Disgusting service, worst roast I've ever had turkey was like Bernard Matthews. Was very tough paired with frozen vegetables and cold Yorkshire pudding we complained but nothing they didn't care. Was down from the North to join family for a meal waste of money.

Had Lasagne best I've had in a long while and the scampi and chips was great especially the chips crispy on the outside and lovely and soft on the inside...staff were great...really would recommend the food .

Helpful staff, relaxed environment with a large group of us including 5 children. Tasty food with a good range of choice and easy to order on the app, although this meant some of our food came out at different times, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Some of the environment and chairs are looking tired but a great space for a large group of us to meet on a rainy Saturday.

Great family pub, Josh, Matt, Kieran, Fiona, Tash and Faith are brilliant! Kev and the rest of the team are also great! Would recommend

Came to the martlets for some food on Mother’s Day as it appears to be the only child friendly restaurant in Bognor . So already having that going for it we were excited to see what it had to offer as first time visitors . We were not disappointed !! Our server Emma was super polite , professional and you could tell she generally cared about costumers . Food was affordable and was good and we enjoyed it. But the thing we will be taking away with us and the thing that will be bringing us back will be Emma’s charm and charisma.

Fantastic meal had on Mothers Day-it was crazy busy but nothing too much trouble and a big shout out to the girl Danielle behind the bar who went above and beyond for customers 👍

We had a family linch here for mother’s day and Emma who served us was more than helpful with our order as I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. Very friendly and helpful! Will definitely return.

Not my first visit, but had to review this time. Use the Martlets for a good value meal and a few beers and as a group we always have a great time. This is the first time we have had a few issues but I have to compliment Emma on how she dealt with them. Nothing was a problem and the steaks in question when they came back had been re done and were to perfection. All done in good humour.

We had great friendly service from Fionna who made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back again for the food soon.

On entering the pub my 4 year old went over to a stool by the fruit / games machine. Immediately Fiona the female behind the bar shouted at her don’t get on that stool You have to be 18. You might fall. My 4 year old was reduced to tears. Now I get the safety element but my 4 year old has not covered gaming laws and age at nursery yet. No signage. I suggested she moved the stool and she replied I’m not allowed. Fiona the so called duty manager eventually apologised. So admitting liability. I noticed other customers being spoken to in a similar way by other staff members. One poor elderly gentleman was told 3 times to go back and get his table number by a male member of the team. Poor man. Customer relations contacted and this will be followed up. Dated restaurant. No customer service or atmosphere. Hungry horse head office.
