoy the food and we had to go find somewhere else to eat. But literally everything on the menu has dairy so it's no good for vegans or lactose intolerance.

We ordered ultimate pork ribs, it didnt look like the pic on menu or on ig, its bone is short and thin, looks like baby pork ribs. Plus, other restaurants baby ribs is a lot bigger then their ultimate ribs! I had been other TGI Fridays years ago, the taste and the dish size are totally different. Never come here again.

Not the best TGI Fridays. The one in the O2 arena is far superior. Siobhan our waitress was brilliant, I could not fault her. Food arrived quick and tasted good. Atmosphere is not great, we were quite happy to eat and go. The place is freezing, so make sure you wrap up.

3 wrong orders, but this was a rare occurrence… and staff did correct them, also it was very busy, as usual staff were friendly. Atmosphere is great.. highly recommend

Chanced it without a booking and got a table after a 30 minute wait. Friendly staff and very attentive. Plenty of choice on the menus and food is served promptly. Good sized portions for the prices. Tasty too. Well worth a visit but probably best to book in advance. Only downside is toilets were a bit shabby.

It was my first time eating here and I cannot say that I'm impressed at all. I usually don't leave reviews but my dining experience here was subpar, I do not want others going through the same. Firstly, the wait time is unbelievable. Me and my family waited incredibly long, an hour from ordering, for our food to arrive. When the food finally did arrive, it honestly was not worth the wait, the same quality of food could be found anywhere else at another American food restaurant. Not only that but waiting for service was unpleasantly long too. We all gave staff our benefit of doubt, thinking they might have to serve other tables or had other tasks to do, but everytime for about 20-30 minutes, when we requested service we were told "I'll get someone to take your order" or "Someone will be with you in a moment". Constantly passing the job onto someone else and nobody actually doing anything till long after. The cutlery we also asked for were also sticky? Not a big deal but not a nice feeling eating with cutlery that doesn't feel clean. Drink refills also took weirdly long for it just being drinks, one round of refills arriving when we were finished eating and ready to leave. And for a restaurant that has quite a lot of tables it seems to be understaffed. Everytime a waiter spoke to us, it seemed rushed so it wasn't a comfortable experience. Overall, it was alright. Service could do a lot better. Normal food, slow service but quick to come take payment from us. Maybe our experience was a one off but defintely will be rethinking TGI's as an option if I want American.
