McDonald's in Reading

Wait for ages then be totally ignored by the staff when you try to inquire as to whether any of the 100 imported staff are serving to finally get iffy orders at the end of it!

Great food always, fresh, good staff, plenty parking outside, nice drive through, fast serving.

Drive thru always messes up the order. Make sure to check before you drive home. Very slow service since uber eats etc!

Nice place to calm down after long day at work

Last Thursday, we’re in a road trip, starving and decided to try this Mcdonald’s drive thru, ordered 2big meals plus a burger. Paid for all to find out a bit later that a burger was MISSING. Proper SCAM. There was no ketchup, no napkins, and french fries have no salt at all. Service wasn’t that APPALLING before.

I havent been a McDonald's for ages ! , went through the drive- in for breakfast at the branch opp B&Q , and walk past the one in Oxford rd , nr Lidl , both in Reading , Berks.

Mcdonalds is fine and not overly busy except when Reading are playing

My experience of this McDonald's has always been good, not much to say than you get what you expect and the service has always been great.

Food: most of the times my order gets delayed or messed up. Service: some staff members mey ignore you if you have any questions. Atmosphere: not bad but a bit dirty.

There were Flies and insects in store near ketchup area. Completely unhygienic. Council must take actions immediately.

Just stopped for chicken. Disabled bays used for "drive thru" or delivery drivers. So sad

Came here for a midnight snack, not far from my hotel. The food was nice and hot, very quick service. Was surprised how busy it was at the witching hour. Must be a food haven for late night drivers

Don't expect them to get your order right none of them can speak a word of English yet are taking orders from the drive thru not being funny but they can't speak nor understand anything you are saying to them so why are they working there? Nobody else wants to work the low wage job? Sort it out!!!

I ordered a McDonald's delivery and they missed half my order!

The Big Tasty that i ordered came like an Ikea product ...just had to put it together as it was just thrown in the box......that was not appealing at all...other than that...all good

Typical busy McDonalds. My main gripe is that almost every time we order more than one or two items on the app, something is missing at pick up. Last time I was in a rush and didn't' realise until I got home. Tried calling them but no-one ever answers and reporting via the app is a waste of time. My advice, check the order before you leave!

Bad from start to finish. No organisation whatsoever when my order was wrong 3 times at the ordering part and got to the collection it we still wrong and Chinesse female manager didn't put it right no one had a clue. To top it when we arrived back home we specifically asked if the wrap of the day had pork in it they said no it was sweet chilli chicken the wrap of the day when my partner ate into it realised it had bacon in it and he is allergic to pork total chaos none of the staff had a clue very badly run and to top it pork in something we specifically told them we had allegery to pork which is mainly why I have reviewed and stared so low massive error and totally unacceptable. Staff need better training my partner didn't eat his due to pork being in it total waste of money wouldn't come back here again. Reading other reviews we are not the only ones.

Just what you expect from a MC Donalds

Not rated the atmosphere as we used the drive-thru. Service and food was decent enough, no complaints.

Food from the drive thru tasted freshly cooked & was really hot, Which isn't something I'm used to from my local drive thru.

I don't really go to McDonalds that often, but when I do, it's total chaos. The self service machines are ALWAYS out of receipts and the amount of people who forget their number and what they ordered is unbelievable and then they have to discuss it all with the staff and the queues just increase. I also had to request a receipt for my records. How the manager just does not make sure there are receipt rolls in the self service machines at all times is a pure mystery !! Get a grip !!

The food was so bad made me and kids sick been puking since yesterday!!!! Horrible and never ever again

It’s 3:00 o’clock in the morning Only 3 customers inside I’m one of them and they made my burger wrong, they put bacon in it and I never had bacon in my life, I asked for my money back and they gave me back only the item not for my whole order and I left everything there as I couldn’t eat after I had that bite of the bacon , worst experience food in my life

Went to the drive through. The location of the drive through and entrance is a nightmare. Comes off the only entrance in, so if you're not wanting to go mcds you could be stuck in a lot of traffic to go to another store, on the the retail park. Whoever thought of it needs to rethink, it just doesn't make any sense. The service was good, polite and apologised for delay although not their fault. Food was hot and correct order which I was thankful for because it was busy and could have easily gotten mixed up.

Food was cold and looked unappealing.

My wife and I stopped here for a quick breakfast. Ordered on the screen with table service, which took a while to arrive, even though it wasn't that busy inside. Food and drinks were good, it cancelled out the hunger urge. The table and seates were clean.

Theyy prepared food in well advance time and when actual order will arrive they just pack it for you Most of time I’ve received cold food and that’s really worst thing to reheat burger in the microwave

We ordered a big amount off food via the app and it came extremely quick. I had the bacon, sausage and egg mcmuffin. Enjoyed the breakfast.

The food was really nice and crispy, the fries still hot and no salt which is much better.

Waiting too long through drive way

I go to Mcdonald for food and I get the food. I never get any extra service from the stuff. They never even look at the customer. Food quality is machine type. It's not the stuff to blame. It's the company that made them work like robot.

Ten years since my last visit and the McD's fast food "experience" seems largely as miserable as it has ever been, although marginally worsened by the addition of a "McPlant" option for those that way inclined, always nice to see inclusiveness in action. In a completely unscripted appearance a rat wandered nonchantly past the window while we were eating, it didn't look any more happy to be there than I was. Otherwise, the only entertainmant on offer was watching several employees pushing a broken down Fiat 500 out of the drive in, they didn't look happy either.

Ordered two items and one is done wrong.

Ordered via the app, turned up. Clicked I arrived. Took my money. Drive through closed off. Said to collect inside. But it’s closed… no one around. Even tho lights are on, and says open 24/7. No one picks up the phone either. Not sure what’s going on..

What's the point employing foreigners that don't speak a single word of English and mess your order up each and every time. I don't order from here anymore as they have messed up 2 simple orders and the last time I had enough! Useless getting people to work minimum wage that can't even understand what the customers saying to them.. can't even take a fkin order down properly

4th time I’ve had a cancelled delivery. Waited an hour before it was then cancelled. Not once did I get a refund on the previous 3 orders so not expecting one this time! If you don’t have available delivery drivers don’t accept the orders. Rip off merchants. Appalling service. No answer on the telephone as usual.

McDonald’s is honestly the best franchise on the planet earth. If you live in a great neighborhood, anywhere in scandinavia, Schipol airport and/or driving into a canadian border, I suggest you eat McDonald’s everyday until you have a doctors order to quit or a heart attack twice. America or any poor neighborhoods should avoid McDonald’s at all cost. With Bill Gates and his population control tactics and him owning 80% of the farms in America that produces the fries, I say go to Burger King. London bridge McDonald’s is elite. I love the human counter pick up and the screen order. Nobody can ever really mess up your order besides you. Teaches accountability.

I honestly cannot believe how many times they miss items and at best you will get a refund on the food but not the delivery. So I refuse to re order missing items to pay a fortune in deliveries. Lesson truly learnt.

Bought a few meals today. One being a fillet-o-fish meal, which I asked for a fresh one. Unfortunately when I got home, I was greeted with a brown rubbery fillet. It tasted like it was left over from yesterday. Very disappointing as I hoped this would not happen. If it were fresh it would have been golden and tasty. Not rubbery and looking sad for itself. Needless to say, I will be returning it and hoping for a fresh offering or my money back. Disappointing and shoddy.

I went lunch time around 12 o’clock today . I ordered selfservice and table service .the selfservice didn’t gave any receipt . I waited half an hours.meals not arrived I spoke one of Chinese manager he was very rude he said he don’t have any table ordered I saw my payments transition he said he don’t have transition also . He was very rude and not polite. I am so disbanded.

Rubbish food here. Customised the order and beligerantly ingnored by the staff. A minimal attention to detail. A good place to mingle if you want a dose of Covid as well.

Alright, went before and after truck festival and it was a nice meal

Everything was good until one of the employees made me very uncomfortable by trying to force her religion down my throat. I respect, understand and even appreciate the values of a religion, however trying to convince and force someone to believe in the same thing or even to try to convince them to show up in the church is a bit too much.

The staff here were unwilling to accept Royal bank of Scotland £20 notes and asked if I could pay with other money which I could not having arrived in England the only previous day. I took my money next door to the KFC who were delighted to take it and couldn't believe McDonald's wouldn't.

Went through the drive thru after a night shift. Got back to my hotel and realised that they'd given me someone else's order. I asked for a Big Tasty with Bacon with extra sauce and received a Big Tasty (no bacon) with no sauce, lettuce or tomatoes. The sticker on the box said Uber, so clearly they got them mixed up. Complained to McDonald's and received a voucher for a free meal. As a previous manager at McDonald's I can't understand how mistakes like this can happen. It's not difficult to check a sticker! The boxes are different on the bacon/no bacon versions so surely it would be obvious which was which.

Stopped off here for some food. Standard McDonald’s. Plenty of seating in this branch with quick service. Branch was clean and tidy despite being quite busy as it’s situated in a busy retail park.

Very long wait to get good considering I had already used the app. Did drive through where there was very small queue.

I don't know how this could happen at a McDonalds. I ordered a coke and it was flat, it happens sometimes nw. But took it back and asked for a new one and that too was flat. The service was so I wasn't going to bother going back a third time.

Was going to order eat in, no number plate available - reorder take away - waited 20 mins - until they wiped my number - asked a staff - food provided, but missing source - and found they have milk for kids in the fridge, however it displayed unavailable on order screen - THIS IS NOT A FIRST TIME ISSUE!!! 13/04/2023: a year later, just ordered a cheese burger saver menu, waited 20 mins! Is this really fast food service? late for my meeting!😡

Food was ok but a little cold as staff were more interested in chatting to there colleagues and messing about then actually serving the food on time and the men's bathroom floor was wet after mopping with no wet floor signs about and it also smelled like they cleaned the floors with urine and not bleach

Standard Mcdonalds had all the food that we wanted and the queue was not long. The reciept was not provided on the order machine but the staff sorted it our quickly which was good.

I ordered my at 12:30 and I have not received it
