Oh Dear! Impromptu visit as TGI’s is one of our favourite treats. Treat because it is overly expensive for what you get! Drinks especially. Seated quickly and waitress took our order in good time. I ordered the baby back ribs. Food arrived without the corn riblets. I asked a member of staff if he could check for me, he said he would and didn’t return. We managed to get the attention of our waitress who informed us they had run out. I asked if they were offering an alternative? She offered us onion rings or fries. We already had a portion of Onion rings and didn’t want extra fries. She said she would check with the kitchen but seemed put out. Much later she came back and offered a side salad or extra fries. At this point I had started my meal. The ribs were warm but not hot. I didn’t dare complain again. I had to ask for mayonnaise and a bottle was plonked on the table. No one checked if everything was ok with our meals. Waitress came back and checked if we wanted dessert. We didn’t wish to stay any longer so left and called for a dessert at another restaurant. TGI’s seemed understaffed and as a Just Eat driver casually wandered through the restaurant I wondered if the importance of diners took a back seat. Glad to see other good reviews but we won’t be returning. Instead we will go back to the TGI’s who we know offer good service and hot food.

Aaliyah made this a fantastic experience. Attentive friendly and quick! Food and drinks all served up quick and was very tasty. Great location. Only downside is price but even then I couldn't fault the whole dining experience, felt we still got the great experience we paid for.

Because the server was rude, the food was 40 minutes late and the room was 1000 degrees. I thought this place was American, have they never heard of air conditioning?!?!?!?!

Our server Chloe was amazing. She looked after everything we needed with two small children. Brought their food earlier than ours as was hungry and even brought out a balloon animal dog for them when they had finished. Great service and great food.

Absolutely appalling visit for a child’s birthday meal! The manager is rude and aggressive, swore at a member of our party. No cutlery served with meals, steak ordered rare and came medium well, missing items from meals which we was not informed of prior to ordering but according to the manager “the menu is subject to availability, we don’t have to tell you” apparently this is the standard across TGI Friday. No salad, no ice and no veg available. Dirty glass wear brought to table after we requested glasses (2 of the 3 glasses had lip stick stains). Charged for items that we had not ordered or received and when requested they were removered from the bill meet by the same rude manage who continued to be rude and aggressive luckily my children where no longer in the building as I fully expected this from her after our first interaction and did not want them to be subject to this behaviour again. Complained via website, the manager who we complained about responded and no option to escalate further or resolve the issues. Informed by staff that the manager leaves next week but still no excuses for her behaviour.

Absolutely horrendous. I ordered my food, shrimp, as I’m a pescatarian, which I let the waiter know. I also ordered a Fanta and was brought a glass of ice with a quarter of water in and a bottle of Fanta. I asked for a glass with no water or ice, was then brought a glass. My food came and it was chicken, luckily I tore a piece off as it didn’t look like shrimp. Clearly unimpressed as I had already said I don’t eat meat. I told them what I wanted to be served with prawns. I became quite frustrated and said that’s not what I ordered. My daughter asked for chicken strips and was brought out something else too, albeit it was chicken but not strips. I then decided to talk to the manager and then also decided that I’m going to leave. He said but they have put your shrimp on. I asked for the bill. FairPlay he didn’t charge for the nachos, only the drinks. I also ordered and my daughter was able to take the chicken home, which is still in the fridge as nobody will eat it. Also usually we are asked if anyone had any allergies. This didn’t happen this time. Total disaster. Won’t be going back!

Great service from Maddi she was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed , was a really refreshing experience and great food to go with it , thank you !!

Really poor experience in this restaurant. Severely overpriced with very small portions. Glass of coke was nearly £4 and lager, was between £6.25 and £7. Received the smallest ribs I have ever seen at the cost of nearly £20, with very few fries, missed off the corn on the cob and had to be asked for, to be told they had run out. Much nicer, more affordable places to eat in the area, without being ripped off by this sub standard restaurant chain.

5 of us went for bottomless brunch, our server Joel B was brilliant, we got served fast with the food and regular with drinks, we had at least 8 cocktails each. Gutted they ran out of Baileys tho so didn't get to try the Baileys choc Martini. We will just have to come again 😆. Definitely recommended thank you

Food was great but Karl was wonderful tonight. My son is on the spectrum and he was amazing with our tables changes and adjustments. Gave us some key information ( free btw). Went for a late birthday celebration and was treated lovely. Sharon and her colleagues brought cake and sang. The food was good and good value for money. We were encouraged to use offers. And Sharon informed us of any foods straight away if they wasn’t on offer. Will definitely be visiting again

After booking,I noticed the very bad reviews and tried to book somewhere else but ,thankfully,failed.Warm welcome.Relaxed but friendly service from Lisa.Good ipa.We had 3 adults and 3 teenagers. Garlic chicken,prawn linguine,ribs were all pretty good.Only gripe was we were told there were no eggs for the Cobb salad . I didn’t mention that they were 200 yards from the biggest supermarket in the area !!Far better than recent reviews suggest

Biggest disappointment in 20 years ! I : we used to love coming here, at one time circa 20 years ago was the place to be and food was good, but now oh my god was tasteless meat with huge portions of chips. Everything fried and all from frozen. Not clean ! Lack lustre staff and even the happy Birthday singing was like the 5 shy kid’s from chill mumbling happy birthday! Absolutely nothing like what it used to be.

I arrived at TGI s at 7.01pm for my 7.00 click and collect. My trip home only takes 7 mins. By the time I got home the food was stone cold. I tried to call to sort it out and was cut off 2 times. So now I have to eat cold food and type out a very unsatisfactory review. This is not what I expected from an established brand like TGI Friday's. I wont be using this click and collect again. Unless you have a time machine I dont bother, as you will be eating cold food.

We were 10 minutes early to the allotted collect time. Waiting in a queue for 45mins. Receive the food which was cold and dry apart from the leaking packaging. Would not recommend for the money!

Well. I gave a poor review last time. Why go back? Well a friends daughters birthday. Here we go....Awful. Starters came out which was basically deep fried chicken ball covered in hot sauce. While eating our starters, they tried to bring out our main meals twice. Yes twice. So that meant our mains were cooked, then left under the heating lamps for the entirety of our starters. When we got them they were just awful. Really poor service. Money wasted. McDonald’s would have been a better option.Never again.

What has happened to TGI? I remember coming here was a real treat, fresh and a little over the top I’ve just had my worst visit .... I had the Louisiana Hot Mess .... unless by “Louisiana” they mean Farmfoods on Salford precinct then they have definitely dropped the ball... a big empty plate with an anaemic chicken burger and 15 chips I ordered “warrior fries” which translates as chips with raw onion and chilli sauce Sesame strips were ok and the service was fine but at the price I wish I had gone to McDonalds

Used to come here years ago and used to really enjoy it,me and my girlfriend shared the hot wings and instead of the blue cheese dip they gave us Franks hot sauce instead and when I asked them why they said it was because they didn’t have any.You should be informed about this and not just given a dip of the same sauce as the what is already on the food.My girlfriend had the Louisiana hot mess and it was.l had the 21 oz Rib-eye which was good Definitely unhappy with the service and don’t think we would come back again

Our daughter chose this restaurant to celebrate her 14th birthday in with some friends. The staff were great: safety was paramount, and they went out of their way to look after our daughter and her guests, making them feel super special. The food was lovely too. Our daughter smiled all night; thank you for making it such a lovely evening for her.

Me and my son visited 17/09/20 we were booked in for 6:45 and shown to our table we have been to this tgi,s many times over the years and have always been delighted. We usually have the same meal chicken strips as a starter followed a rack of jd ribsThey used to do meal deals which meant you could get the starter's and mains for under £20 but they have stopped that deal. No worries we CHECKED the menu our starters were £7.95 and mains £18.99. so ordered the starter's came and were great no problem but the ribs were awful they usually fall off the bone and are mostly meatThese ones were mostly fat they were horrible myself and my son have never ever left food on our plates but last night I left my ribs and he left his we should have said something at the time but we didn't but made us both think about going there next time

Had a nice lunch today at TGI's , picked up some cheeky free appetizers with every main meal purchased. Result. Covid measures in place, felt safe and well catered for. Reasonable pricing for good tasting food. Will return for sure. Thanks

We visited TGI Fridays in Prestwich just yesterday and upon entering the restaurant we instantly noticed that they were taking very serious measures to enforce social distancing (almost all staff had masks/visors and there was a 1 table gap between each available table to ensure social distancing was maintained). As well as this, and the main reason why I personally felt compelled to write this review, is that the staff inside of the restaurant, upon hearing that I had a peanut allergy (which was only told to them as I was ordering my meal) were absolutely amazing at catering for me and my allergy on such short notice! The restaurant manager personally took my order to ensure that the food I was ordering was allergen free, the food came with a colour coded flag to ensure that my allergy was clear to all waiters/waitresses and overall I felt very very safe and comfortable with the way my meal was served/prepared etc. We Can’t thank the staff enough for the wonderful experience and We will 110% be visiting this establishment again very very soon!! And so finally, Thank you personally to the team at TGI Fridays Prestwich for the lovely meal and for the way my allergy was catered for during our visit, see you again soon!

Been to this restaurant so so many times and every time I’m blown away, the food is always so amazing. The staff are so so friendly and your never waiting long at all. The strawberry daiquiri is gorgeous and the Jack Daniels sesame chicken is delicious. There’s so much to choose from and the deserts are so good, (if there’s enough room left) definitely worth the visit

Came to TGIs Prestwich for Lunch and the food was amazing, I had the Veggie Burger, and it was really nice, brilliant atmosphere with great music and the staff were great!

Gonna keep this short but avoid this place like the plague, staff has no manners at all and they want you to follow there rules while the there staff dont, really hope this place goes under because I for one will never return

Been to TGI’s a number of times although I’ve only been the Prestwich branch twice. Not sure if I would go back after today...•It states on the child’s menu that every meal come with tasty sticks of apple, cucumber & carrot which it did not.•It slates there is slaw and red onion on the steak sandwich which it didn’t come with.•The staff was pleasant however they walked past us several times when we had finished and didn’t offer us dessert or anything although they was doing it to other tables around us.•I did put on the email when booking that it was my son’s 8th birthday as they asked was it a special occasion. When I’ve been before they usually give the birthday girl/boy a ballon which they didn’t do. This was one of the reasons I booked at TGI’s as I know my son would have liked that. No mention of his birthday at all. •On the menu it states the desserts are ‘made for sharing’ but it says you can ask for a single dessert. When I asked, she was confused about what I was on about and then said there is no brownies anyway. All in all a bit disappointing as TGI’s is usually my go to when it’s anyone’s birthday or an event. Not sure I would be back again

I recently ordered a click and collect (Had to do this a day in advance) from one of my favourite chains expecting to get the level of food I'm used to when I eat in and it just wasnt. The portions were smaller the food didnt seem as fresh and upto the same standard of flavor I'm used to. My double glazed burger didnt even seem like it had been glazed at all. The moterella dippers were bland and the cajun onion rings didnt seem like the had been seasoned with cajun at all. This is an extremely poor showing in my opinion compare to what I'm used to. It also seemed like they gave much less jack Daniel's glaze in the takeaway pots compared to what I get in the restaurant. I wouldnt recommend having this in lockdown. Wait until they open properly again.

Visited four times over the course of two weeks as staying next door at the hotel.Service is great and food arrives quickly. No complaints regarding the staff at all. Food is average at best. For the price, you’d get similar cheaper at any Wetherspoons. Standard value burgers slapped on a bun with a lettuce leaf. Really nothing to write about as very unremarkable.Draught beers expensive and only cater for lager drinkers. Nothing very exciting to drink aside from the standard Peroni style “lager pop”.Music inside can be too loud and intrusive meaning everyone is shouting at eat other. Seems a popular place to celebrate birthdays for large groups. If someone bought me to a value pub restaurant like this for my birthday, I would never speak to them again.

I came to TJI Fridays last Sat afternoon with my children. Sharon was our waitress. What a lovely, professional lady. Nothing was too much for her. Sharon was also serving a party which I was very impressed with her work. The balloons animals she made for the children were brilliant . She didn’t stop once while we were there serving so many people . The food was lovely. No complaints from us.

Needed to avoid M62 rush hour, sitting in traffic last night when I was with my little girl and it was a choice between @tgifridaysuk and Tesco cafe! Guess which one she chose? I was gutted I was driving as the cocktails on the table next to us looked amazing especially the giant #pornstarmartini which is my absolute favourite drink! I think it’s the first time I’ve eaten at a @tgifridaysuk since I was at university but the #crispyducksalad was amazing! It arrived in a glass bottomless vase and was emptied bottom to top at the table which in itself was impressive. There was plenty of meat, a few hidden raspberries which added colour and another depth of flavour and just the right amount of #jackdanielssauce (dressing) the only fault for me was there were too many croutons but I’m not a big fan anyway so more me than them! Would definitely return and have the same again which really surprised me! We ate here as we were staying in adjacent Premier Inn and eating quite late on a Sunday evening. Staff were welcoming, efficient & friendly. Good choice of food which was very tasty.

Went to the restaurant today for lunch. The place was nearly empty, but had to wait a good while to be seated. The food was so so. Not as good as it used to be. I ordered a club sandwich. Now anywhere in the world when I have ordered one. It has always arrived the same way. 3 slides of toast with the food inside. Today it came as a burger. An easy way to do it. So check before you order. Me

Visited today and Sharon was amazing so good with my children who are under 2 she made them balloons and brought them crayons she kept are drinks full which is always a bonus she had good knowledge on the menu and helped us choose our food which was amazing thanks for a lovely evening again Sharon!

My second vist in a month as I was staying next door at the Premier Inn. I thought maybe the first time was an 'off night' so would give the benefit of the doubt. Couldn't have been more wrong. Mt welcome was lack lustre and was pointed to a table in the middle of a very busy area. When I asked if I could sit in a quitet area (which was empty) , he only grudgingly agreed and even then I couldn't choose my table. Water service was good and friendly but it didn't make up for the food which when it arrived was a dry, overcooked burger with 1 lettice leaf, a slice of tomato and a smear of cheese. All served lukewarm . Really TGI? £11.50 for that? restaurant was busy with families and people on a work night out, so I assume they don't go for the food. Very disappointing

Once both food and drinks are delivered, then you realize you are at TGI. Before that point, you are not quite sure what is happening. The staff's appearance was tired. No one there seemed to enjoy their job. I know from people working at TGI that their training is superb, but they seem to forget they have staff and a restaurant in Prestwich. Quality of both food and drinks good.

I took both my daughter's to treat them with lunch and have to say the food was incredibly delicious and I'll have to come back for the cheesecake !! Service was great, the lady who served us ( Clara ) was very attentive and lovely to chat with. We'll be coming back !!

We visited on new years eve, celebrating a birthday. The food was good (as usual) and our waitress was lovely, however the lad who greeted us as we walked in was not what we normally expect from the TGI brand. He was miserable, didn't smile, spent most of the time talking on a phone and looked like he did not want to be there. We will be going to the Ashton restaurant from now on as the experience is far more superior.

Such a shame the food was lovely but the front of house let down massively main courses arrived with still starter plates on the table no ask if wanted extra cutlery etc as we are trying to make room on our table. Little girls birthday so brought cake but forgot candles so cake just dumped on table only came here because of the fuss they used to make on birthdays. £130 later utterly disappointed but feel sorry for the chefs as food was what we would expect.

Thought this was all about burgers but had a great meal at christmas eve they had a 3 course menu for £23 . Great attentive staff allocated your own server and she was lovely helpful and polite. The food was good nobody from our table had any complaints and although I've lived here several years this was first for me but certainly not the last

It's noisy, but fun and the food is always good. They make a real effort to provide veggie food. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Booked in advance - table for 8 people to celebrate our grand daughters 13th birthday. The waitress was fab - i`m sorry i dont recall her name - but she showed the children how to make balloon animals and provided activity packs. Children aged 3, 7, 10 and 13 loved it. Food was delicious and hot. All meals brought to the table at the same time and everyone was happy with their food. All the waiting on staff sang the TGI Friday birthday song and clapped - grand daugter loved it. Thank you TGI Prestwich. We will return.

Unfortunately it wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience. I understand mistakes happen, especially when it’s a group of 18 but you don’t expect food to arrive cold and you don’t expect to be still waiting for a child’s desert (an ice lolly) when you’ve been in the place for over 3 and a half hours. Definitely won’t be returning.

Nipped in for some food and Sharon and Erin could not do enough to make my daughter smile. She loved the attention and the food and the price was much better than expected. No doubt we will return. Thank you ladies for your incredible hospitality :)

when paying machine refused payment this happened three times before waitress said machine was faulty and went to get another payment machine which worked fine .I got in touch with my bank two days later to find they were trying to charge me four times for the same bill .When i phoned them they said sorry the bill was over £200.WHAT A JOKE.NEVER GOING BACK. So embarrassing.

We had a family get together and our waitress Sharon Brown was absolutely amazing Very friendly polite attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. She was great with my grandson My daughters boyfriend proposed and Sharon brought out some cake for the occasion which was a lovely gesture. I had to write this review because she is amazing! Expected it to be busy as it was Saturday night. The place was heaving, too loud for my liking, mostly from just overly loud people sat nearby. Our waiter was just like a robot going through the motions, and even when upon payment i tipped she was the same monotone robot. The food was ok, nothing super. I had numerous bits of shell still on my 3 prawns topped on the mac and cheese, counted 7 pieces after i filtered them out upon eating! Not pleasant to do. And despite no mention of chilli flakes being in the burger my partner had she was unaware and only suspected upon eating to which she had to stop. She has allergies to chillis!!!! Had to take Piriton tabs to stop a reaction taking hold! So we will not ever return here.

This was a Monday night visit in Half term arriving at 6. Two elderly guest myself and a 12 year old... sat quickly at an appropriate table and served quickly with drinks

DO NOT GO! If I could give minus 15 for rating I would!! Upon arrival myself and my partner were placed near the window of the restaurant near every child in the place! We ordered our starters and I had the bruschetta and my partner had chicken wings. It was standard really. When we finished we stacked the plates up and waited 30 minutes for someone to come and clean the plates away. NOPE! We got our mains before they had taken the plates away! I was angry at an understatement!! By this time a family of 6 near ourselves had sent there food back because everything was so cold, they walked out. The lady behind us had the wrong burger so that was sent back. I had chicken strips and found a long black hair in the chicken! So I left all of my food and waited another 35 minutes to see if they would even notice. Waitress came over so I told her and she said sorry and walked away leaving the food on the table in front of me! At least take it away!! Common sense!!! Then the family sat next to us found a hair in their daughters food and the couple behind us had the same. We were all complaining as there was no staff to be seen anywhere she kept looking over and walking off. Absolutely appalling!! But I suppose that’s what you get for employing children who have zero common sense and have no idea how to speak to customers.

Loved going here yesterday evening, food selection was so broad that we were well spoilt for choice......and the puddings were Large!

Booked a table in advanced so not to be disappointed, was seated very quickly despite arriving slightly early, drink and food orders taken fast with no problems and came very quickly as well despite being quite busy, was given good quality food and quite a lot of it. Quite a loud restaurant as it is quite busy and full of people celebrating birthdays, (staff will sing and make a fuss if you tell them it is your birthday).

Went for a family meal. It was busy but we were seated straight away and our order took in reasonable time. The wait between the starters and mains was long but acceptable. After that it all went downhill. After half an hour we finally got to order a dessert. When they eventually came out we asked for the bill in order to try and speed up our exit - our effort was in vain! The bill when it came was wrong, we had to find our waitress to ask for it to be rectified and didn’t even receive an apology.

I went there for my birthday last Friday with a small group, the waiter took a long time to take our orders, then when he did the beer was flat twice (which he changed both times). We then waited almost an hour for starters, they weren’t great. We then waited another 45 minutes for mains, the table wasn’t cleared for a long time between, the waitress wasn’t particularly friendly. When the mains finally came some were cold, it didn’t seem particularly fresh and was just sub standard overall. The price at average £30 per head would be fine if the food was good but it seemed an extortionate amount to pay for the food and service we received. They were told it was a birthday occasion at the start and we didn’t get the usual birthday celebrations they do at the end. I won’t be going back.

Vegan review: Great service, vegan options marked on the menu! Could do with more though. I had vegetable fajitas, they were good!

Great polite friendly staff, didn’t wait long to be seated, we visited around 1pm on a Tuesday afternoon, the restaurant was busy but not overwhelming. It was a nice atmosphere. We ordered a starter and didn’t wait long for the main meal to arrive. Plenty of parking spaces too

We ended up spending over two hours in the restaurant, over 80 minutes of which was spent waiting, the first 40 minutes we didn't mind as we'd been told there was a wait, but then when two groups who'd queued after us in the buzzer system where seated before us, and once seated other groups who where seated after us where served before us it got a slightly but annoying, especially as we had a two year old who isn't the best at sitting still.. Food was nice when it finally arrived.

The food was horrible, restaurant is dim and dull. Brought the wrong starter out but still charged us for it. When I mentioned it wasn’t nice she asked ‘do you want me to try and take it off the bill’ awkward. I just ended up paying the full bill just wanted to get out as quick as I could. This is somewhere you would go if you had kids, More for them. I’d never return it’s awful couldn’t wait to leave don’t waste your money

Called in today on our way home from a day out in Southport. Friendly staff, good service and good food

We wanted to treat our daughters and they picked here. The food was not good. DO NOT order the vegetable Alfredo pasta. You know it’s bad and it’s not just you when your waitress tells you “no one likes it” when she sees your full plate. The steak was chewy. Used to be a great place to eat but gone down hill. Shame.

Midweek deals so good. Place so good and friendly. Excellent food and service, So much choice of good food 😄👍

Normally good but very slow service for a Wednesday night. Drinks good but over priced. Food was alright pretty standard
