The best restaurants serving Italian food in Bury North West

We just had a delicious Diaviola pizza at Lombardis. The marinara sauce was really tasty and the salami chunks were really generous. We also had a slice of chocolate cake which was delightful. The owner was very friendly, we will definitely come back!!

Sadly we experienced an awful night here for my dad’s birthday. Dreadful service. We were told we weren’t booked in and left waiting around when we were. When they realised their mistake there was very little by way of an apology. It was apparently all a big joke! Then we were taken to our table which was so crammed that a lady was sat with her back to us between myself and my father. Our order wasn’t taken for forty minutes and the waiter went to other tables first and they actually ended up sending him over to us. One waiter came over and I smiled at him thinking he was going to take our order when he turned his back on me and actually walked off!

Both out pizza and pasta dishes were prepared fresh as soon as we ordered, and all tasted amazing!! Great food and lovely service too, would definitely recommend!

We visited Radcliffe Market for the first time last week, we decided to eat at Coastal town as I loved the look of their outlet. I wasn’t disappointed the food was delicious and great value. My children had the lasagna, which was a good portion compared to the usual childrens portion you get when eating out. They absolutely loved it and eat the whole lot, I did manage a sneaky taste and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend the cheese and ham sharing platter which my husband and I tucked into. Good selection on the platter and he washed it down with a large glass of red. Service was great by the team and very authentic. We are looking forward to our return trip, and another lunch from Coastal town.

We visited here last Friday evening for my daughter's birthday. I have to say it's one of the nicest Italian restaurants I have been to. The service from the team there was welcoming and 5 star and the food was out of this world, a really nice relaxed atmosphere also. We will definitely be back again. Thank you 😊

Such a lovley place to eat, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the staff excellent, can't wait to go again!!!! .

Menu looked great & the place looked cute. Our server Jamie was nice, she apologised they didn’t have the starter I wanted. Was excited then for my chicken burger. Well disappointed…. Was burnt to a crisp chopped in half thrown together & certainly didn’t taste like salt & pepper chicken burger! My husband dosent like to make a fuss so he attempted to eat it! He ate some, was dry and the mess left on the plate showed how awful it was. I ate his cheeseburger but again burnt and tasteless. I left that too. Such a shame as was a cute little place but there seemed to be more staff outside gossiping on the tables than perhaps in the kitchen!

I was recently on a date in Bury having a few drinks and we decided to get something to eat. Before I continue let me explain that this was a first date and I couldn't believe my luck, this girl was incredible, unbelievably gorgeous, funny, easy to talk to the whole package and then some. More amazingly she still seemed happy to be out on a date with me. I was punching harder than Rocky when he fought the Russian. Way out of my depth and desperate for things to go well. I don't know Bury all that well but had recently done some work there for an Italian gentleman who took me for an authentic Italian pizza after work one evening. It was the best pizza I've had in my life no contest so seemed a no brainer to go for a pizza. When we arrived at the restaurant I had previously been to it was closed. I was devastated and didn't have a clue where else to suggest. We walked a little further up the road and spotted Meliá. After having a drink at the bar Michael found us a table and I soon discovered the restaurant we was in was the same restaurant I had been to before only in a new premises. Everything about the night was perfect, the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere and most of all the company. It was certainly a night I'll remember with a smile for a long time. Thanks to Michael and all the staff at Meliá for making me look good. Fingers crossed we'll be back sometime. 😉

I booked a table for 6 for my wife's birthday through Mezzepotamia's website. I received a booking confirmation when I booked, but when we got to the restaurant the owners advised that they are closed for renovations. Unfortunately this isn't the first time a booking has been cancelled by the restaurant without them letting us know. Needless to say, we won't be booking a table there again.

Good variety of cocktails. Excellent selection of food . staff lovely and helpful. Definitely dine there again and would recommend it to everyone 😁

From the moment we walked in, LiV greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine welcome. Throughout our meal, she was attentive without being intrusive, always appearing just when we needed something. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. What truly stood out was her ability to handle a busy night with grace. Even as the restaurant filled up, she maintained her cheerful demeanor and never made us feel rushed. She checked on us regularly, refilling our drinks and ensuring our food was to our liking. She also went above and beyond, accommodating a special request for a dietary restriction with ease. Her professionalism and excellent service significantly enhanced our dining experience. It's clear that she takes pride in her work, and her positive attitude created a pleasant atmosphere for everyone around her. We left feeling well-cared for and impressed by her dedication to providing outstanding service.

Absolutely awful. Poor quality ingredients, badly put together. I would not recommend this place. Lasagne was a tasteless slop of cheap mozzarella and bland ragu - the mozzarella congealing as the food was going cold - absolutely rank. The meat inside the cannelloni was cold, grainy, tasteless - also rank. They sent the wrong starters and the garlic bread was stone cold. It all ended up in the bin, which pains me as i hate wasting food.

Always very pleasing experience.
