The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

This has been demolished which is a real shame. No doubt to make room for another franchise “nothing special” . A really devastating and unexpected blow that this place was closed we we had been going for years and years. Huge portions of American style grub and lovely decor. A real loss

We’ve waited a while to eat here, and boy was it worth it! There was 7 of us ranging from 4 to 47 and everyone enjoyed! The menu has a lot of choice, and I can not wait to return to try what I’d don’t have this time! To start we shared the nachos and some wings, and the youngsters food arrived the same time. The nachos are epic so much to share, and the wings were tasty!! We had buffalo and they were not too hot. The mains were great, nephew had a chilli cheese dog and it was huge! Sister in law had the rib eye which looked amazing, other half had the burger (best burger he’s ever had!) and the bro in law has ribs and wings which was massive but he polished it off. I had the smoke pit house platter and woah! So tasty but so much food I got half of it in a takeaway box! The chilli slaw is a must as a side Overall great service and great food, it’s very casual dining and similar to American BBQ style restaurants! There was no room for dessert but they looked good

Not bad for a Wetherspoon, I had probably the best Spoons Mixed Grill I've ever had, it's a pity they're taking it off the menu

Good service, staff attentive and pleasant without being intrusive. Food hood and service was consistent. Just the right level of time between courses.

Food was terrible, really gone down hill! And more expensive, so not worth it! But service was perfect. Our waitress Ruby was great!

Brought my nana here for lunch around 12pm place was very busy but every member of staff was warm and friendly. Warned when ordering food there might be a 40 minute wait but that was made clear and there was a sign. Woman who took my order really friendly and upbeat. Smile on her face. Even when I asked for coffee at a busy bar she kept a smile. When I went back for extra sugar another lady handed it me with a smile. Food came out hot and cooked well in 20 minutes. BOGOF made it great value. Again servers were very friendly polite. Asked if we needed anything else. Attentive even when it was a busy rush. Lovely place for food although busy tables were spotless and the staff were working hard. I hope the pub bosses read this and commend their staff for making it a lovely experiance and the staff should be rewarded for the excellent feed back.

Myself and best friend had been to the cinema . And by the time we came out so we decided on frankie and bennys . And boy we were so glad we did !! Our server turned out to be a manager . And I must say ... what an asset to your business! Made us feel so welcome . My friend is very pedantic with food but with the recommendations given she cleared the plate . Thank you so much for making us feel so special ❤️ we will be back Our visit was on Tuesday 8th October xx

Have been to TGI’s many times in the past but not for a number of years. Was shocked when I saw the price of the dishes on the menu, very expensive compared to other restaurants. Was even more shocked when the dishes arrived & saw the portion sizes. They certainly do not justify the prices! Service - apart from being shown to our seat & delivered food, there wasn’t any. Food - was in all honesty terrible. Luke warm & lacked any real flavour. To top it all off my son was sick later that evening so I now question if his chicken was actually cooked!! Perhaps someone from TGI’s should take a moment to read the reviews as they are not good. I will never be returning.

Este pub luminoso tiene un interior moderno con zona de estar en la planta baja y en el primer piso. Hay excelentes accesorios y características que se relacionan con la historia de esta magnífica zona del centro de la ciudad y cómo este pub Wetherspoon recibió su nombre. Este Wetherspoon's ofrece, como todos los pubs Wetherspoon's, una brillante gama de comida y bebidas a buen precio. Visitamos aquí temprano en la tarde en un día frío helado y este lugar estaba muy ocupado, pero nos las arreglamos para encontrar una mesa donde tuvimos una comida y algunas bebidas. En nuestro viaje a aquí tuvimos un par de pintas de Sharp's brewery Doom Bar que eran excelentes y donde bien de precio como teníamos dos C.A. M. R. Un token que tiró 50 peniques por pinta. Es un bar Wetherspoon brillante que está en una excelente zona del centro de la ciudad y es un excelente lugar para visitar para una comida o una cerveza o dos antes de visitar la calle Mathew. Roast dinner was unappealing, not hot and made up of frozen veg and processed meat. Very poor quality and a waste of money. The dining chairs were discoloured, well used and some were torn. It’s a shame as the staff were pleasant enough.

We visited Clark’s Shopping Village today and went into Frankie & Benny’s for lunch. We had 5 adults and a 1yr old. We ordered 4 main courses and three starters to have as a main course. We were asked if we would like the starters as a main and we said yes. The starters arrived but none of the other food did. We were told they were just waiting for the chicken and the other meals would be out. We looked at the pass and could see a main meal there that was the same as one of the ones we had ordered, but we assumed that was for another table. 15mins or so passed and the main meal was still there. They then put the rest of our meals up and bought all of the meals to the table. We queried the meal that had been sat on the pass for ages. They apologised and said they would take it back. Under 2mins later they arrived with what they told us was a new meal. We queried it again and we’re assured they had done us a fresh one. The meal was for my 74 year old mum, she assured us the meal was fine, but she does not like to make a fuss so we were not sure. Mum only ate half the meal, as she was worried it was still the same meal and we have a 2 hour drive home. My hubby tried her meal and he is convinced they just gave her back the same meal, as it came out far too quickly. They reduced our bill but the looks we were getting from the staff were not good. Why did they not just bring us the meal when it was ready as we already had one meal

Las peores tiras de pollo y papas fritas que he tenido en TGI’s cuando se me preguntó dónde están las tiras a la camarera, la respuesta fue “ lo siento, eso es lo que viene en la bolsa” 🙄 nuggets

Cumpre. Comida bem confeccionada. Dose generosas e com sabor. Serviço friendly e atento. Preço razoável l. Muito recomendável para uma refeição ligeira.

Had a lovely meal celebrating my brother's birthday. The waitress Cristina was brilliant and very accommodating and gave us plenty of time to order.
