The hotel is clean and has an excellent location, but it's very narrow, and the rooms lack windows. The price is higher than the value offered. There are definitely better options nearby.

The room is very small. The bathroom is also very small. The wall to the bathroom is almost transparent. So you have almost no privacy. At least the location is very good. You are directly at the train and bus station. The staff was friendly. A lot can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful . The room was small, and the bathroom was too close for comfort if you knew what I mean. Also, the mattress was very uncomfortable but slept okay as I was knackered from all the sightseeing.

Rooms are clean and functional. Perfect if solo or couple travelling. Although the foot of the bed is adjacent to the shower screen so if your tall like me, your feet will be touching unless you sleep diagonally across the bed. Other than that really nice, great location and staff are friendly.

PROS: - Location: • Awesome. Literally 100m. from Victoria Stn. • 15' walking to Big Ben/Westminster Abbey and 8' to Buckingham Palace. • 100m. from Market Halls Victoria (great to eat different dishes around the area). • From Stansted Airport you take the National Express (A7 to Victoria) and once you arrive at the Victoria Coach Station, you just need to walk 5' to the hotel. Safety area 24/7 with people always walking around. • 200m. from Wicked, the musical. - Staff: extremely nice and helpful. - Clean: no complaints about it. - Modern: not a typical old Victorian hotel. All amenities included. - Breakfast: not the best but decent. Toasts, coffee, juices, some pastries, fruits, yogurs, cereals and yummy naan breads. You can choose this option or you can have breakfast every day on a Starbucks or similar (not ideal for a 5 days trip). CONS: - Room size: comfy, modern but very small room (we got it double with window). I found it very annoying. It's ok that they are small but if you pay for a window-room, you should be able to open it. At least a bit (they are security windows prepared for hospitality). After you shower, you had to open the door for some time to at least be able to breath a bit and also to air the room. AC helps but it's not the solution at all. If I was the owner of the hotel, I would redesign it. Better to have less rooms and more expensive than the ones they have now but offering a poorer experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast and extras like a fruit bowl and complimentary wine and cheese. Our room had everything, but was just a bit small and cramped. Couldn't beat the price for being so central and close to Victoria Station and Buckingham palace and the Hop on hop off bus routes. Also lots of nearby restaurants and cafes.

At Victoria, its location is absolutely possible but many rooms are without windows. Space, facilities and usual entertainments are almost lacking. Interior is NOT as shown on its website clean and bright. The worst is audible low frequency noise and slight building physical vibrations, probably from underground running traffic/trains, can be heard and felt at day after 05:30 and before probably midnight. Absolutely a bad experience. Booked and fully paid 2 nights but we shall give up the 2nd night.

I visited the Z hotel in Victoria on sunday the 26th of May 2024 for one night. I arrived to London early with a heavy bag and had to pick up some some batteries from the other side of London. On the off chance I called the hotel to see if I could leave my bag while I made the trip, not only did they say yes but they asked their cleaner to have a room ready early for me at no extra cost. The room was small but clean with electric blackout blinds even when the sun was blaring down. All the toilet paper was folded on the end and the soap was lovely. All the staff were amazing and helpful. I hope to go back soon and would definitely recommend this hotel chain to everyone.

I’ll start off by saying I normally do not give bad ratings. This is a budget hotel in a wonderful location. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was indeed a shock. Our room was not clean and the AC created a musty smell and feel to the room. To top it all off, the rooms are SMALL. The mattress is very thin and whatever under it is very hard. We did not get good sleep in that small uncomfortable bed. We had to strategically move our luggage and ourselves around the small room (more like a coat closet) to get dressed / use the restroom. Unfortunately we came on an expensive weekend and paid way too much for a stay here. I would advise to not stay if it’s more 150 a night.

Very convenient location just around the corner from Victoria Station. The side street was surprisingly quiet. The reception area doubles up as bar and small restaurant/breakfast area. The halls were dim and dated. The rooms (we had a normal double) were TINY. You really couldn't swing a cat in there, nay, a hamster. First room we were shown had an awful view onto some grey building/side street (like you're at the back of an NCP carpark). Thankfully they were very happy for us to swap the room and that one was much brighter with a view onto the side street that the hotel is situated on. Because we had booked online we were given a complimentary glass of wine and cheeseboard! One of the automatic blinds didn't work but my husband repaired it. The control panel for air conditioning and temperature etc worked very well. Complimentary kettle, several drinks to choose from and filtered bottled water as much as you want. They were very happy to top up anything we needed. Breakfast would've been another 20odd quid, so we didn't. Room with window was about £120. Room was clean and smelled nice. Bathroom/toilet is a glass cubicle, so if you need privacy for your ablutions, this isn't for you! Bed was a bit cramped. Next time I'd probably go for a Queen sized room.

The hotel is ideally located for events at Cadogan Hall, which is a 15-minute walk away. The staff are helpful and friendly, the room was clean and nicely appointed, and the shower is very powerful. But the bed's mattress felt about 5cm thin, the pillows were simultaneously too soft and lumpy, and there was excessive noise from within the hotel and, periodically, what sounded like the Tube line below. This was probably the worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel in the UK. If I were travelling alone on a budget and staying for a single night I would consider staying here again, but for anything more than that I wouldn't.

Great hotel, perfect location in a quiet side street right next to Victoria station. Pleasant neighborhood. I had a Queen room, not big but practical and really nice. Clean and functional bathroom, comfortable bed, kettle available in the room. The team is super friendly and welcoming. I will return on my next visit to London. Please note for travelers: - The metro passes underneath which generates some vibrations (not disturbing for me). - The bathroom is a block of frosted glass placed in the room: it is pretty and functional but you can see the silhouette of the person inside, whether in the toilet or in the shower, so this must be taken into account depending on the degree of intimacy with the person with whom one shares the room.

I've been travelling to London for years and it was my first time in this hotel. Let me say it's an AMAZING place !!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff is very very kind, i didn't expect it but when i came back in my room at the end of the day they've done my bed and clean everything. We can also talk about the location, it's perfect to reach every parts of the city and it's only 10 min walking from Buckingham Palace. People could say the room is tiny but if you're a real traveler, you only come back to your room to take a shower and sleep so according to me it's perfect. They also provide you everything you need such as towel, shampoo, soap, coffee, milk, kettle, tea, hot chocolate and hairdryer. A little +, the plugs are also for people from Europe so you can use it even if you don't have an adaptor. I recommend this place and i will come back for sure !!!!!! 🤗

My partner and I went there in September 2010, food okay, but very bad service. After 20 mins of our main course we had to call a waitress to take our coffee order,no apologies or if we wanted a dessert. I sent 2 emails and a letter saying we were not satisfied with service, but go not reply. When I told colleagues about this, most mentioned it was known to have a slow service. Chez Gerard off my restaurant list, if they can not be bothered to reply to emails/letters, they do not deserve my money. What is so annoying there was plenty of waiting staff around. PS: I had lunch there in July, again my friends and experience a slow service.

I visited this restaurant with a friend, choosing it mainly for its location. As a starter we both had oysters, and couscous and fish respectively as the main course. Unfortunately we both got quite sick the following day, and as this was the only meal we shared, the conclusion can only be that the oysters were bad.

We went to this restaurant prior to going to the theatre but not as a part of a pre-theatre package. The good points are it's location in relation to the Theatre (Billy Elliot/Wicked) and the staff are attentive and helpful. The bad points are that the food is not very good quality and although the portions tend to be large it's no good if it doesn't taste very nice. My wife's starter and main course were cold and mine was piping hot!!!All in all not a good experience and i won't bother going there again.

Only came here coz I'd bought Wicked show & meal tickets from Lastminute.com. The theatre menu is limited and we all went for the Lemon & Herb chicken as our main and desserts. Portions were small, the chicken lacked flavour and dry, chips were over cooked. Service was the worst I've had for a long time (I'm a restaurant owner, so I know poor service when I see it). It seems that coz you're having the special show & meal offer, they take away the service quality. Would never go there again and definitely will never buy these offers from lastminute.com again. Suggest to buy best tickets and go to a restaurant of your own choosing.

Possibly my worst experience in a restaurant…ever. I went with my mum as part of a deluxe dinner and theatre package. We arrived at 6 o’clock (on time and actually before any of the other people using the same package) and waited to be greeted and shown to a table, however as the minutes went by we looked increasing like a pair of lemons just standing there trying to attract the attention of the waiters but not one member of staff batted an eye lid and ironically I almost tripped on a collapsed floor sign informing us of a wet floor. Finally a waiter told us to walk to the other side of the restaurant and wait for someone to show us to a table. So we did. For quite a while (note that at this point the restaurant was not even half full and most of the people who were in there were at the bar). When, to my delight, we were finally shown to our table, well when I say shown, we were more sort of pointed toward. So, finally seated and decided on what food and wine to have I started to wonder when and if anyone will bother to take our order, when at last a lady approached our table. But to surprise (and slight embarrassment) she asked whether we had been told to sit at that table or whether we had just wandered in! She then asked for our booking details and said that we should not be sitting at a four seat table as there were only two of us (although she did add that the waitress was new and she did not know what to do). So, we were moved to another table and proceeded to wait for someone to take our orders. At last, a waiter arrived. About 20 maybe 25 minutes passed and our soup finally shows up. But oh, we still appear to be minus wine and that water we ordered with our starters. And wait one moment, am I supposed to drink this soup from the bowl, is that what they do around here? I finally get my spoon (and a little later I get my wine but who knows where that water got to) only I wish I never got a spoon, because the soup was terrible. Now, the time was 6:55, bearing in mind that we ordered pretty much the same as everyone else (there were only six things on the menu) and we were the first to order, our mains had not even arrived and our show started at 7:30. So we complained. Not that that helped in any way. When our mains finally arrived I cut (or at least tried to) into the 'chicken' and attempted to chew it before I had to send it back, it may be hard to believe but I'm not actually the sort of person who complains in restaurants. Then the waiter came back with another piece of chicken which I must admit was not as bad as the first but was still indigestible. The time was now 7:35. And the last of the other people with the same theatre package were leaving (also complaining, the people at the table next to kicked up a fuss as their meals were both late and terrible). I should add at this point that at 7:00 we ordered cocktails which we asked two waiters for on two occasions and these never appeared, so we were both hungry, late and very thirsty. After complaining to about five or six different members of staff we just got up and left, with a couple of half hearted apologies and not one attempt to do anything about our complaints we dashed over to the theatre and got there 10 minutes late to be told that we would not be allowed to our seats until 8 o'clock! Half an hour after the show started. After apologies from us and from the theatre we soon found out that we were not the only ones who nearly had their expensive evenings ruined because of the restaurant’s incompetence. We were so disappointed with the restaurant, not only were the staff rude inattentive and pretentious, but they made no effort to try and help the customers. The food was awful, I mean really awful, I think I'd rather go to McDonalds or KFC than have to endure that dreary atmosphere again.

Dined there as part of the dinner/theater package deal for Billy Elliott. They had a reasonable set menu but I wanted a la carte. Was offered 10 pounds reduction in my bill to compensate for the difference, as a la carte was understandably more expensive. When it came time to leave, waiter dithered to the point that we had to literally run out of the restaurant and pay cash, not having time to complain about overcharge or miss the show. And he knew it.

Has the potential to be a comfortable swanky French restaurant & a favourite for us francophiles, but needs to try harder. A short menu, but still there was no bouef bourgignon - not acceptable given the prices they charge. For most of my meal the table vacated next to me remained dirty & uncleared up - again unacceptable for this price. Seemed to lack any visible management. Service was fine, waiters pleasant, but someone needs to get a grip.

The food here is absolutely disgusting! The rice was clearly old, probably 3-4 days past its prime, and had a terrible smell. Most of the dishes were completely inedible and seemed rotten. The only decent thing was the spring roll, and even that wasn’t great. Avoid this place at all costs – it’s a health hazard!

This place was not good. It was dirty. Messy and just not clean at all. The staff spent more time standing round talking than working. We waited 35 minutes for drinks!!!!, they were sat at the bar and the staff just hadn't been arsed to take them. The bubblegum dachary had melted when it got there. Our appetisers came out not long after our drinks. Which were underwhelming. Then the main dishes came out about 20 mins after that. The food was alright but I'm not sure what was 30 pounds about it? Most food is about 20 pounds which is overpriced to start. And some of the larger ones are even more expensive. Overall for 4 people our bill came to 200 pound. Which is quite alot for what we got and given it isn't even that nice. Definitely won't go back and I suggest you don't go either if you want decent food. London is so vibrant full of great restaurants and decent prices. So why waste your time and money at a dirty place with rude staff that don't want to work
