Food was nowhere near to the standard I was expecting.

Lovely place, really enjoyed our steaks. Drinks were good too! It was a little quiet so atmosphere not the best but they can't help that.

Food was lovely. Unfortunately none of the sides stated on the New Years Eve set menu we had paid for though were available ! However, Kayleigh was a first class waitress, attentive, helpful & friendly and she worked hard to offer subs and make this right.

Steak was perfect, Kayleigh looked after us, never rushed and she went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted. She's a gem!

Really wonderful New Year's eve meal out with friends. Great vibes, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff that can't do enough to please you. Tasty food and wines and coffees. The creme brulee dessert was a show stopper ❤️ Kayleigh was our server and she was wonderful. So helpful and kind and caring. They left us enough time between all our courses in order to digest properly and be able to cope with the next instalment! 😂 Can't praise this place and their staff enough. Just go, you won't be disappointed xXx

Where do I begin... Visiting Miller and Carter this evening has been the highlight of my week. Food - I ordered the creme brulet and couldn't recommend it more. The caramelised crispy top paired with the creamy filling made for an explosion of joy in my mouth. Service - We were greeted by a handsome young lad named Dan behind the bar who lit up the room and ensured that all our needs were catered for. Atmosphere - It was a lively but chilled, comfortable atmosphere with many bright, friendly faces, especially Dans. Long story short, I enjoyed every minute I spent in the miller and carter, and plan on going back again and again (probably til they run out :))

Fabulous food. Reduced 1 star as the T bone was rare in the middle. Asked for medium. Everything was delicious 😋 Finished off with a bite size dessert (bigger than expected) and coffee, perfect 👌 Our waitress was superb and provider a lovely service considering it was obvious they were staff numbers down. She was quick paced, polite, friendly and provided a first class service. Thank you Josie.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miller and Carter, and I must take a moment to highlight the exceptional service provided by a lad named Dan. From the moment we arrived, Dan's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for our evening. He greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel valued and appreciated right from the start. Throughout our meal, Dan displayed an impressive knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. His attention to detail was remarkable; he ensured our drinks were topped up and that we were satisfied with every aspect of our meal. It was evident that he takes great pride in his work, as he was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance that made us feel comfortable and well cared for. But here’s the goofy twist—at one point, Dan accidentally tripped over a chair while trying to deliver our dessert, and in a split second, he turned it into a dramatic flourish, presenting our chocolate cake like a magician revealing a rabbit from a hat! We couldn’t stop laughing, and it made the moment all the more memorable. His ability to keep things light and fun, even when things didn’t go exactly as planned, truly made our visit special. Thanks to Dan, our meal at Miller and Carter was not just a dining experience but a delightful adventure filled with laughter! I highly recommend seeking out Dan if you ever find yourself at this establishment; his dedication to customer satisfaction and comedic timing truly elevate the dining experience.

We came in for Christmas dinner for the 3rd year in a row. We love coming for Christmas and we had a lovely time until the Bill came where we were charged for items we shouldn't have been. I was sorely disappointed to witness the female server handle the situation badly, not letting us finish the sentences and basically say we were wrong. It took another person to come over and agree the bill was incorrect with a further amended receipt pulled which was still incorrect. We finally got to the bottom of it when the additional items were removed which shouldn't have been on there. If we had just gone with the original receipt we would have been charged £60 for £23 worth of drinks. It really did spoil what should have been a lovely day.

Astonishing service and food here! Millie M made us feel really welcome and patiently ensured we had good choices from the menu. The steak is the best I've had and everyone enjoyed their food. I recommend this place for a great night out!

Kayleigh was our waitress, she was very attentive and super positive. She couldn’t do enough for us! The food was excellent and my steak was cooked to perfection! We also had the sharing garlic bread with cheese which was delicious. Been here a few times but Kayleigh definitely made this one to remember. We will be back soon!

Great atmosphere, great food, decent price

Had the 2 course daytime menu. We both ordered fillet mignon, both steaks served as ordered. The grain and leaves side was really delish also! Friendly staff 😁

Well, I don’t know where to start… waited nearly half hour for our table.. food was very average and over cooked, can’t believe you have what looks like a great menu but unfortunately your kitchen staff don’t know how to cook.. dry over cooked cod,over cooked lobster tail… booked for 7pm and waited till gone 8-30 for our food.. utterly disappointed.. sorry guys won’t be returning 👎🏻

First time here food was excellent served by the excellent Amelia . Starter was mushrooms in cream sauce one criticism would be more cheese and baked proper as it was a bit devoid of cheese . Mains perfect boy can they cook a steak Summing up I’ll be back great place great food and service Second visit 28/11/24 not as good I’m afraid waiter walked past as we waited at reception ignored us then started to clear tables and reset them with our group still stood waiting ! Poor start, place was very cold not really inviting to eat food when cold . Drinks ordered appeared short measures given again poor start . Food was good but expensive . Had to go find staff to pay not very attentive on paying request for tip on machine which I declined . Dropped a few stars on service and atmosphere . Shame really bit of heating and better service would have been full star rating

Diverted by snow we came across miller and Carter greenmount in Friday afternoon. So glad we did. One of the best service and food we have had in a long while. We had the lunchtime menu and we thought the portions would be small but no. We really had the best lunch. So much so we had to write a review. Thanks so much we will definitely be back and have told others of how great it was.

Came here for a family meal and it was thoroughly enjoyed. Millie, our server, was beyond friendly and attentive gave us some of the best service I’ve ever received. The steak, which I got in medium rare, was top tier and so tasty. Me and my family will certainly returning due to it now being a new fan favourite. All other staff were absolutely lovely and I can’t wait to come back for more.

4 of us went for my sisters birthday. Unfortunately the meal was cold , 2 of us had lamb , 1 steak and 1 chicken. The steak should of been sizzling the lamb had to be sent back was too pink wen asked for well done then back again to be microwaved . Plates should of been warm. Overall not good for a bill of £204
