Actually amazing staff, food was incredible would definitely recommend for a cheeky date night

We visited here yesterday afternoon, for my Brother's 40th birthday. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had Brushcetta for starter, followed by beef and spinach cannelloni. We also had a tomato garic bread to share and tiramsu for dessert. The staff were friendly and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you 😊

Can't fault it. We've become regulars now.

1st visit and definitely not the last, fantastic place, service is 1st class with very attentive staff, it was a very busy place, the atmosphere was great and the food was superb, menu had good choices will be working my way through it 😋 I would definitely recommend this place

Disappointing, food and as ok, all about the money from the moment we arrived the ly were pushing to get us out the door and get someone else on the table. Wouldn’t recommend, overrated, expensive for what you get.

We have been coming to this lovely family restaurant for over 8 years and today wasn't any disappointment service 1st class and food hot and lovely best peroni I've had, we are moving out of town at the end of the month but will always call in for food

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and we have always had a good meal. But our last visit was just awful, my pasta wasn't cooked properly, now we are not talking al dente , I mean still crunchy .So I returned it and it was nuked in the microwave and returned to me . So now I had lava hot,crunchy pasta with the rest of the ingredients in the dish ruined. I explained again politely, I got told that " that's how pasta is meant to be ! " he offered to reheat it again I said no as that would not fix it . Waiter walked off . He returned a few minutes later to back track and asked if I wanted a pizza. I'd lost the will by this point and a didn't want to cause a fuss and ruin the meal for the rest of my party . When desserts came another member of the party had pieces of plastic in their dessert. The price of my meal and the dessert was knocked off the bill. But after being spoken to in such a manner we will not be back again. Other than that I had a lovely meal for my birthday when I came home and had 2 slices of toast.

Another lovely meal at Casalingo. If you haven't been please try, excellent food menu, so much choice and staff are so obliging. Will definitely be going again soon.

Cosy little Italian with great service and food

Had a lovely meal last night the place was very busy the food was delicious plenty to choose from we had chicken livers off the special with a lovely garlic bread with tomatoes onions cheeses followed by a great chicken main :)

Mama mia :) what a gem of a place we booked for Sunday evening a good job the place was full we decided on the flatbread starter off the special board along with chicken livers both superb sardinian beers then on to the main event i had a dish off the special board chicken with prawns wow my wife had the salmon both piping hot and delicious followed by Affogato in a cup :) glass of wine a great experience would i come again already booked ha ha

Surprised by all the glowing reviews here, and the fact that this is supposedly #4 in restaurants in Bury. Service mediocre. Drinks orders taken promptly, but had to wait ages to order food. Daughter was looking forward to one of the pasta dishes, but she has an egg allergy and all the pasta contains egg. There was no effort at all by the staff to address this, despite the fact that on the back of the menu it states that they can adjust ingredients to suit most circumstances (inc. vegan). It was very much a 'Computer Says No' attitude. My main course was good (tagliatelle), but my wife's lasagne was awful. Pasta burnt on the bottom and raw on top. How can an Italian restaurant get lasagne wrong? Pizzas were ok, but nothing special. Plenty of better Italian restaurants in Bury.

Amazing Italian atmosphere in this restaurant. The service is great and the food is full of taste, tiramisu left me speechless. Seems pretty busy so better to pre-book table.

I've been going here since I was a child, and they've never let me down. One of their waiters, Sergio is definitely my favourite server. He has a welcoming aura and never fails to put a smile on customers' faces. Keep it up!!!

What a fantastic restaurant , staff are extremely friendly. Menu isn’t massive but enough choice. Cheesy garlic bread for a starter / side dish is a must. My lasagne was very tasty , my partner had spaghetti carbonara which she enjoyed. Food wait isn’t long at all, and very tasty. Parking can be difficult but I parked on a side street near. I’d advise booking as it was busy when I visited (Saturday evening) Will visit again

A party of 8 for a 78th birthday. A last minute booking and also added one when we arrived but despite being packed really pleasant and accommodating. It was very busy and happy atmosphere so thought the service would be slow but faultless. Absolutely spot on service and could not fault them in terms of service, attitude or humour! We visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day after having it recommended to us by someone else who had visited a few weeks prior to us. We absolutely loved it. From the attention to detail from all staff and the lovely food and atmosphere, it was so welcoming and enjoyable. My partner had the steak and said it was the best steak he has had in his life, that it a bold statement! I had a chicken dish and it was so nice I didn’t want it to end. The puddings were equally as nice but the best part of our visit were the management and staff. We had two lemons shots before we left courtesy of the manager and we had a good laugh at him telling us it was Italian Lemsip. My partner squinted as he took his shot and the three members of staff stood by us watched us have them and we’re laughing and joking with us. It was just such a lovely atmosphere and we will deffo be returning. We can’t wait x

We decided to travel to Casalingo as we fancied a Italian meal and this place had mainly good reviews.Firstly we noticed how busy it was and thought food must be good, we ordered a caprese salad and a chilli and onion garlic bread to start which was both lovely and a great start, my husband ordered for mains seafood linguine which tasted ok small portion for the price and I ordered a chicken cacciatore the chicken tasted really odd and decided not too eat it and sent it back, the waiter said the chicken was fresh and there was nothing wrong with it and blamed it on the sauce, but I suppose he's not going to say the chicken is off, the waiter came across as abrupt,I changed it for a king prawn linguni again this was average and not much taste. Felt very rushed and was not a relaxing meal out, staff very busy and seems stressful,probably taking too many customers and needs to focus more on on a smaller amount of diners to give better quality.

Absolutely wonderful! This was our first visit to Casalingo, and it certainly won't be the last!! We were looked after wonderfully by all the staff. The food was fantastic, our steaks cooked to perfection for our liking, and plenty of it. The deserts were to die for, especially the trio, if you cannot make your mind up! Would highly recommend! Have visited 3 or 4 times for lunch and aways had excellent food. Pizza’s are excellent, reminded me of holidays in Italy. We have also tried chicken and pasta dishes all of which were very good. Staff friendly and top class service. Finished off with trio of deserts and a limoncello. Delicious!

Stunning authentic Italian had the chilly /garlic prawns followed by a superb steak in peppercorn sauce assorted very fresh veg nicely presented and piping my friends had salmon pasta and salmon grilled it looked great and we had empty plates great Italian atmosphere staff well done

Went for lunch today with our neighbours , have to say food was just amazing , I ordered plain salmon and fresh veg plus new potatoes, got exactly what I asked for which was not in the menu but more than happy to provide what I asked for, would recommend this restaurant such friendly staff and service was great, thank you , you far exceeded my expectations..
