Steak was really tough and chewy, I had half chicken with peri peri sauce tasted horrible and the chicken smelt off. Service not bad .

The food was OK, which took forever, but the service was virtually non-existent. We constantly had to ask for cutlery or drinks, in the end I just helped myself to cutlery from the pass and went to bar to order drinks. It wasn’t particularly busy, but the staff struggled with the simplest of hospitality tasks.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We went for a family meal and had, salmon, wings, curry and 2 Sunday roasts. 5 stars

I'll start with the staff are brilliant! Everyone who works here is so nice and attentive. Atmosphere is a bit dull now days and the food is good but very over priced for what it is, you can get the same thing cheaper. I would recommend but I don't think this will be a go to for us anymore. They're also a bit heavy with the whole pride thing and this is coming from someone who is Bi, trying too hard isn't a good look. Id also say if they are having certain events for adults it should be adults only however kids are allowed and that's a bit cringe, off putting as it's a restaurant.

Went out for dinner to celebrate my nan getting out of hospital & this was the perfect place to come for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, friendly attentive staff & delicious food. The lady who served us was so friendly & attentive & you could not fault her service (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but it was Friday afternoon about 3pm). The food was 10/10! The ribs were so tender and flavoursome. I had the GF cheeseburger which was top notch & so yummy. My nan had a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. The dessert just finished it off perfectly. Highly recommend the GF chocolate cake & the lemon meringue. Was a brilliant meal to celebrate a lovely celebration, so thank you very much.

Nice place to eat however glass of wine at 8.50 per glass is ridiculous even if it is on the wine menu. They don't service pints so for me Anatolian Grill is a better choice.

Good food service but a bit pricey

This was my first time here as part of a work’s night out. We had paid £45 each for a two hours bottomless drink session with food. The night was hosted by drag artists, which isn’t my usual scene, but they were very funny and entertaining. They had already created a buzz around the room by 7PM. They performed all around the restaurant and invited audience participation, which the vast majority were up for. The drinks came fast and frequently, whenever we requested them and the food was excellent, I had the rack of ribs but the other meals looked equally tempting. Everyone worked hard to ensure that an amazing night was had by all. We’re already planning a return visit.

Food OK but overpriced. We wanted Sunday dinner option with sweet instead of starter but was told no. Long wait for food, but waitress excellent.

The experience we had was absolutely amazing and our waitress Amber was very exceptional throughout our dinner. From the moment we walked in it was very welcoming and then the food… I don’t have right words to describe it, best I can say it was best we had in a long time.

This should be your go-to neighbourhood restaurant, but it just misses out. Service is very good (team are obliging and lovely). The food is OK, but if you are serving tex mex, you need to include the guacamole as standard and not as a £2 optional extra. The star, however, were the ribs (absolutely fab, if a bit on the small portion size for the price). A good cocktail list, bottle beers and red wine list. The white wine choice is very, very poor! Not a NZ wine on the list and the Chilean sauvignon blanc was rough. If there was a NZ offering, we would have stayed and had more than just a few bottles and would earmark this as our go-to place, shame.

Our first visit today with a big family group, mixed European heritage and a variety of languages spoken but our waitress Caroline coped brilliantly. Very friendly and helpful customer service, we were really impressed. The food was very tasty, generous portions. My sister and I enjoyed one our best liqueur coffees ever, just how we like it, so a shout out to Stefan for that. Also want to mention Ariana. My nephew tells us that they had wonderful service on a previous visit. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.

We went to celebrate Father’s Day also family members 60th birthday. We got excellent service as we always do when we visit. The food was amazing. Our member of staff who dealt with us was called Amber. Amber went the extra mile with all our requests. Amber was polite smiling all the tine. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

Great decor. Lots of space between the tables so you don't have to listen to the people close by. Excellent choice of starters - the tofu with chillies almost hospitalised me, but in a good way! My son ate the lamb shank and gave it 10/10. With a couple or three lemonades we had a good value meal for under £50. MINT! Revisited in August 2022 and the place was still EXCELLENT! Excellent restaurant!

We ended up going for the ribeye steak, with a side of salt n pepper fried (delicious) and house salad. All was delicious and still hungry we had desserts, the waffles with the ice cream and New York cheesecake with biscotti ice cream, tbh the ice cream was the best bit! Not cheap but really nice, the Malbec wine went well with the steak too

Been for first time today and will definately be back. My dad had jambalaya and said it was very tasty. I had ribs and wings and i really enjoyed it and my daughter loved the mac n cheese. Women server was lovely and friendly with us and quick service. Definately recommend!!

Regularly high standard of food on offer. In addition I find the staff are always engaging and friendly. In the summer there a comfortable outside seating to watch life go bye

Dead in here and terrible service !

A mate date on a cold evening, food was good both from the midweek set menu and both had nachos to start with. Nice size good amount of soured cream not enough cheese or salsa and they don’t provide guacamole which is a shame. Mains, I had the crispy beef and my friend had the burger. I was more than happy with my choice which was accompanied with rice and veg the burger looked big bland and dry he said it was ok but glad I had what I had. This was all for the set price menu of 2 course and a drink for £20 which was good value and when you look at the main menu it reminded me why I hadn’t been for some time, the menu is drastically over priced and there are far better places around the local area at at the main menu prices I’m not sure how they are still going as I wasn’t that impressed to return especially if it wasn’t for the set menu price! Service was fine although one waitress said it all.

Lovely staff, huge portions of tasty, well cooked food. Every time I go it's always spot on and I can't wait to go again.

Just got back from a Sunday roast at Panama Hatty's. We were looked after by a lovely colleague (Ari I think?) who was so hospitable from the moment we walked in and throughout our dining experience today. We had the roast beef and the turkey, which did not disappoint. Very tasty and very good portion sizes too, with trimmings alongside both roasts that we ordered. Unfortunately we did not have any space left for dessert which is a shame as I had spotted a special dessert of the day called Hatty's Mess which sounded delicious. We will definitely return to Panama Hatty's for food, whether that's for another Sunday roast or to dine from the a la carte menu.

Family surprise meal was stunning

Shambolic service today. Got my husband's order wrong and he had to sit and watch me eat my meal whilst they prepared his. No open apology that this should not have happened. Had to argue at the end of the meal to get situation resolved. Food fine when it came but an awful experience at what used to be our favourite restaurant in Prestwich.

Me and one of my daughters had evening dinner here on saturday night whilst in Manchester for weekend.Great service and food presented very well. Lovely venue with great friendly service. Thank you Panama Hattys for looking after us during our visit.

Shout out to the fantastic staff who were super friendly and very efficient.  More importantly the food was outstanding!  I had the Dirty Gaucho burger which was packed with meat and was a nice mess too.  Really good quality pulled pork and bacon. The beautifully grilled patties were the standout though. Juicy and thick with amazing flavour.  All housed in a chunky sweet bun which was fluffy but held together pretty well.  My side of ribs were also delicious. Meat fell of the bones nicely and more of that superb bbq sauce lathered on them too.  I rounded of the feast with a decent size portion of sweet potato fries which were also a delight.  Quite pricey but the quality of food as well as the service and environment are a very high standard so it's justified.

Don’t bother going! Was told there was Sunday dinners left, ordered and then was told they didn’t have any. Steak fajitas were so bland it was in edible, and chicken fajitas used all the bad parts of the chicken. Told the staff and nothing was done about it, horrendous food.

Great atmosphere, great food and wide variety. Prices have increased since lockdown and are on the high side and friendly staff.

Good middle of the road restaurant

It's been a while since I've been so the price jump was noticeable but it's a sign of the times. This didn't deter from the fact that the food and service were excellent. The chicken fajitas were delicious.

Our 1st time. My families observations are: - Decor is ok but outlook to the front is poor, why didn't they drop the blinds to hide the car park and the back of Farmfoods? - The staff were a bit scruffy. A smart Panana Hatty's T- Shirt would look good - The tables are well spaced out - The garlic bread starter was nice - The Sunday roast was ok. Lovely vegtables and Yorkshire pudding but the chicken must have been on a diet as there wasn't much meat! - We wanted 2 courses, main & dessert but were told it was only a starter & main. Never known that before. At the end, we were left disappointed and will not return.

Visited for the first time with a 12 strong family party for my 70th birthday. We had a great time! The food was excellent for everyone and our server/waitress, Caroline, was brilliant. Very helpful and attentive without being too much. We had a good laugh with her too

I went on my own for a quiet Sunday lunch. The staff very very professional but so friendly. I have alway had an excellent experience here but decided this time to leave a review. Nothing is too much for the staff here and the service is quick even through it was Easter Sunday. I could not recommend this restaurant anymore than 10/10.

I've been here several times as part of a large party (bookings for 30 - 50 people) and have never been disappointed. Each time the service has been great and the food hot and delicious. My most recent visit was a table for 2, where I still received the same friendly and efficient service. My steak was really tasty and cooked to order, (which doesn't always happen at other restaurants). Looking forward to my next visit.

Popped into the tea and talk event, which was so lovely of them to put on for the community. Lovely atmosphere, and the main menu looks lovely, so I will definitely return to investigate this. Thank you to the volunteers and Sean.

Went yesterday and all four of us opted for the Sunday lunch special. The roast beef was delicious, all the vegetables were cooked well and everything was piping hot. Service was excellent. Hadn’t been for Sunday lunch there since before covid lockdown but definitely will be back. Fully recommend booking.

Welcoming staff, quick service, hot tasty food

No problems at all until my wife's Sunday Roast came, and the Roast Beef was so tough that she couldn't cut into it, and when she finally managed to she chewed on it for ages before having to spit it out ! I tried it too and it was inedible.. Things like this can happen, but when the manager decided to charge us still and just knock 2 soft drinks off the bill, I was amazed. He didn't have the guts to come and explain his reasoning behind this decision - just sent a waitress with the bill.

Friendly staff and excellent food

Good selection to suit most people from burgers and steaks to veggie and healthier options. Excellent cocktails, staff are always very attentive and friendly. Nice decor.

Service was great. Food was a little colder than id perhaps want, but still tasty.

Came out for a midweek dinner with a friend. Good value set menu on offer so we opted for the garlic bread to start and the chicken burritos for mains. The garlic bread was a soft ciabatta drenched in garlic butter (just the way I like it!). The burritos were large and packed with fillings. I finished off with the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which was hot and tasty. Good service, nice venue. I’d go again.

I haven't been to Panama Hattys for quite a while but went last Friday with a friend. They have a 2 course deal which is a starter and a main for for £17.95 which is excellent value. The food is as delicious as ever, the portions are generous and my favourite Waitress served us. I saw on Facebook that one of the Waiters had died at the beginning of the year which was really sad because he was a lovely guy. Sadly he was a Conspiracy Theorist and didn't have the vaccines for Covid and it cost him his life at 50. Absolutely tragic. 💝

Great food as always. We ordered the beef burrito and chicken fajitas. The mojito cocktails were also great however, overloaded with ice. The service was quick, food was fresh and piping hot and the staff were very attentive with their service. Will definitely be returning

Good food and service will come again. Nice room. Drinks little pricey £3+ for 250ml coke. Only fault 2 women with toddler and young child noisy and wandering around. Youngster looking after toddler whilst 2 women looked at phones. Quiet word from management to think about other diners would have not gone amiss.

Beautiful place although we are Extremely dissapointed on this occasion that the steak was supposed to be medium although it was rare and bleeding on my partners plate .. no staff checked if we were happy Or the meal was ok and after spending in excess of £170 on food wine and cocktails , we spent a.very uncomfortable night as my partner was quite ill we have decided not to return to Panama Hatty after this very inadequate dining experience. Please be aware it is advisable to check on customers who dine here , that there experience is a good one I'm sorry to have to complain so publicly although there was no opportunity to do this whilst in your restaurant Mrs DM Stuttard

The food is very delicious and good service

Absolutely incredible Bottomless Drag Supper night tonight. The acts were amazing, fab value for money (food and drink portions were epic!) and the staff were brilliant, never once had an empty glass! Can't wait for the next one!

The service was great and the food fantastic. Nachos sharer to start, then wings and ribs main and chicken burrito main. Really good size portions, so big we didn't finish our mains! The only downside is that the menu lacks a bit more 'grill' choice, ribeye and platter are the only options.

Second time we’ve been, excellent service , choice of food is great and the standard is top notch. This is out new mid week place 5 star.

Nice but expensive, especially the drinks

Nice place but not very well sited overlooking a supermarket. Very good two course sunday lunch at a reasonable price, although the bottled beers were expensive I thought.
