Where to start.... There were 6 of us for lunch and none of us had been before, even though we all live and work in Bury. The veggie one had the vegan brunch which she really enjoyed and was pleasantly surprised with the cookie dough dessert. Two of us had Eggs Benny...delicious and the other 3 had different sandwiches which they all enjoyed. We all thought the price and value for money was outstanding and we are already planning our next visit. I, personally, would like to try the evening menu sometime. The only down side is that it doesn't open more lunch times.

Me and my Mum had a girly day out and stopped for lunch at rawkies I happened to stumble across their restaurant/ cafe while researching the area and once looking at the menu instantly sold From quirky and innovative dishes There’s something for all and caters for allergens and dietary requirements Run by Sophie and Adam the place is beautifully decorated in a quirky modern style run l 1/2 restaurant by evening and dessert / brunch bar by day , a great concept that really works And the two of them have it run like clockwork we loved the look of the different menus and planning a return for the tasting one ( plus also offer afternoon tea , a la carte and desserts so could return again and again to try all) My mum got the: WAFFLE SANDWICH WITH STICKY SESAME SOY & BBQ MAPLE CHICKEN KARAAGE MAYO, CHILLI JAM, GINGER POPCORN, CHIPOTLE GLIZE while I opted for the VEGAN BRUNCH BOARD WITH PLANT SAUSAGES, QUORN MEATBALLS, FALAFEL, VEGAN SCRAMBLED EGG, BBQ BEANS, SUNDRIED TOMATO PESTO, GARLIC WILD MUSHROOMS, ROSTI ROCKET & BALSAMIC ALONG WITH ROASTED GARLIC TIGER BLOOMER not forgetting their speciality CHOCOLATE CHIP BAKED COOKIE DOUGH BREAKFAST PUDDING AND VEGAN CREAM I thought was A genius idea and all meals should end with a sweet treat in my eyes and this was perfect and also available to purchase The flavours and attention to detail in the dishes were faultless, service second to non and price on point , a must visit and support small independents Overall A fab day followed by a browse round the market

What a treasure! Had the most lovely evening with my friend at Rawkies recently. We had the taster menu, one vegan option, one not. Every dish was beautiful, not just in presentation but in taste and flavour. We were very well looked after, service second to none. A great restaurant that should be cherished and looked after by locals and treated with delight by visitors.

Recently did the tasting menu for our anniversary, all courses were amazing and they were very accommodating for allergies in any of the courses. Can't wait to come back for the tasting menu again!

We went here for hubby’s birthday after seeing the brilliant reviews. They are 100% justified this place is amazing. The food was excellent. One of the nicest meals we have had if not the best. We ststayed at the Portmerion Village last month. The food there was excellent but was £70 per head. This was every bit as good. The first couple of courses were ones I might not normally have chosen but they were delicious. The couple that own it are lovely and made us so welcome. They even gave hubby some birthday cookie dough to take home. We will definitely be coming here again and would highly recommend it

Visited this evening with my husband having pre booked the six course tasting menu. Lovely welcome. Time given to sit and order drinks. What a menu! Beautiful food delivered which looked beautiful and tasted even better! Each course was what we would never usually order. First time eating lamb’s heart and steak tartare! Each course introduced and explained. Not rushed. Lovely place. I’ve been to Six by Nico twice and this is far better! Second time I’ve been here. The afternoon tea is fabulous too x

Ate here early this evening, with family and friends, and we had the best time. The service was friendly- nothing was too much bother, and it was a short wait for our food. The food was incredible though- you *have* to have the Yorkie wrap with s&p chicken. Desserts are amazing too, with edible raw cookie dough served in a variety of flavours and in a variety of ways.

We've been supporting Rawkies for a long while, and choose to come here over most places in Bury because we enjoy it so much. We've been with friends, family and as a couple, for lunch, dinner and Afternoon Tea and this weekend was their relaunch so we just had to come! They've got a new look, new brand and a new menu which looks fantastic! There was so much to choose from; three of us decided to get the Full Brunch which is not what you think; Meatballs, Turkey Bacon, Mushrooms, Poached Eggs, Olive Tapande, Toast, BBQ Beans and some maple cookie dough with cream! All for £8.50! When do you see something like that. My wife got the fish goujon burger. We all loved our food, the flavour as I've said is next level and Adam could be a high-end Michelin chef. We had a few drinks and my wife and I shared at a raw cookie dough and ice cream sundae. I'm not sure how I had room for it but I'm glad I did. Honestly, we had no complaints, as we never do and we just love it here. We've already spotted the "Coming Soon" Ala Carte Menu that we definitely will be trying one evening when it's launched.

Adam's at Rawkies commitment to inclusivity is commendable. They catered to my dietary restrictions with grace and precision. He took the time to understand my allergies, ensuring that every dish was safe for consumption. As someone who often struggles with dining out due to allergies, this level of care was deeply appreciated.

Went here for lunch with colleagues today. Didn't even realise it was a cafe. Wow what a find!! The menu is a little different from your average cafe but the food is very very tasty. I had a yorkshire pudding wrap from the festive menu which had turkey, sausage, stuffing, brie and cranberry sauce with a small pot of delicious gravy and some side salad. The flavours packed a punch. One of us had the veggie version and said it was great and the other had a big brunch which wasn't a conventional brunch but he said it was really tasty. The owners were friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely chat about their other offers and the availability of spaces downstairs one suitable for a business meeting or one for a private catered function. They are starting an eve six course taster menu which I imagine will be delicious. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit.

Best Afternoon Tea I've ever had and for only £10pp it's an absolute banger. You can easily pay a lot more for a lot worse and less. It was so scrumptious. The sandwiches: cheese and beetroot chutney, chicken and pesto and falafel. All so tasty! They're a master. The cakes, oh my God, so delicious: vegan carrot cake with pistachio cream, vegan chocolate and cherry torte and a raspberry, seeds and nuts chocolate brownie. To top it all off, instead of a traditional scone they serve their special safe raw edible cookie dough, eton mess style. Honestly, I couldn't recommend it enough. It's a lovely Café and even lovelier owners. Support local.

Absolutely brilliant, I called in with my son last week for a treat and we had the Rawkies dippy egg and soldiers, it was amazing, great balance of flavours and perfect portion size, it was so good and the owners so welcoming that I booked to bring the whole family back for afternoon tea, this did not dissapoint, the best value for money afternoon tea I've ever had anywhere. Next I want to try the brunch, pizza, protein cookie dough, the list goes on. Such an amazing place, best in the local area. Well done to the two fantastic owners and see you soon 😊!!

New buisness that once established I expect will be very busy. There is a good choice of food. I had a burger that was a burger with a difference. It came on a pretzel bun, there was a choice of 11 different cheeses to accompany it ( I opted for the ploughman's cheese) , a choice of 2 relish (I opted for the beetroot / horseradish) and instead of the usual ketchup a choice of 4 different sauces (I opted for the paprika mayo). Then although I was very full I couldn't resist a dessert. I had the raw cookie ( thus the name Rawkie) ice cream sundae. This consisted of ice cream, edible raw cookie dough of which there was a large choice, drizzle, sprinkles and crumb with fresh cream. Very nice and again a bit different. Having spoken to Adam, the owner, he explained that he will soon be expanding the menu further. An excellent little eatery. Well worth a visit especially if you want to eat delicious food that is a bit different

What an authentic experience! We booked the Lancastrian Lunch for our family of 4 for my Dad’s 80th birthday. The 3 hour trip just flew by in the most memorable way! From arriving and being shown to our First class seats (they are all 1st class by the way) , a glass of fizz already on the table, a substantial 3 course meal with friendly and attentive staff, to the gentle ride through the lovely Bury/Ramsbottom countryside, it was all perfect! My Dad was allowed up into the engine to see the stoking and have a chat with the driver. This was actually the highlight for him, so a huge thanks for that!
