TGI Friday's - Reading in Reading

Having not been for a few years I was terribly disappointed. No pineapple juice for a pina colada, no cranberry juice and then to top it off no MILK!! So no milkshakes or coffee. There’s an Aldi right next door! The food was good but terribly overpriced since my last visit. Won’t be returning, there’s far more value for money elsewhere.

Ruby was fantastic during our visit to TGIs. She greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service throughout the meal. She was attentive without being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask. Our food came out quickly, and Ruby made sure to check in to see if we were enjoying our meal. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really made our experience enjoyable. We left the restaurant feeling well taken care of and will definitely return.

Ruby was our waitress at TGI Fridays, and she made our dining experience truly enjoyable. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and quick to offer helpful menu suggestions. Despite the restaurant being busy, Ruby never missed a beat—our drinks were always refilled promptly, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. Her friendly personality and professionalism really stood out, and she made us feel like valued guests. We couldn't have asked for better service and will definitely be back, hoping to be served by Ruby again!

Elizabeth was fantastic as soon as we turned up! Great hospitality followed by great service. Food was amazing as always from TGI's but, the added extra service from Elizabeth was something extra, due to it being festival season 👌 thank you for my balloon hat. Much appreciated 👏🏽

We usually prefer this place on our birthdays. That's why it's a special place for us. This is a restaurant where we spend time as a family.

Willow was absolutely amazing , she tended to all our needs and made sure we had a great time, we also mentioned ONCE that it was a birthday, and she arranged the cake and song. Thank you so much Willow it would not be the same without you here!

Food was really nice cooked well and simply delicious, I would 100% recommend and come again. Our waiter was cooled Andrew and he was really good I would ask for him again

Decided to go to this TGI's for my 21st birthday along with my family. Myself and everybody else loved the food, and the service provided was exceptional. Ric (General manager) was brilliant. I didn't want a big fuss over me for my birthday, so he made the birthday cake dessert and brought it to our table himself and wished me a happy birthday. Overall the experience was one to remember. 100% would recommend to anybody who loves Big burgers and delicious puddings

Ruby was excellent, great service and friendly with our children. Brought them over some colouring activities and balloon animals. The food was good and came out pretty quickly.

The meal was dire, it was just fried overpriced crap. £90 for two people, no booze just a milkshake, starter and a main each. When the food arrived, it was a beige cacophony of blandness. Hadn’t been for years, we won’t be back ever. We complained about the meal. The response was “oh sorry about that”….non offer of discount etc. awful.

Food exceptional however prices are now extortionate. The customer service is great and still has the American diner feel which makes it the place I enjoy to visit however due to the prices I think it’ll become a more rare experience.

Had a great time at TGI Fridays for a big family event, there was a lot of us and the team at Fridays were outstanding! Our waiter Andrew was phenomenal and such a great guy, so happy and fun, had so much time for the kids talking about the badges he had so far! We all wish him the best of luck with university! We were a massive last minuite table of 28 as the riverside tgis had no heating. Max was more less by himself serving us .he was brilliant , he was calm and he was on top of everything . Made the experience a lot less stressful ! Thankyou Max

Chilled atmosphere, lovely staff. Helpful and welcoming manager Megan who looked after us (due to allergies) along with Justin our server who was friendly and smiley. Enjoyed our 2 course meal. Loved being able to park right outside, better option for us rather than having to walk a distance. Thankfully a much better experience than when we visited another branch (different area), would visit again. Staff make a place, felt that at this branch.

Popped into TGIs for some food and a casual drink with a friend over some lunch during the christmas period. The food was amazing as always and we took advantage of the 241 cocktail offer. The service provided by Sam R was exceptional & I look forward to going back in the new year.
