Lovely authentic Italian food, really nice thin pizza.

Great meal from here: lovely thin base pizzas, delicious pastas. The mushroom starter was incredibly good!

We have just discovered Francos and thought we'd try them out. We had garlic bread, chicken and mushroom risotto and cannelloni. Food was delivered in 20 minutes and was piping hot. Good sized portions and everything was delicious. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be using Francos again. I would highly recommend.

I love Franco’s! Being half Italian I am very fussy about Italian food as my Dad cooks it so well! So I was over the moon when I found Franco’s. Real authentic Italian cooking! Reasonable prices and the owners are absolutely lovely! A must try!

My new favourite local takeaway, Franco's, never disappoints. From the pizza to the pasta dishes they are are always superb, great friendly staff and fast turn around on the orders. food is authentic with beautifully crips pizzas that arent over loaded.

First time order here and it was very nice…. My partner had the Franco pizza and I had the margarita with a rocket side. I would have liked a little more topping on mine tbh as I couldn’t taste much cheese unfortunately….. we’ll be back to try the pastas and garlic bread starters soon :)

Franco's pies are proper authentic pizzas from the Rome region (romana thin crust), this is a little gem. We tried the vegan pizza and vegan calzone, amazing tomato sauce, great dough and good vegan cheese. I would totally recommend it.

Just tried Franco‘s for the very first time, the food was absolutely amazing, you wouldn’t believe it’s takeaway food, it’s as good as some of the finest Italian restaurants in Manchester. The produce, quality of ingredients and the authenticity made you feel this food is made with love. I noticed that Franco’s had recently opened in Prestwich and decided try the food today.After phoning our order at 5-30 I was asked to collect the food at 6-15 and was delighted that as I arrived the food was ready exactly on time. As we live 5 minutes away the food was still piping hot when we started. I chose the spare ribs and my wife had a prawn cocktail to start.I had the most delicious canneloni and my wife enjoyed her spaghetti bolognese.Having eaten Italian food for many years I can honestly say that the food is as good as any restaurant and better than any other takeout.I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone.

I had the Vegetariana pizza and it was delicious. Far superior to a typical takeaway pizza and very reminiscent of pizzas I have eaten in Rome. I will definitely be visiting Francos again!

How good is it to finally have an Italian takeaway that is not only open but serves top quality food. My self and my girlfriend were welcomed by Andy a Prestwich local of 25 years who offers a smile and very interesting conversation about the local area and the plans for the business. Whilst Franco made us a couple of fantastic pasta dishes recommended by him self and a perfectly cooked thin and crispy cheesy garlic bread. If you like Italian food but cannot be bothered going out this is a must try I couldn’t recommend it high enough. Another great addition to Prestwich.

Best pizza this side of Rome!! Pasta Arrabiata also really authentic. Definitely not just your average pizzeria!!

We thought we would try the old La Gondala as we love italian food and there are not many takeaways local to us, we went for the calzone and Boscaiola. The pizza base was still crisp when i got it home, both pizzas were beautiful. I will be using this place again and going to go for the Lasagne next as a friend has had it and said it was gorgeous

At last...Great to have an authentic italian takeaway in Prestwich. Super impressed with the food and service. Highly recommend the Franco pizza, it was perfect and cooked to perfection. Look forward to my next visit which will be very soon!!

Best takeout Pizza in Prestwich! Noticed this new takeaway had opened and thought I'd give it a go as constantly on the look out for a good pizza in the Prestwich/Whitefield area. Everywhere else does American style pizzas but Franco's is the real deal when it comes to authentic Italian. Perfectly crispy handmade thin crust and quality ingredients. I had the 'Bella' and it truly was.

Formerly La Gondola and now under new management. Wonderful Pizzeria serving very authentic Pasta and Pizza. We tried the Romano pizza and a Penne Arrabiata and can honestly say some of the best we have ever had. Had a quick chat with one of the owners, the chef Franco has worked in many Italian restaurants in and around Manchester and certainly knows his stuff. Wish the new owners the very best of luck in their new venture. We wil definitely be making Franco's our weekly take-away. 5 stars 👍
