No idea why this place is not rated higher. I have lived in the USA for over 10 years and the burger I just had was as good as most I have ever tasted. Fries were perfect too. Gluten free Brioche bun was great. 10/10 from me. Live life a bit, treat yourself to a quality burger ….

The BEST burger we have had for a while. We were recommended the Black and Blue burger which was absolutely delicious! Good recommendation. If I could make one observation it would be that a sharper knife be supplied to cut the burger, as to pick it up to eat it would be messy, and trying to cut it with those knives squeezes the toppings out. That is purely because I don’t like picking up and scoffing a messy burger, it might be what others like, but I’m a knife and fork kind of person - sorry! Dessert was ok, we had sticky toffee pudding and I treated myself to a Cherry Bomb cocktail - yum!

Can’t fault the staff but….. the food! we ordered burgers and a kids pasta. The pasta looked like wallpaper paste and was inedible. Desert was a tiny scoop of ice cream in a ramekin. Burgers were served on a side plate and I can honestly say McDonalds make more effort. A tasteless bun with the burger. No lettuce.pickles , onions. Just a sad looking burger on a tiny plate and all for £9.50 - rip off, won’t be back sadly

We are from Chichester and craving for American burger. This shop didn’t failed us the Elvis burger and pulled pork was amazing! The combination of peanut butter and cranberry jam perfectly blend with beef patty and bacon. Yum!

A really great Sunday afternoon with family here. Food was excellent (I understand it’s a newish menu). Good service and the price was good. All-in-all well worth a visit.

as soon as you enter you get seated and order taken right away food takes about 5-10 minutes and the food is amazing overal a 10/10

Lovely food and exceptionally good service

We were warmly welcomed and sat at a table fairly quickly Oliver took our order and our Mocktails were brought to us. They were excellent. Very refreshing and we highly recommend them Our cheese and bacon burger were beautifully cooked , well presented and delicious. As were the chips and coleslaw Oliver suggestion of trying the Biscoff cheesecake was spot on. Fantastic, indulgent and one of those desserts you talk to friends and family about (and yes we have). The bathrooms were excellent, very clean, and plenty of hot water The whole meal was wonderful and I did ask if I could take the Chef home with me, he certainly knows his stuff To sum up - Fantastic Staff, Fantastic Food, Great Atmosphere and a lovely place to go to. Looking forward to returning soon

Great food, burgers are well cared for so they come out hot and flavourful. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Good range of drinks. Decor is a little odd but doesn’t dampen the environment

Burgers are just not good at all. It’s not what you see on their marketing materials, in real life they just look sad and taste even worse. Edit: just to reply to the response, no one checked back with me. Once the food was served everyone forgot about our table. I even had to go to the bar myself to pay the bill. 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately my burger was raw and bleeding blood onto my plate. I sent it back to be recooked which it was but by that time the rest if my party had finished. When I did recieve my burger back I found it quite chewy. The others had chicken and said how nice it was.

Lovely independent burger resteraunt. Food was very tasty - our teens loved them. They had good gluten free options too. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Will definitely come back

Burgers were sigma they tasted very yummy yummy in my tummy would have again 🥶🥶🥶8:30 right now ima keep yapping tables were respectively cleaned including the floor and overall hygiene was above par.Edwards the greatest server in the world , His hair is nice and curly .my burger tasted like a burger but the sloppy Joe was good 🤨🤨.My coke was like a coke.music was good the speaker was playing Yellow by Coldplay it was cold .Ha. Knee slapper that one .Jabbas waffle burger was 'outstandingly great'which is a rare compliment from my little kiddie winkle.Edward asked me to write a review and I will never deny him. Anyway if you read all of this I respect it heavily. On a serious note it's a very good restaurant and I highly recommend.PS I think the burgers cooked in taste and the desert was ice cold Palmer.

£10 Express lunch spot on. We popped in for lunch while visiting Arudel. We hadn't eaten at TBS before and were pleasantly surprised at how tasty our lunch was. We were served quickly by a friendly waitress. All in all, we were impressed and will definitately visit again when we shop in Arundel. Just a quick comment to the reviewer who complained about their under-cooked burger but didn't complain directly to the restaurant - if your burger is not cooked enough, send it back - simples!

It was our first time here & the service & food was amazing. Will defo come back another time. Would have liked to have been asked how we liked the burgers done.

It had been a long time since I had a decent sized chicken burger and I had been craving one. I had high hopes the Burger Shop would fulfil that crave! I had the Flamin Rooster burger, which came with a rather flat chicken breast, so even before eating I felt disappointed. This was reinforced when I started eating, as the burger lacked any thickness or texture, with the breading also on the light side. My partner on the other hand enjoyed her Class Cheese burger, so overall a mixed experience.

This place is amazing all of the workers are very friendly and kind I have been here multiple time and Chloe is one of the waitresses and she is lovely! The food is delicious as well and is quick to come! The customer service is perfect! Definitely recommend!!

Lovely place, fab and genuinely fast service. Chloe is always ace and its service with a smile. A nice rarity these days. Nice views of Arundel too from the front windows. Have been coming for a good few years now and it never fails to impress.

We were looking for a quick lunch and were tired having driven a long way that morning. "You can't go wrong with a burger" I said. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. Classic 6oz should have been a simple enough burger, it came almost raw in the middle. Brioche bun running red with blood dropping into plate. Why didn't we say anything you may ask - well to be honest we just didn't have the energy ..... And also wanted to just let a wider audience know.

Amazing!!!! I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment on a Friday evening at 6:30pm with no booking and was promptly seated at a table.The waitress provided fantastic service throughout our meal, and the food was absolutely delightful. What impressed me even more was how efficiently everything was handled, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal and be on our way within an hour. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service, delectable cuisine, and overall efficiency.

customer service was terrible, staff was rude and the food was average at best. The staff couldn't listen to basic instructions and made fun of me for taking out the lettuce and pickles. They got my order wrong and there was even hair in my fries with watery ketchup. 1 Star.

The service is terrible here. We sat waiting 20 minutes trying to get a server to come over so we could order more drinks. They had 1 worker in the kitchen cooking for a whole full restaurant! And a guy sitting behind the bar just twiddling his thumbs doing nothing. The food is extortionately priced compared to other restaurants in the area. £12.50 for a burger with no chips? As for the food itself it’s very very basic standard burgers, nothing special at all. The chicken burgers and chicken tenders are also not breaded which seems a very weird choice and not clear on the menu. The chicken wings and tenders weren’t even coated in sauce properly. Would never return to this place and absolutely don’t recommend it at all.

Well...... I just had the best burger by a country mile, succulent is the best way I can describe this particular work if art, pink in the middle with the perfect juices running through it... I smashed it in about 5/6 bites. Absolutely unbelievable, the hype is real ..

The food is fantastic with some really interesting flavours on the menu. Good options for vegan and gluten free diets, we spoke to a member of staff who was knowledgeable about coeliac disease and was happy to answer any questions about the food and recommend some local activities. Will definitely eat again next time I'm in the area.

called in Thursday night, was quite to start with but soon started to fill up, Oliver severed us, so helpful with recommendations and samples of beer, orders given drinks delivered and soon after burgers and fries, oh dear so nice and juicy so much better than the popular drive through place, husband had struggled to decide which burger so had a second the Elvis burger comes with peanut butter and blueberry jam( I know ) but he said it was good, If we lived nearer we would dine again, when in the area we will be back

Good burgers, the missis had a classic bacon cheeseburger cooked really well and tasty. I got flaming rooster burger decent heat without being overwhelming. Chill cheese fries and onion strings were great, mac n cheese was okay but not great cheese taste a bit artificial. That was the only thing stopping me giving it five stars. Fancy a burger and fries this is pretty good.

Underwhelming is the best way to describe the burger. Burgers didn't really have any char or grill so really missed the maillard reaction to give them good flavour. Chips were good though and the staff friendly enough

Went with Friends who recommended, waitress was great manager was the problem. after my friends order two Orio milkshakes which turned out to be no more then milk with crushed biscuits inside they took them back where they were presented with the biscuit jar and told to add them themselves after making no difference to the flavour they asked if they could be redone to where they were told to "Order something else" shocked we asked for the manager to ware we were told the comment was from the manager. wont be going back as clearly doesn't care for his local clients.

We recently visited TBS and were quite disappointed with our experience. The burgers were notably small, which was unexpected. Perhaps we missed some information, but no one mentioned that the meat would not be well done, nor were we asked how we preferred it cooked when placing our order. Additionally, the burgers were served without fries, which had to be purchased separately. The portion size of the fries was also small compared to the price. On the plus side, the kids’ menu seemed like a better deal than the adult options. For a family of four, we spent over £50, which we felt was not worth it given the portion sizes and overall experience.

Never eaten here before. We aren't from this area and were just visiting. Food was pretty good, service was OK....nice young guy, lacked some training and manners but he was a nice guy, just maybe shy? One dessert arrived late, which meant the first one delivered to the table had been eaten already which was annoying but not that much of a problem. Very quiet so can't comment fairly on the atmosphere. Prices OK.... Average I guess.

Had a very nice family friendly meal at the Burger Shop in Arundel. The kids menu is excellent value for money. The ABC burger tasted great. Good alcoholic and non alcoholic drink options. Customer service good and service slick. The new outside area is a great addition. We will definitely be back!

Last minute decision to go out for food and we could not fault this venue. Quick service, food was out in good time and the wait was top knothc.

Meeting my partners friends on a Friday night they chose to visit this burger restaurant. Was seated on the new rear terrace. The service was good, not matched by the Beer or burgers. Two poor pints of pale ale were served but changed when brought to their attention. What puzzles me is how the simple burger can go this wrong. It’s actually a small burger, salad was underwhelming, the bun is basic too. But the beef burger was tasteless, almost a bit sour/ old. Cooked on a flat top grill didn’t get any grill flavour at all. This restaurant has a five star food rating, so I was extremely surprised to find all the burgers so undercooked. They were extremely pink and this led to them tasting not very good. Food safety advice from any local authority would be to cook minced products to a minimum core temperature - unless strict safety controls are in place. I’m not sure this restaurant has that level of control approved by local environmental health officers.
