Just found Alfred's today. Great service and wonderful pizzas. Recommend the cup of tea too. Will be visiting again. Highly recommend the mushroom truffle pizza.

Perfect spot for a lovely lunch. Megan our server was as sweet as could be and very attentive. Food was delicious. We chose to share a few small plates. They were all yummy and best of all hot. (I hate when lukewarm food comes out!) We sat on outdoor patio space and Megan popped a heater on for us. It was a great spot to pop into. We will be back for sure :)
Love it here! Cute laid back setting, great food at great prices. Massaman curry and pad thai both highly recommended. Staff are amazing, can't do enough for you.
Our first visit to the Hamers arm and the meal
was excellent.
Starters of chicken tikka skewers, feta cheese, black pudding croquettes & salt & pepper chicken all fantastic.
Main courses cheese & onion pie, fish & chips & peri peri chicken, our plates were empty.
Quality ingredients very well cooked, nicely presented and served by friendly staff, what more could you ask for, oh and good value for money.
We have already booked for Sunday !!
Give this new dining venue a try, you won’t be disappointed, we’ll done to all
Involved.
Fabulous food , lovely relaxed ambience and great service !!! The pizzas are excellent and the arancini are a must , served with a tasty dipping sauce . I would definitely recommend!!!!
Where to start....
There were 6 of us for lunch and none of us had been before, even though we all live and work in Bury. The veggie one had the vegan brunch which she really enjoyed and was pleasantly surprised with the cookie dough dessert. Two of us had Eggs Benny...delicious and the other 3 had different sandwiches which they all enjoyed. We all thought the price and value for money was outstanding and we are already planning our next visit. I, personally, would like to try the evening menu sometime.
The only down side is that it doesn't open more lunch times.
Just had my first gluten free chippy tea in 16 weeks. Best gluten free fish around. Was nervous about going but social distancing is all good and only 2 people allowed in shop
Excellent service and friendly staff
Thanks Jackie
When I was a rep I travelled round the country. I knew all the butty shops in the north. Now they are almost gone. However, here is a stunning butty shop. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or general takeaway they do everything. Fab food, lovely girls, all so clean and tidy. Breakfast, burgers, wraps, steak, salt and pepper chicken, just about anything.
The girls obviously have their regulars, first name terms and orders recalled but there was a steady stream of, mostly trades people, all personally addressed and catered for.
I am retired and am lucky enough to eat in all sorts of places, usually without reviewing.
On this occasion I just had to put fingertip to keyboard.
Well done girls, I’ll be back.
A late lunch for my son. He had a chip bap with red salt....his words were "That is lovely".
I wasn't planning on eating, but was tempted by staff recommendation of mac 'n' cheese. It was delicious....
And at half price....a great deal!!!
Well done to the chef!!
Visited The Bank Pub while the women enjoyed some shopping in the nearby Bury Market and can highly recommend this place after spending an enjoyable afternoon here.Drinks are very reasonable with promotions also on offer and the young lady serving is a credit to the place,so friendly and welcoming. The bar is spacious with comfortable seating, nice decor and plenty of screens for music and sport.

Tucked away in Bury Market, Moliuliu’s Place is a cozy haven where genuine Asian comfort food feels like a warm hug from home. Every dish is crafted with heartfelt care by its dedicated owners, serving up soul-soothing flavors that remind you of home-cooked meals. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy food that fills both the belly and the heart. For anyone seeking a taste of true comfort in our neighborhood, this hidden gem is a must-visit.
It's about 3 years since I last visited - pre covid and wow how it has changed. The outside space had been totally transformed with fountains and fairy lights. The little herb garden is full of flowers that you can see have been lovingly home grown, not bought from a garden centre for show. And that reflects the food too. A great selection of healthy vegan food with care taken to make it look good before you even taste it. Great friendly welcome without pretention. I defy anyone not to love the relaxing outside spaces. I am very pleased to once again give this little place a big rating.
